in game realistic. yes. real life realistic? no. When 4 minutes equals a day, it's pretty damn impossible to launch a simultaneous counter attack. Had I been online, I would have made my action the second Findenland declared war. But I wasn't. And I don't think it's possible to coordinate missle attacks down to the ingame second, because that would require real life coordination down to the second as well. And let's face it, that won't happen. I'll be satisfied if a few make it though. Some>none.

True, but EMP's and viruses are both airborne based weapons. Shooting them down ony makes them more effective (although they may miss their primary targets). That ontop of the fact that Germania never covered the African region with the shield. Oh! and that hundreds were shot at Germania in succsesion (not just mine were launched afterall) and I find it tough to believe that the sheild could nknock down all 100% of the ICBMs. Something had to be hit.

I delebirately aimed all bio-weapons away from anyone friendly toward you and yourself.(why the hell would I want to piss my savior off?) So unless you happened to have a ton of citizens in the middle of a warzone, you're fine.

to be fair, I've been producing weapons for him(Britannia) since the end of WWIII, it's not that impossibe... Also, 100 LAARTs have been dispatched to the temporary control of Latino king to fend off the African front of the war. Luxembourg launches dozens of ICBMs (which I've also had since the end of WWIII expecting to become extinct). These ICBMs include vastly large EMPs and theothers contain the old Bulgarian virus. All of which of course are aimed in the vicinity of Germania, but away from Norway, Brazil and other ally's standpoints. For the sake of argument they hit North Africa and chunks of Iberian Peninsula.

TerrAvenger is making huge progress thanks to the help of a number of countries and the fact that Haven implies faster research :D (maybe it could help with thte new player problem, we could give a new player a different version of the TerrAvenger and have them hover around Earth...or something) Cloning continues as normal, [insert more infrastructural boring talk here] Luxembourg is upset with the actions of South Africa. I thank you for your generosity! If only other nations would pitch in... That was seriously a lot of money to dump into an international project though. I'm sure it'd be possible if every Haven nation donated like 75bil. Just add water (and wait like a decade) and presto! instant super ship! (besides we still have to pay for producing these bad boys)

I used to feel the same way. But then I questioned it. I asked what the big deal was. Then I came to the conclusion that there's really no harm in it, and that it was perfectly fine. Later I realised the only reason why I ever thought it was wrong was because everyone around me thought it was wrong. Basically I only didn't like it because everyone else didn't like it. And that is no reason to feel that way about anything. Homosexuality is fine in my book :thumbup:

Within my whole country I have almost 100 million people (around 86 million to be more exact). If I had to, I could recruit around 80 million of them into service. If you don't remember, with in my first year of office I made basic military knowledge and training completely mandatory. Most of my 20 million army is in reserves, so I don't have to pay too much. I have around 1 million active. I only intend on using around 5 million, hopefully not that many casualties though. If it makes you happy, I will reduce the number to 10 million. My gdp has always been low because of my mandatory military stuff, but I got a lot more from my Baltic states and the tolls for my bridge. Last time I calculated my gdp I was saddened by the low number, but we have plenty to get by. We sold the plans for the CN1, so we earned a few hundred billion off that deal. That money has since been exhausted, but it got us started in foreign trade, which boomed, and put us in a better position, but still not good. We managed to get a single verde soylante seed before most of them died, so we have many green houses in Helsinki, Terku, and Stockholm to feed around 30 million people for very little. Parts of Lapland are able to grow crops due to the experiments on Haven, so we should have enough to get by. Also, Finden scientists have altered H1N1 into a very deadly virus. It may or may not end up in shipments to Germania. They have also developed a prototype for the worlds first light saber. Lightsabers are about as possible as multi-matter teleportation. Not gonna happen. We can't just make energy into a sword, it's not possible. And don't call me out on "realism" because we need to keep some ties to the laws of physics. Also, if your population is 86mil and you're recruiting 80mil into your army, does that mean you're giving toddlers and infants hand grenades and throwing them into the front lines? Not that all of that hasn't been resolved anyway... Luxembourg has established more cloning fascilities and a department of conditioning, to ensure that the people will serve their respective purposes to the fullest extent. Project TerrAvenger will continnue, however little money is being sent to it. I shouldn't have to do it myself if it's an international project. There was never a rule against biological warfare, so like it or not it's still legal. I'm sure more than one country has a few virus infused weapons up their sleaves. Alpha human production has increased in favor of Beta production. Someday I'll profit from my cloning proscess, turing my country into that of Kamino (sort of). This is not open to the public yet, but someday hopefully in the near future.

Luxembourg would like to announce a new Haven project - the TerrAvenger! This will be a huge project for international benefit. It's going to be a space station more or less, but self sustaining. Kind of like the colony ship, only bigger. It gets sent up, we put some colonizers on it and we send it on it's merry way. maybe we'll hear back from it, maybe we won't. But think of the possibilities: Aliens? More habitable planets? New technology? Super human evolution? Opinions?

Well yes...but so is the Philipines technically. I was thinking more along the lines of statehood. Point being is that diplomatically, more than one country per year is pretty rediculous.

I'd vote yes on that propostion. 3 countries in a year is pretty obscene (especially cause its been decades and Puerto Rico won't even join the US irl)

With all of these internal changes, Luxembourg feels ready to help out certain nations productionally. My country is now dedicated to 1) populating through cloning 2) producing anything required to allies 3) diplomatic relations 4) maintaining internal order 5) researching extreme technology (Haven or otherwise) Luxembourg raises their children as very proud low paid workers (almost in a drone state, aka Delta humans). Cheap labour is available. We've actually already made a few undisclosed deals with countries for production/research from years back. Currently all contract takers are busy, so services are already being syphoned to a certain country or two, but I feel it's nesesary to announce it publically even if it's not currently available to everyone.
