  1. I am in need of suggestions as I can't think of anything to add. Thanks
  2. Very good guide, it could use some example videos (use unregistered hyper cam) and maybe some pictures. If I where a nonmember I would follow this guide :D! Also, maybe add a comparison, like how much you would get by runecrafting with other methods. Such as the explorers ring method, or the classic running back and forth. Also, if you really feel like getting into it, add some tips and tricks on how to do the Great Orb Project effectively.
  3. The reason I don't have lower level techniques is because its not the best for lower levels. Also many lower levels can just look at the gear table, I'm guessing most of them have at least a DDS. For a lower leveled player I would suggest something like experiments. Added Bestiary Pictures and Pure Melee pictures with the AGS. Also I noticed I didn't have the shifters in the bestiary, so I also fixed that. As soon as I can I will get screen shots of the rewards screen as I noticed those where missing as well.
  4. Thank you :D you are like the first one to notice I edited in some stuff. Yes, I did include why it is better. I updated the banners and am finishing up some other missing pictures and glitches.
  5. Finally I have finished my new Pest Control Guide. You can expect plenty of updates! My current goal is to take back my 80k views from before the major crash down of tip.it forums. Please leave a post :D
  6. You know you're a runescape geek when you take out the trash and say "good fight" to the trash can.
  7. you can also get them from barb warlords. :P I assumed thats what he was getting them from. I have done about 16 loads down there at spirits with monkfish and prayer and gotten 16 pages so far, only one of those coming from a mithril dragon. Angry/enraged barbarian spirits and skeletons are the definite way to go if all monsters drop all pages.
  8. You aren't the only one trying to get em all. I'm currently working on that, but its hard as it seems you can only get some from mithril dragons, and possibly some only from brutal greens. Not much more I can say except that another fan site has a complete list of all the entries....
  9. Mwahaha! a competitor... You will have a tough time beating my renewed guide coming out in a while. On Topic: Not a bad guide, add some pictures so it doesn't hurt peoples eyes. You may also want to add some info on getting points and the different boats.
  10. Don't give Jagex any ideas. I personally do not believe Jagex would ever take away direct trading. But Jagex really needs to loosen up. I appreciate their hard work with trying to stop rule-breakers, but, as someone said earlier, they seem to be focusing more on that than their loyal fan base. I LOLed at that one. But there is a way to stop autoers and the supposed "sweatshops" in China, and that solution lies in tutorial island. I have done all the calculating and have concluded that there would be only 2 ways to make autoer accounts: Do it by human means, as in those gold farmers will actually have to complete an extended tutorial island to use the account. Or make an extravagant autoer to do it. Think of it this way: how many ways can you say/imply "yes" in the human language?
  11. I saw this thread posted on the main page, and I thought I just might post my two cents on this update. Oh, and have many things I would like to say so this post is going to be a little disorganized. First, Jagex made this update to stop Real World Item Traders (or so they would like us to think) from buying cash, and so put a cap on the 1 versus 1 player duels. This cap is 3k, seemingly insignificant and long way to transfer a large amount of cash if one wished to do so; but, tournament caps are set to 1mil which seems a substantial amount, one which can still be exploited to trade through duels. Many players say that Jagex should just move the cap up for 1v1 duels to 1mill, and that makes sense, don't you think? In my opinion, its doesn't. Due to having a lower cap on 1v1 duels all those Real World Item Traders (who still wish to transfer through duels) will try to transfer cash through tournaments bringing a new high leveled player sport, in which one hunts down these duels and wins them, taking both Traders money. This leaves Jagex a reason to keep the cap lower on 1v1 duels, and significant enough so the "time to start" tournaments takes its toll on the potential gp traded per hour. Only thing left to say here is: What stops them from just normally trading the money anyway? The actual effect on rares this this has should play out as follows: 1. Prices of rares decrease, due to fright of further dropping prices and the fact that more rares have been put into the "merchants cycle" in which they are not hoarded. This means that the new hoarded item will be gp and as it is hoarded it will become rarer, pushing all prices down slightly. 2. People with rares who have quit will decrease the total amount of rares currently in the game. This means when the "Fright Price Drop" ceases rares will skyrocket to an even higher price than they had been before, which will cause hoarding of rares again, which will restabalise the economy. 3. Some people who have quit with rares will come back to playing, which will cause a slight drop in prices again and a decrease in the inflation of rares for a short time. Note that between steps 1 and 2 there is a "lockdown" period where many players will be afraid to trade others due to the current instability of the economy. Guess what else happens during this period: Grand Exchange. My guess is Jagex planned this cap to hold the fluctuations in the economy from the Grand Exchange at bay so the change might be more gradual. I believe the time where Jagex will change the cap on 1v1 duels (which several Jmods have said on the RSOF) will be between the time of steps 2 and 3, and will either be a total removal of the cap or and increase to 100k-10m, and if it is increased to over 500k there will also be an increase on the tournament caps. My action will be to hold tight to my rares (although if I had acted fast I could've made a good 4-6m) and wait for high times. Be careful when you sell, if you sell, though, as summoning is coming and that will do something to them aswell.
  12. Good point, but no. You can complete runescape, but you can only do it in 1-2 week increments, as updates come out every week or so with new content. If you: Maxed out on exp Maxed out on "permanent upgrades" like quests, chompy and black knight kills, champion scrolls, music, ect. Achieved the maximum amount of all "useful items" Which is somewhere about 2.1trill, the max variable for java, and bought every existing rare Was knowledgeable of every aspect of the game and had experienced all of it in some way, along with that would mean you have all existing holiday event items and have unlocked every emote. And finally: Understand the game and all aspects of its code better than its creators. Now I would consider you having "beaten" (become better than) the game. P.S. Once achieved you gotta finish it again next week =p
  13. Sweet! This is a wonderful guide for "zerker" pures. Only one question on your first equiptment pic: I didnt know you could wear a bracelet in your ring slot :XD:
  14. Completely Redone! I made it so that there are no repeats, and alot more pictures!
  15. According to my calculations, based off of yours, the potential exp per hour is around 40k, for all those curious ones out there. I would advise changing your guide to include and inventory pics of pure essence and all four pouches (look around for one and/or edit it; just make sure to do a good job). Second you should include in your armor picture: Fire tiara Spottier Cape Pennance Gloves (optional)Charged Glory for teleports to edgeville if you forget your ring of dueling It would also be nice if you gave a cash-table to show how much you will spend/earn while fire crafting for each aded duplication level(e.g. 35 for double and 70 for triple). Great start off in my opinion. TIF can always use another skilled guide-writer.
  16. I was wondering when you would post it here, seeing as most of the RSC know about TIF, not so much the other way around. You still haven't edited my pic, lol. Short on time or summat? (no offense intended) Was/am there now training smithing and I decided to check the crafting+high alch for exp potential. Turns out if your low on cash this isnt a bad way to go. Just make sure you pick up the hide and the hair, as the hair gives 25 crafting exp each and will help you fill up your inventory full of crafting items faster (There is also a conveniently placed spinning wheele nearby). I would advise getting about 500 hides+hair before starting to craft, then craft them all, rinse, and repeat. To the post about Ape Atoll Gorrilias: Actually the exp is more like 80-95k exp per hour, although this requires some skill, technique, special items, and about 110 combat. Even so this guide was written for all those without 70+ prayer/who have finished monkey madness/have Ape Atoll teleport, as Yaks are a relatively easy way to train combat with little or no food required. (no offense intended here either) Well, gratz on the coming to TIF. GL on both your threads
  17. Nice levels  Gl on all your goals, especially herblore (one of my favs too) Who knows? You might become tip.its new pro blogger!
  18. Its good to see you are getting back on your feet. I was quite surprised when you first quit, but you've come a ways since that time. Best of luck with your house, and if you need a DK partner, I'll be happy to come! (Although I've only DKed once before :-$ ) And gratz on DH helm!
  19. Back from Vacation :) I might add some stuff with the new clan chat talthough it would be minimal :XD:
  20. Well in like 1 day ill be going on vacation for a week or so... So dont expect any updates during that time.
  21. Not bad, although I ask you to get competitive with the other guides around here in order to improve yours. Try listing the equipment you should wear while pking and such; that would help a lot. Can't wait till its finished, and thank you for writing another one of these f2p pures guides. Reading one always gets me working again on mine.
  22. Did you know that when chompy bird hunting if you stand next to a frog when it pops you get the message: you are hit by bits of exploding frog! and get hit for 2 damage? Top that :P
  23. Not too bad, although i would ask you to work a little harder on it, as i am going to need some competition if i am ever going to put my guide back up. If you could add a (legal) way to get all this money you suggest spending that would be helpful. And remember, a picture speaks a thousand words. One or two pictures would then double the size of your guide! =) It would also be nice if you ran your guide by a spell checker. Its not the worst I've seen, but it would help all us readers out a little bit. Keep at it
  24. i like the ideas  as for the moving rocks and trees, its easy: just leave a "dead stump" or "rock" in place of what the tree/ore would move to, and every few minutes the place changes. this would slow autoers much the same way as moving fishing spots do, because when you click on the (now moved) rock/tree stump nothing happens! hopefully this can get through to The Blokes @ Jagex Towers
