  1. If she can't keep her own e-mail safe, why should we trust her with a whole countries saftey? A New Campaign Slogan: McCain/Palin: not rly sure how teh internets work.
  2. Well that certainly is laughable. You must remember that the Pats play in arguably the weakest division in football, and most definatly the weakest in the AFC. They'll make the playoffs, but a Super Bowl WITHOUT Brady is out of the question. A few surprises: -Green Bay is 2-0, and Aaron Rodgers looks fantastic. Why aren't they talking about his success? If he was crumbling, the media would be all over him. Where's his praise? -The Chargers have lost two heartbreakers. However, Phillip Rivers has looked outstanding, and I still think they've got that division dispite their 0-2 start. -My Cleveland Browns are 0-2. This may surprise some people, considering they were very hot last year. To me, this comes as no surprise. Their schedule last year was a huge fluke, and this year they won't go more than 7-9. I hope I'm wrong, but I know I'm not. -The AFC is now up for grabs.
  3. A few things I noticed: -Pryor's (Ohio State's stud QB) time is now. Toddy B can't handle the big stage. -USC's Defense DOMINATED the line of scrimmage. It wouldn't have mattered if Wells was in there or not, they owned the line of scrimmage. -OSU will NOT make the national title. They will win the Big Ten, but they need another year for a national championship. -USC is still NOT the best team in college football. I still think OU or MISSOU or a couple others are the team(s) to beat, regaurdless of the rankings. -Without Beanie Wells, and with Toddy B, OSU is barely a Big Ten championship program (at least on offense).
  4. I'll be a pioneer and take OSU by 6, 23-17.
  5. Went to spiritual mages today. Trip is ongoing. Considering which rare to invest in if I do indeed quit. Green p-hat looks nice.
  6. NFC NORTH: Packers NFC EAST: Cowboys NFC SOUTH: New Orleans NFC WEST: Seahawks wildcards: Eagles, Vikings AFC NORTH: Steelers AFC EAST: Patriots AFC SOUTH: Colts AFC WEST: Chargers wildcards: Jets, Jags Playoffs: NFC Championship Game: Green Bay @ Dallas. Dallas 27-17 AFC Championship Game: Chargers @ Colts. Chargers 31-27 Super Bowl: Chargers @ Dallas. Chargers 24-10
  7. Moreso the fact that it has turned me off to 99 mage and thus left me without a goal.
  8. Still undecided. Gaining interest in getting 99 magic again. Kidnda want a white p-hat as well.
  9. Look casually good. Nice jeans or Khakis along with a nice polo/collard shirt will work nicely. Stay away from jewlrey. Also, if they ask you any questions like: "You come in for your shift and you see your friend stuffing money down his pockets from the register. What do you do?", make sure you answer that you will tell a manager immediatly. They LOVE that. If that ask you about yourself, don't ramble. Be short and sweet. If they ask you why you want the job, tell them that you love the place and everyone is friendly and you'd love to be a part of it. Flatter them, but don't be over the top.
  10. Hey everyone. Today is a sad day. I've died for the 4th time at rock lobsters. Twice my computer has frozen. Once a guy lured lobs onto me and killed me while I was afk. Today, I was killed by a random while I was searching for something to watch on TV. Stupid, I know, but I've lost 20M only to earn 1.5M Magic xp. I've given up on 99 mage. I no longer have an RS goal, and things seem to bore me. I'm considering quitting.
  11. I'm just going to assume you're being willingfully ignorant to the countless things I've posted that Obama has done worth noting. I cannot argue with a skipping record player. She cleaned house of corrupt republicans? Meaning...? Source? Palin actually supported the bridge to nowhere: [hide=Flip flopping]Palin initially expressed support for the bridge and ran on a "build-the-bridge" platform, arguing that it was essential for local prosperity.[77] After the bridge became a political issue Congress replaced the earmark for the bridge with an infrastructure grant to Alaska to use at its discretion; Palin's subsequent policy was to continue construction on the road originally intended to link to the bridge while exploring less-expensive transportation between Ketchikan and Gravina Island.[78][79][80][/hide] "Palin has strongly promoted oil and natural gas resource development in Alaska, including in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), where such development has been the subject of a national debate." -This is NOT helping us get clean energy. This is doing the exact opposite. "Stood up to Bush's secretary of the interior?" What did she do? No explanation provided for that one. Vetoed almost a quarter billion dollars in spending? Funny, remember this?: "In June 2007, Palin signed into law a $6.6 billion operating budgetthe largest in Alaska's history.[71] At the same time, she used her veto power to make the second-largest cuts of the construction budget in state history. The $237 million in cuts represented over 300 local projects, and reduced the construction budget to nearly $1.6 billion.[72]" Finally, some comic relief (although I find it quite appalling): [hide=Palin hates Polar Bears]On January 5, 2008, the New York Times published an op-ed by Palin, presenting her view that the polar bear should not be placed on the endangered species list.[66] In May 2008, Palin objected to the decision of Dirk Kempthorne, the Republican United States Secretary of the Interior, to list polar bears federally as an endangered species, saying this move was premature and was not the appropriate management tool for their welfare; the State of Alaska filed a lawsuit to stop the listing amid fears that it would hurt oil and gas development in the bears' habitat off Alaska's northern and northwestern coasts.[67][/hide]
  12. Still waiting for you to provide any evidence to the contrary... How is this not a good thing?: -Obama held assignments on the Senate Committees for Foreign Relations, Environment and Public Works and Veterans' Affairs through December 2006. All of those things I listed a couple posts ago show that he doesn't just sit on his butt and actually does his job, and he does it effectivly. Palin still runs 670,000 people. Ready to lead 300 Million plus? She's done nothing extraordinary in Alaska, why trust her to America's future?
  13. Because there is a right and wrong answer.
  14. This is the question I would like answered as well. However, I've simply been told I don't understand faith and been passed by. Stay on topic, theists. I'd like to see a well-reasoned debate out of you. How about some evidence?

Why don't we put up some accomplishments... Palin can say she stood up to the establishment and took on her own party...Obama can say what?(He can make up stuff about some ethics bill) She can say she passed a tax increase on oil companies...Barack can say he voted for Cheney's energy bill with tax breaks for oil companies Palin can say she commanded the Alaska national guard...Obama can say he proposed legislation to ensure we lost the war Palin can say she went to the middle east to visit the troops she commanded...Obama can say he did after being forced by McCain and then went on to skip meeting injured troops in Germany because he couldn't bring cameras Palin can say she has long supported expanding American energy...Obama can say he opposed it until it became clear almost 3/4 of Americans supported it Do you read ANYTHING anyone else posts? -Obama is beloved by most every foreign power. Palin went to Kuwait, once, in 2007. -Palins energy policies: [hide=]Palin strongly supports drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), which McCain has opposed. They also disagree on her belief that global warming is not caused by human activity.[/hide] -Erm, how did she stand up to her own party? Care to explain that? Obama has done plenty of praise-worthy things since he entered office. Perhaps you should try reading the posts I've made about them. -Palin has no control over the national gaurd. Again, go back and read what others have posted. -Obama supports big oil? Think again: [hide=]Democrat Barack Obama told voters Saturday he would push an aggressive economic agenda as president: cutting taxes for the middle class, raising taxes on the wealthy, pouring money into "green energy" and requiring employers to set up retirement saving plans for their workers. Campaigning in Pennsylvania, a key battleground in the fall campaign, Obama said he would take a much more hands-on approach than would Republican John McCain. He again criticized McCain's proposal for a temporary halt in the federal gasoline tax. It would "actually do real harm," Obama said, by reducing revenue for road and bridge construction even as oil companies make record profits. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=5122549[/hide] Now, go back and re-read about half the stuff you skimmed, Jack, and then we can have a debate. Until then, I will no longer respond to the same old nonsense that has already been discussed.

You shouldn't have the ability to take a creationism class instead of a Science class because they are not comprable. Creationism isn't science. There is no science involved. Free speech doesn't go down the toilet. These are not issues of free speech. The issue of creationism in school is a scholastic issue. It revolves around our children, and what they will learn. They have no reason to learn creationism in schools. The abortion issue is a woman's issue. Sure, she can support whatever she wants, but saying "Well, it's free speech" doesn't make it any less deplorable.
  17. [hide=] People who talk (type) like this in a debate and expect to be taken seriously. You just proved you don't even understand the slightest bit about the concept of faith. I'm sorry I've been quite short with you and your posts lately, True. You just act like atheism is some sort of magical pedestal of greatness and us theists should be scrabbling for a word of your wisdom. So, yeah, I apologize. There's a reason you aren't taken particularly seriously when you speak of the Bible. 1. You haven't read the entire thing. 2. You're (apparently) terribly biased in your readings and interpretations of it. In my few translations of the Koran, many of the Islamic-only parts befuddle me completely. But, I wouldn't even try to bring up the Koran in a debate against a Muslim. It doesn't mean you have to, either. And there's a difference between criticizing and insulting. It isn't like I can respond either, what am I to say: "I lol'd when I heard about scientific method." ? Also, edit: Tried to fix quotes. Sorry if anyone saw them all jacked up. [/hide] I do expect to be taken seriously. Every time some one brings up a bible passage I take it 100% seriously. I laugh at the book myself, sure, but if you take it something seriously and debate it with me, you better believe I'll be dead serious the whole way through (with the exception of comical flaws in nearly every argument for the bible). Not reading the whole bible is NOT a means of discrediting someone. It is the burden of proof laid upon the believers that is yours to carry, and not the other way around. My knowledge of the bible could be nill, but I would still be able to carry out a well argued debate based on logical flaws alone. Reading 3/4ths of the book helps, sure, because I can more easily deconstruct arguments, but even if I didn't know a single word it wouldn't hurt my cause. My interpretations of the bible weren't biased at the time I read them, which was before I denounced my faith in god. I had more faith than most, but sometimes you watch something happen and begin to think: "Why didn't god stop this?" Again, I'm still waiting for an valid argument on the topic of god. There seems to be no proof coming from the side of the believers, simply because it is blind faith. There has never been a bullet proof argument for the idea of god, so I stand both unimpressed and unconvinced.

    Sarah Palin

These are good things?: # She believes creationism should be taught in schools. # She believes religious leaders should be able to endorse political candidates. # She strongly opposes reproductive freedom for women and wants to ban abortion even in cases of rape or incest. The idea of seperation of church and state seems to have a problem with this. Plus she is anti-choice, and against anything that refutes her religion.
