I completely agree. If someone is ready to spend insane amounts of money just to get the fastest xp, it's their choice.

SC 5 items are correctly placed in Class A SC 4 items should NOT go in Class A, since they match class B description; SC 3 should be downgraded to Class C, and both SC 1/2 should go in Class D P.S. I know since when SC came out I had 40+ skills and now I have 60+ skills. SC 4 is just not as good to qualify for A.

Even though the most autotalkers (except specially crafted ones) are easy to detect, only an extremely little part of them receive punishment. And I agree with everything you are saying, auto-talkers should not be tolerated, as stated in the rules.

I've given an example stating how to get banned by using mousekeys, even though you would be constantly showing off you're a human by re-buying/perhaps withdrawing/depositing alchable stuff. Try it, and you will get proof that noone gives a [bleep] cares about legitimate playing. They don't like the point that you play too much and do alching for too long, so they ban you just in case (because you were using the most efficient method instead of acting like a noob using the mouse, while all you need to do is continously click) (before this announcement news item that would be a temp 10 day ban and you would still have been in green zone). Go on, try if you dare.

That stuff about a true macroer caught alching was the point I wanted (he was caught because of an absolute lack of randomness in his actions). Now look: You position your mouse on the alch spell icon, and make sure that the item is directly "below" the icon in inventory. You unplug the mouse (because optical ones tend to sometimes start moving up), and just repeatedly keep pressing key 5. Try alching 3k-10k items (absolutely irrelevant if you alch 500-2k, then plug the mouse and re-buy) that way. I'm CERTAIN you will get banned. Why am I so certain? Let's make a simple application. Use SecureRandom to generate a seed for a RNG (to have some more randomness), and java.awt.Robot to: 1) Push the lmb 2) Wait some time (ORHLI)* + random delay equal to ~0-0.6x the * - "original reasonable human-like interval" 3) Release the lmb 4) ?Wait again? 1. If they don't ban mousekeys, they fail at detecting such simple macros; 2. If they ban such macros, they ban everyone (or the majority) of mousekey users. So am I wrong? P. S. The 0-0.6x coef might be wrong, never tried this, a research should be made first to ensure as much human-[using mousekeys]-like interaction as possible. P. P. S. The bs about most macroers using edited clients was true in RSC, but most macroers in RS2 use the official one.

That's because some JMods look after the true autoers, like that guy (the thread was up on tip it for a few hours, then it was removed) who managed to auto to 99 crafting + get other skills in 80s, even being warned for macroing over 13 times (there was a screenshot showing all the warnings)! Sorry, but for me this news item looks like an excuse to ban both innocent and macroing people without any investigation (except the automated detection system) for "Greater Good". And this proves that jagex fully understands what they are doing (that they will most likely ban some innocent people permanently), while some of the veteran macroers will (as always) get away with a 10 day ban.

Normally you don't get "Connection lost" after you are kickbanned (looks like a fake): when an invisible JMod kickbanned me while fletching (just a few months ago) it was like "waiting for make X to finish -> BAM = login screen -> trying to login -> account suspended" (I was playing (as in sitting on a chair, clicking mouse, and looking @ the monitor)). I am very certain that since the macro system was updated they will ban a lot of people using mousekeys and only 'round half of them will be able to prove their innocence. Oh, and everyone knows that public macro scripts are bad, because they are public. Even half-open macro scripts are bad, because you are not the only one who is able to view/analyze them. P. S. Anyway, that JMod has a nice outfit.

The point with the IQ has nothing to do with your story, I'm afraid. You are forgeting that average RS pure pker has at very least 6h/day they are willing to waste by wasting food, potions (sometimes even a few mil worth items) and chasing others around in pvp worlds. Oh and they are convinced that makes them get a huge profit (total bs imho). So unless you can spend at very least 12h/day pking, you will always end feeling you lost alot time and also lost a fortune in gp.

Ok guys, you went too deep into details. As I've written, that guy paid for a(n already) permabanned account. If you do not read the rules doesn't mean you don't have to abide them. If you wanna go "omg idiot he was unbanned", go and read my reply on page 2. To summarize once again: 1. He will not win a court case 2. He will not get his money back 3. He will have to pay up for the court That is obvious as if set in stone.

Actually Jagex clearly states that once you got permanently banned for macroing, you will not get unbanned. Everyone who read the rules at least twice knows that, and everyone that has a macro-or-related permabanned account knows that even if you submit 20 appeals during different time periods, they all will be denied (that's why I'm not even trying to use the newly issued appeal chance). So lets summarize up: They knew they will not get unbanned. They paid for a permabanned account. Sorry, but I can see only their fault here.

don't forget that in the rules they state that if you are permabanned for honour stuff, you will never succeed appealing.
