  1. Agree with the first article, there is so much more room in Dungeoneering, it can be updated for years to come. It is so nice to see someone saying that they think RS is friendly, and that it's not all bad. To stand up for F2P too, I've met plenty of nice F2Pers, I hate the stereotype that every single one is a "noob" and not worth the high-and-mighty time of the members. I liked the second article, it was happy. :)
  2. Maybe not metalcore then, I've never been the best at defining music genres. But after listening to some more tracks from it, I can't call it power... And I can also say I don't particularly like it, it's just meh...
  3. He actually said he wants to hold a referendum on it when it would benefit our economy to change to it, and I think he might have withdrawn that now. I'm not sure...
  4. Well, one of the major flaws of the Tory's cap is that 80% (I think that's what Clegg said) of Britain's immigration is from the EU, and therefore we MUST accept that 80%. So Cameron's cap will not even affect 3/4 immigrants coming in to Britain, however Clegg will try to spread out the current immigrants and future immigrants via regional system, whislt also tightening border control to stop more illegals. Well, couldn't you guys just pull out of the EU? I honestly don't see what the benefit of the European Union is to the United Kingdom anyway. They just want to mix every culture together into one 'European' identity. It's better for you guys to pull out why you can and maintain your sovereignty... and your dignity. http://library.thinkquest.org/19110/english/advantag/advantag.html A brief, fairly good outline of the advantages and disadvantages of being a member of the EU. I personally think it's worth it, and is in the government's best interests. Anyway, none of the main 3 parties are for withdrawing, the Tories are probably the most critical of the EU, following truely in Thatcher's footsteps. But the problem with complete anti-EU parties, such as UKIP is that they have unreasonable policies in other areas and would most likely destroy the country, through lack of experience and bad policies. We are pretty much staying in the EU as far as I can see, and I agree with that, as do most people I know. Then again, the people I know hardly represent Britain very well. ;)

  6. The Guardian is the family paper in my house, none other is bought ^^ We rely on it to pass by the Saturday mornings ;) It's just sensible and makes sense.

    Diabetes

Avoid carbs, and don't eat sugar. Period. Not looking so great for me either, until you start to examine the fact that diet has as much, if not more of an effect on people that genetics. Actually genetics is a greater factor for me, I didn't develop pancreatitis through drinking too much as a 5 year old I think, it was nearly considered that my pancreas was removed anyway, so yeah. I'm alright for now, I just have to be careful as hell with what I eat. I suppose that your doctor is advising a low-fat diet? Hah, you bet. Fat is the thing that causes the pain basically. It's been subdued though for the past 2 years, since my second operation for it. I just have to be sensible. Although too much alcohol also triggers it.
  8. I dreamt that I woke up and one of the angels from Doctor Who was over me with the >:} face on. Then I woke up properly...?
  9. Guild Wars, oh that brings back memories. That was my most loved game for so long. You've just reminded me of it and GW2. GW2 will be brilliant. =)

    Today...

Hey one of my friends does that too! :D Today at my school three kids left their classes, then went out to smoke weed behind this house that is part of the campus and between the main road and the teacher parking lot. So they're out there lighting up, when the art teacher has to go out to her car to get something. One guy bolted when he saw her, the other two were too stoned to run apparently, or didn't think to. And now they have a 2 week suspension. Jesus, people are stupid. Only a 2 week suspension for smoking weed at school. O.O You'd be expelled immediately for that at my school...
  11. The Lib Dem position on immigration definitely makes the most sense, to me at least. In fact, the Lib Dems in general do. Labour were good, but they've had their time in my opinion, they've had their chance and the voters won't want them back in, even though I thought Gordon Brown gave the strongest performance last night, with Cameron and Clegg on equal footing, although I think Cameron would've appealed more to the country as a whole last night. Gordon Brown put up a strong offensive on Cameron, attacking him consistently, but I think that was the wrong tactic. Yes, he needed to highlight the negatives of the Tory policy, and to mention the ridiculous inheritance tax cut, but, I hate agreeing with Cameron, he was... how can I put it, scaremongering a bit. Cameron I think would destroy the UK's economy, his emergency budget, if he gets into power, will, to what I make of it, put us back into a double dip recession. Labour makes the most sense to me economically, but I simply don't trust them, as I feel that the Lib Dems couldn't be trusted with power at the moment. But seeing as I can't vote yet, I suppose I shouldn't read into all their policies so much. But politics really interests me, and I believe that the Conservatives, would once again "destroy" England. It may be to do with my upbringing from quite a stubborn Labour/Lib Dem family, but I simply don't like their policies, or Cameron. Cameron is slimey. If I could vote, I'd go Lib Dem, despite being in a Conservative stronghold. I hate hearing people on the news saying their vote doesn't matter, but it does. Every vote matters. Also, does anyone know which, if any, of the main parties have any plans to reduce the voting age to 16?

    Cars

Parents have just bought a Honda Stream >.> And we have a Fiat Panda. Snazzy, 'eh?
  13. Oooohhhh, I want to try this ^^ Although I'm slightly worried about nightmares etc. :s But I love the idea of being aware of a dream and being able to, to an extent, control it. It always reminds me of a Calvin and Hobbes strip where they are playing all day, various activities and generally having fun. When they go to bed they say 'See you in my dreams', and the last box is them asleep, smiling. I love that strip. :)
  14. A tiny sun? *facedesk* Oh dear, that's dumbing it down A LOT! And not even dumbing it down particularly accurately... But I think fusion is worth investing in, we just need to be able to make it profitable and to be able to control it safely. It seems to me to be a brilliant solution, the Holy Grail you might say, of energy.
  15. Us RSer's aren't THAT simple. ;) (And Attack icon bring back any memories?)
  16. Enjoyed the article and I do hope that Dungeoneering will have more practical uses outside Daemonheim. In quests, new areas or simply a D'n'D where, say 5, random dungeons are created across the world, with a set number of floors and rewards such as a new costume (e.g. statless Primal armour), tokens or experience in other random skills when the boss (perhaps the boss it is, is unique to the region the dungeon is in, e.g. a Grindelwald type creature in Fremmenik) at the end is killed... That went on for longer than expected!
  17. In my opinion of recent updates etc., I'd say it will go "up" for 1 or 2 years and then decline over 3 or 4 years. I'm doubting another 10 years.

  19. Wordsmith Good luck I still say ruby dragons Bad Orgy Urn? EDIT: It's obviously an anagram for: A Dry Bog Run, the name of the next Myreque quest. A Dry Bog Run? Oh dear I'm still laughing....*imagines the quest*
  20. I think this is a riddle or anagram of some sort, it seems too straight forward to simply be a ruby dragon, graphical update or a new boss...
