I didn't know people still watched this show.

You walk up, they say your name, hand you a frame, and you shake some guys hand. Rinse and repeat about 900 times and you'll have my graduation next year. It's going to take forever... My graduating class was 95 :lol: We had about 425 kids in our entire school.

I went to liquor store and bought two cases of Red Dog to drink my cynicism away. Now I'm feeling muuuuuch better :thumbsup: How's that for elaboration?

It seems to me that some people were put on this earth to do nothing more than use other people for their own benefit. I don't think I will ever be able to understand how or why anyone could act like that. Today was very cynical for me. I despise these days but sometimes they're just unavoidable :wall: Oh well, off to the liquor store.

It would seem to me that something like that would require a Jagex program to access your computer. Am I right?

In WI you can't have more than one non-family member in the car for one year after getting your license (probationary license). Also, you can't drive past 12AM unless it's for work/school/etc. After the year is up, you get a new license which is your official license. It's not that big of a deal, no one really follows it anyways. The logical thing to do--while breaking the law, of course--is don't get pulled over.

Has anyone seen Soungarden lately? They're one of my favorite grunge acts AND THEY'RE TOURING WITH THE MARS VOLTA this summer---clearly another of my favorite groups as you can tell by the caps. They've got a show I want to go to July 17th. The only thing is I'd have to drive from (essentially) the Twin Cities to Chicago for the show. Is it worth it?

I completely agree with you and I (along with the rest of the EP, I hope) always welcome constructive criticism. Our editing and articles shouldn't be seen as infallible. That being said, keep in mind this was a guest article not written by a member of the EP. Guest articles are submitted "as-is" and only a certain amount of editing can occur. There is no interactive way to provide feedback to the author on short notice whereas EP members have a forum which allows for immediate feedback from the editor. I do agree that the author's argument was a bit weak, but crucifying a guest article, in my opinion, does nothing more than scare off potential contributors. And that is certainly something we do not want to encourage. Thanks for a well thought-out post ;-)
