I distinctly remember a guy taking 99 slayer as his first 99 stat... He paid some players and friends helped for free to hit monsters until they can be knocked out in one hit. If he hasn't taken another 99 skill yet, then I would love to see the rarest item in the game = untrimmed slayer cape.

Before there was a message center, Jagex used email, but even then they never did send any links. They just said to go to runescape website. Those messages from the real Jagex are the only emails about runescape I've gotten, lucky me.
