If Duradel gave more variety in tasks, instead of giving me heaps of black, iron and steel drags, I don't think I'd mind anything but black demons. I haven't done the quest for Warped terros though.

Tell me: why is this bad? Don't say "because the innocent user gets screwed": this is simply untrue: any user should READ before they play a game: know what you're doing and don't just start diong stuff without any good research! And anyone who knows what's going on can use it for their benefits! (just an easy note: the "realistic" price -the price you would have without manipulation/speculation- is around the average price for such items. Manipulators don't affect the market in long term, so the price WILL come down someday. And since runescape is complete tertiaire/quartaire economy, nobody actually NEEDS to get something to survive/get a good living, there is no point in getting something very soon: you could just wait till the price starts dropping below it's average price again! So there it's said: now what's the problem with manipulators? Are you delusional? Have you not noticed people have lost quite a bit of money on the August crash? I don't want to buy a BGS planning on selling it soon and having to wait 2 weeks because there are people messing up the prices.

I find if funny how someone who got lower overall and cmb level currently than I had in RSC uses that arguement. The fact is that the game gets easier all the time due updates and I find it pretty ironic how someone who hasn't even achieved anything yet is saying how "we old" are suffering from this "new" thing. I don't know when exactly but at the time, he would have played for a smaller amount of time than you (RSC: 3 years and 3 months I believe, you, 3 years and 6 months). And chances are he didn't start on the first day of RS.

Because I don't want to. I'm pretty confident PDN can get to Gimp's level eventually. I'd rather be finding techniques and helping PDN expand - albeit with mildly worse results - than getting good results with Gimp. Heck, Gimp doesn't have Shape3D, it crashes all the time, it's cluttered and annoying to navigate. I'm pretty confident I can find a work around to most of what Gimp has in PDN. Don't bother trying, just get back to the tag please. :)

They probably won't make the level cap higher in the near future, but eventually, too many people will be maxed. Either: -They make the cap higher -They make it take more EXP for level 99, and lower the levels needed for things proportionally.

Which is where the naive newbies in A C I D Y come in. The really rich buy out, then they tell everyone in A C I D Y to buy out the same item. They sell their items through the GE to people who thought they were going to rise back up, and they make loads of cash on their backs.

It wasn't fun it was annoying, i'd rather have the stuff instantly. Completely agree with Skully here, I've been annoyed way too much because of items that were annoying to get. but thats what made it more rewarding. spending a measly 5min to get some item like rope or a spade. when g/e wasnt there, ud have to walk to it. and that in itself was a mini adventure and was fun And no one stops you from doing it anymore ;)

How can you call it speculation? Forcing a price up is manipulation. Speculation is when you buy an item that you suppose is going to raise in price, due to an update for example, not by players forcing it up. The reason why it's bad as well, is that we can't buy a BGS with the intention of selling it later because the risk of it being dumped at the time is too high.

What's the point of making money if you can't play RS?

It's much better now, although at 45 seconds it gets a bit fast. Is it possible to make it slow down a bit?
