Absolutely, musicians don't make as much off an album as you might think. They make money off touring. I go to concerts, pay them well worth their while and download their music.

For me it's not really that they're "cute". Hell I don't care if they kill a bunny or a fawn. Those are both cute animals, but I'm not emotionally tied to them. I hate when they kill a dog because I've grown up with a dog as one of my best friends for my entire life. I hate when they kill dogs because in reality, dogs have personality, they love their owners and for the most part, that love is returned to the dog. There's a reason they're referred to as "man's best friend". For those reasons I hate when dogs are killed in movies, not because they're "cute".

I'm with you on about 10 of those albums, the rest are just "meh" for me. But then again, albums that influence people are completely subjective. Thanks for making a list :thumbup:

First semester this year I would drink Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I'd let a bottle of whatever last me that long. This semester I cut back a lot and have only drank probably 4 times but I smoke almost every night. Lost interest in drinking. But since pot is expensive and St. Cloud has been pretty dry lately for good stuff, I drink with my friends. I spend a lot of my money on pot and I don't feel like spending $20+ on a bottle or $15+ on a case. I can buy $6 worth of 40's and feel just the same as everyone else. Never said I liked the taste of it or enjoyed it one bit. I'm not an alcoholic, just spending my money wisely ;) Believe me, if I could buy expensive beer and bottles of Johnny Walker, I would be doing it haha.

When you're in college and you need to get hammered, there's no reason to get picky about your beer. It's all the same alcohol content (unless you're drinking Steel Reserve 40's). My friends and I are almost out of money now so we just buy a couple 40's and it gets you trashed for only $6.

Vodka and Jones Foo-Foo Berry Soda is amazing. I try to shy away from vodka mixed drinks because I got alcohol poisoning over Christmas break at a party at my house the last time I had Vodka. A whole liter of Vodka in Screwdrivers in under an hour. Not a good night. I had a .38 BAC. Lately I've just been drinking beer. I do like Johnny Walker and water though.

I cried like a baby the first time I saw that. It still makes me cry every time I see it including last night. I don't even care that half the movie is American propaganda about the Vietnam War, it has a deeper message than that. War movies always make me cry. And I love how it never tells you. That is one of my sister's favourite movies... Definitely one of my favorite movies. I was more sad when Ken was climbing to the top of that tower.

Yeah and in some cases it's even an actual class you can take. They replaced things like...actual learning in schools with classes like that. That being said, I had to take this class Senior year because of schedule conflicts. I hated it, but I lifted my [wagon] off to get an A. Never really got into lifting during hockey even though I was a big dude (6'4" 220) because it affected my tennis. I put up about 230 for Bench, never bothered with squats since skating for 14 years gives you strong enough legs.

I was hoping no one else would pick up on it. Gotta love George.

Yeah, because everything that has ever happened in history has been determined by a war and when there was a war, the loser was obviously completely eradicated along with all their histories. Maybe in lower level history classes but in college level courses, history is quite subjective. The only bias comes from which author writes it or which edition it is.

This has nothing to do with who wins wars or who loses them, rather that American propaganda and nationalism is shoved down our throats from an early age.
