  1. And then oops a very small percentage of the population owns a massive percentage of the money and the desire for money has corrupted humans absolutely.
  2. I was not nitpicking anything about the articles. I was poking fun at the person who said there was nothing grammatically or stylisticly wrong with Racheya's article and made one of the most glaring mistakes in writing in the process haha. Honestly, I liked your article even though I don't typically read many of them anymore.
  3. The only way you should buy a DFS for Slayer is if you have a really big cashpile and it won't make much of a dent in it. Don't break your bank buying gear because you're going to make it back quick enough. Buy gear with your profits.
  4. Absolutely don't do sharks. I did Monks until 99, but that was long before Rocktails were introduced to Runescape.
  5. But can't it be said that the time you spend getting brawlers or whatever means you are using to achieve an insane amount of xp/hr could have been spent on making money that you could put towards leveling up. The only factor here is time...money is just another means to an end.
  6. I personally saw nothing in the article to criticize her writing skills. Hahahahahaha. Okay seriously this was too easy, if you say "I" at the beginning of a sentence, you don't need to put "personally" before the verb you are using. When using first person we already know that whatever you say, see, etc. is going be yours. I personally believe you have no English skills ;)
  7. Try: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsGEFdfRlMY
  8. It's a shame because I think he's much more talented than both of those guitarists. I've been listening to Jeff Beck for ages, my Dad is a huge fan.
  9. Did you really just compare Mod MMG to Nixon? Umm...
  10. Agreed. This is great seeing lists on the front page again.
  11. Yes, it's a diuretic (Definition) as said earlier in the topic. Just don't break the seal and you'll be fine
  12. How about a compromise: violent sex? Maybe not.
  13. Or that music is infinitely more accessable than it was 30 years ago when metal first caught on, giving smaller, unheard of metal bands the chance to shine, and even bigger metal bands the chance to make it on a lot larger scale. With all the subgenres of metal out there now, "metal" is the mindset and whichever style you choose to play is your genre. Or at least that's what I've drawn from it. I usually look at things a little differently than most though.
  14. There's no way he could have possibly known about all of that. Even if he had an inkling of what might be coming, there's no way he could put the all pieces together and react to each one perfectly. He was just in the right place at the right time and knows how the market works.
  15. Yeaaaahhhhh right. You only say that now that you've posted it ;)
  16. The Volta can be hit or miss and a lot of times miss. I know friends of mine that saw them around 2003-04 when De-Loused came out and they were touring with the Chili Peppers and they sucked live. Now, I've seen them twice and they were awesome both times. It just depends on when and where you saw them because if they don't like what is going on at the venue, they're going to suck. But yeah, great list dude. Haven't heard of a good chunk of these albums and I've been looking for new stuff.
  17. Brilliant. Hopefully the traditional view of who should be in politics continues to crumble.
  18. Best part of a poorly written, overly-wordy, and haphazardly structured article. Seriously, the article sucked but I absolutely loved some of the points and clever jabs the author threw in. This quote could not be any truer; viewers of movies and television seem to have lost their ability to think about what they are watching and need the punch-line explained to them with nudity and sex. It can't be left to the imagination, which is a shame. Sex and nudity in films *typically* takes away from the film in my opinion.
  19. Yeah, exactly. There are so many bands that have been inspired by The Who's vivacious rock style. Of course they didn't make as big of an impact as The Beatles, but there are many other bands who caused music to evolve. Black Sabbath is another one. Maybe inspired, but surely not influenced musically and artistically. That is a huge difference.
  20. No. The Who did nothing to influence and change music compared to the Beatles (even though I hate the Beatles). They're awesome and I love them, but The Who just played rock 'n' roll. While the Beatles were introspecting and becoming better artists, The Who was busy smashing their guitars and destroying their equipment.
  21. I don't use last.fm, but wtf? How is there a better way to find music, efficiency aside? I guess to be fair there isn't anything wrong with using last.fm but to me it just feels like cheating. Every artist is spoon fed to you by your previous selections of music. It's like "Hey, you like this band, well you MUST like this band." Last.fm is good if you just want to listen to the same sounding stuff over and over again. For me, I look up artists on Wikipedia to see who they collaborated with, who their producer was, who else that producer has produced, and maybe I'll find a new artist that I like. I guess I just find music my own convoluted way.
