  1. I like the new way, especially "rewards based on total skill level part". I get 2 randoms a day at most, while earlier I could predict when would I get them (e.g. trying to tele). I believe it is better to get less randoms with an ability to choose the reward instead of many randoms giving out inv slot wasting rewards...
  2. I LOVE THAT! That way Jagex earns cash and we get back! Jagex should do this!   It would have to work that if you were online and it crossed 12pm GMT (assumingly that time zone) it would count as the next day or you would get people keeping their accounts logged in indefinately. It would be interesting to see if Jagex would consider that sort of business model though. I've found it very useful. I can just stop playing and then go back months later and still have the same amount of credit I left with. After 6 hours uptime you are kicked out automatically.
  3. This is a server side bug. That means, the problem lies with Jagex, so whatever browser you're using isn't relevant. It's not a glitch in Java by the way. Java is the programming language in which Runescape is built. The problem lies within how Jagex applied the code. Obviously they made a silly mistake somewhere, making a certain character able to crash the game. Have you tried reading the topic??! It was clearly stated this but is DEFINETLY NOT server-side. Second, yes, it's NOT with Java as a programming language. If lots of idiots weren't talking that "runescape client & server are written in runescript blah blah i suck [rooster] for gays", then I would say don't obfuscate and run the applet with java debugger, because java w source is sooo much easier to debug than c++ w source. But now the code is NOT what is actually run in the applet, so I imagine they need a thorough investigation first.
  4. First of all, HTML and XML aren't programming languages. Don't mess them up. Secondly, while Javascript and Python are debated to be scripting languages, there's nothing wrong about calling them programming languages. And concerning learning I would recommend Python and .NET. It's just so plain easy to do any program in .NET if you don't care that it will be sctrictly limited to windows and may not be as fast as written in c and c++ and even c#. If you are going to learn a c-type language, take c or/and c++. Don't bother with c# unless you know it's absolutely worth it. PHP is also a good choice, because you will need it, even if it looks like everyone knows it. It's also a very easy language to code.

  7. Already have the banner, will test the other two soon.
  8. Frog token gift boxes (ALL): 520 coins OR 26 water runes OR 4 sweetcorn seed OR 2 gold charms OR mystery box OR 1 costume point Took 20 GC... Nothing better IMO. Anyways, if you haven't noticed, since the update you can no longer appeal an offense (404 error)
  9. So at first I wuzz liek "Time to buy that black mask and finish my dagannoth task; anyways the price dropped while I was banned". Then I finished it and wuzz liek "Ok, gonna farm slayer pts with mazchna/duradel combo." Mazchna gave me rockslugs; finished. Then Mazchna gave me Hill Giants. 2nd kill = long bone. After several kills... [hide=Champion scroll] [/hide] After several more kills... [hide=Champion scroll] Banking them: [/hide] I had the first one IN my inventory. Those scroll are cumulative, they drop no matter what (if you're lucky). I also got a 3rd one in the same task (no RoW used), so here it is: [hide=3 Giant Champion scrolls banked][/hide] Rate or Hate, your choice. I guess i'll just use up the other two for superfast&easy 280 slayer xp/kill.

  11. Yes I was doing yew longs a bit earlier... I guess that's gonna do then. Thanks for advice. Maybe any better solutions? If not, I'm going to use fletch+alch method.
  12. Hello everyone, Since I'm not yet allowed back into the game I have a question for you. At the moment I have 75 magic and I'm aiming for 86. I expect to lose, but I wouldn't want to lose a lot per cast. 1) Humidify is out of question as it is slow. 2) What about high alchemy? Is it possible to lose 120 or less gp per cast with mass-buyable items? Last time I checked it was absolutely impossible, thus making the alchemy too slow to reasonably use. 3) Would ice bursting rock lobs be worth it? And what is the exact location to do it? 4) Air strike building up potential - waste of time? Any other ideas? Take note my magic level is only 75!

I assume you are using whip or a scimitar. Did you know they are the worst (except cheap ranged) weapons to use in sw? Look on the bright side: I am lvl 95, more or less balanced. Without anchor I never hit anyone except lvl 60s. I wouldn't be able to kill a lvl 60 in meelee armor with a whip, only a less than lvl 60 ranger with red dhide. Forget about whip, it's never gonna work. D mace is NOT better to use, because while it manages to hit it is far too slow and too weak. So you can either use dds spec + anchor or anchor with it's spec (consumes 50%). Still, the spec is extremely inaccurate so I would recommend dds. it might look that the anchor sucks at first, but it's the ultimate tool if you don't want/can't buy a gs. (I've hit 24-21 on this lvl 113 once) anchor is alot more consistent in hitting your opponent than slash weaps, and it hits hard enough.
  14. RTS = Cossacks 1 + add-ons (because it outmatched the older AoE (1 and 2) series) Sandbox RTS = Caesar 3, Zeus (Pharaoh was a failed clone tbh) RPG = Might and Magic 3, 4+5!! TBS = HoMM (while it was developed by 3DO and NWC. When Nival took over the series started to suck) FPS = Counter-Strike, though Q2 was good aswell Racing = NFS2 [fully arcade] and NFS5 [at least some simulation] ...
  15. For rule 7 there is almost always no evidence because they have none that they put except "We think you were autoing" Yes, I have thought that they might just not show any evidence for this special rule, they have noted why. But still, I last used mousekeys ages ago. Can you kickban someone just because he has public chat on but doesn't respond? I don't think so. That leaves us at Denial of account review + a kickban for 10 days at the same day.
