It depends on the topic really. Religion debates--no thanks, but I enjoy a good debate on a serious topic. Sometimes people take it really personally when you disagree with them which sucks and that's usually when I depart from posting in that topic.

I'm completely illiterate when it comes to Java, but I wonder...would raising the max cash or max xp cap have any repercussions that are non-market related? What I mean is, would it affect something in the code? Is it as easy as changing the numbers? Or at this point is the game too advanced and are the caps too ingrained to be changed?

I played a lot of BC2 before my disk went unreadable (360) and Live subscription rates jumped. Obviously there are significant advantages to unlocking better weapons, but the learning curve isn't too bad. You can definitely compete with the lower grade weapons. That was a big part of the counterargument article I posted. Basically they took all the lyrics and plugged them into a computer program that analyzed them. Whether or not the results are in context or not, there is a definitely a trend. I've always thought the whole "i" deal (iTunes, iPod, myTouch phones, etc.) was on the rise. It's a great marketing technique. Sell the same product to everyone, but market it as individualistic. Don Draper would be proud :lol:

Not really. If you looked into the actual study you would know that they used control groups from every genre.

I hope that people aren't taking this as narcissism=bad music. Narcissism certainly doesn't imply the music "sucks". It just proves that the artists (or producers) who write lyrics are more centered on themselves than in previous generations.

I grew up in WI very near the WI/MN border. I go to a university in MN and come home to work during the summer.

I was very much in love with my girlfriend of multiple years and we tried to do a long-distance relationship when I moved to college. It sucked and I will never do it again. A healthy relationship cannot be maintained through a phone or a computer.
