I'm loving the fact that there are so many people rating Linkin Park songs :D I love that band to death... unfortuantly i don't like "bleed it out" all that much 6/10 "Slip away" (original pre-realease edition) by Dry Cell here's teh link:

lol, i love those commercials, my friend got really drunk and stuff so he was hangin at my house when we saw that baby commercial for the PS3 (this was at 3 in the morning mind you) and he litterally pissed himself he was so scared. I laugh at him to this day for it :lol:

The song is called "Somewhere I belong" :lol: but Yes I agree, Linkin Park has much more lovers than haters

ROFL! that was a horrible example of their lyrics. Yes LP is gettng a bit mainstream, but I've been a fan of them since Hybrid theory EP (many moons ago) so i'm quite the loyal fanboy. Simply not liking something because its popular seems to be why Linkin Park is failing now adays...but like all LP fans, i really miss their old style. This softer sound is meh, but they used to know how to send chills down my spine with their intricate melodic layering and their MEANINGFUL lyrics. Yes i do think that their lyrics are meaningful. But not to their newer songs. But lets take a glance at some of their lyrics when they were in their prime: "She can't hide no matter how hard she tries Her secret disguised behind the lies And at night she cries away her pride With eyes shut tight Staring at her insides All her friends know why she can't sleep at night All her family asking if she's alright All she wants to do is get rid of this hell Well all shes gotta do is stop kidding herself She can only fool herself for so long" or... "Graffiti decorations under a sky of dust A constant wave of tension on top of broken trust The lessons that you taught me, I learned were never true Now I find myself in question, they point the finger at me again Guilty by association, you point the finger at me again I want to run away, never say good bye I want to know the truth instead of wondering why I want to know the answers, no more lies I want to shut the door and open up my mind" If you can't see the meaning behind those words, then you are truly blind.

:-k hmm, i had to think about this for a second, but virtually all rap lyrics are meaningless and stupid. Of course there are exceptions to this, but i know you know what i'm talking about. my contribution to this topic will be "Twist" by KoRn. Don't get me wrong, i love KoRn, but this song has absolutly no lyrical value.

3/10 if you hadn't explained it, it would have been lower...I just happen to like Ed Edd and Eddy

How can you be a metalhead by loving Linkin Park? I can be a metal head because i like metal. not cause i like Linkin Park. I don't generally consider Linkin Park as metal (especially after Minutes to Midnight) so thats why i pointed it out. wakka102: I agree, I miss their Nu-Metal sound very much...but their song "Behind your lies" (aka QWERTY) promises that they may be retracing their steps and regaining the loyalty of its original fanbase. I am a loyal fan, so I love whatever they pump out :lol:

I already made a Linkin Park thread some time ago. guess it died. . Linkin Park is my all time favorite band I have all but 2 of their albums (Xero sampler and hybrid theory EP) and I love evry secnond that they play. As for Minutes to Midnight...its easyily the worst album they have out right now, but its still rather good. I hope their next album has more songs like "faint" on it. But don't get me wrong, my favorite song of all time is "In the End" and second fave of all time being "Numb". so don't even try to call me out for being a biased metal head. bottom line: I LOVE Linkin Park!

hold both your arms in a door way for 30 seconds, applying as much pressure as possible on the back of your hands. If you do it right, your arms will raise with out your doing. :shock: lol, its quite fun

Aw I wanted to make this thread oh well. I love it, the only problem is the intro to alot of the songs are similiar (soft keyboard into harsh vocal). But all in all, i loved it. My fave 3 are 1. Unthinking Majority 2. Empty Walls 3. Feed Us

Well first off I'd like to give a big thanks to Yaff2 for hooking me up with some extremly helpful tutorials :D Now, as most of the TIF art community knows, I used MSpaint to do all my work. Well that is going to change. I got photoshop 7.0 a few days ago, and I someday wish to become as good as some of the people's whos sigs I see everyday.
