    If you're familiar with the "Birthday problem" in statistics, we can apply the same logic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birthday_problem Anyways, the chances that 2 effigies are exactly the same combination, even in a relatively small sample size, is much higher than expected. Even with just 80 effigies that have 4096 possibilities, we have a 54% chance that an effigy will be repeated. From the sample size of over 400 that Mithril collected, it would have been 1/billions of a chance that none stacked, which was the case.     Jagex should be very careful when taking action against people who used the botting software. I never used the client, but I'm sure plenty of people at least tried it out, had a second opinion on botting, and haven't substantially used it to improve their character. If they do end up banning accounts/IPs, they would lose a lot of loyal, paying members.

    It saves 13.3 hours each 100 events. Assuming you get 100k xp/event and 600k fm xp/hr when doing the pyrelord method. Where does 100k xp come from? That would require you to burn almost 250 logs, which is 9 yaks (assuming 27 logs in each). I haven't seen a vid of someone burning that many yet.

    At 137m dg xp (and 99 slay) I've seen 7 hexes, and assuming the 1/16-ish drop rate, that's like 1 hex per 20m xp and a gazer every 1.2m. Get a team with 4-5 99 slayers and you see one every few floors. Was a crappy rest of map so we figured to go ahead and end

    In the clan list on the RS main page, the source for the page defines the members status description as "Pro" or "ProStatus." <span class="proStatus"> <img alt="Pro" title="" src="http://www.runescape.com/img/global/myprofile/icon-pro.png"> </span> That struck me as a little bit odd. Also note the icon link: http://www.runescape.com/img/global/myprofile/icon-pro.png is the icon displayed for members - and it is named pro also. Now I'm wondering if they intend to, at some point create a tiered account system (probably with different payments),with a separate status introduced with some benefits but not all (high scores, more bank space, etc). Or will you be able to pay more for a higher status, with some experience benefits and access to more auras? Probably just some crazy thoughts of mine, but what do you think?     If glacors are actually considered a boss, that would be different. Nex drops are around 1/35 (we've been told it is on a rare wheel), corp drops are on a scale of 3's (1/50 ss, 1/150 elixir, 1/450 sigil wheel - 2:1 spec/arc:ely/div), TDs drop claws around 1/175, which isn't anywhere near a power of 2 Also, using a colon is not the same as using a slash. A colon denotes odds (the compared likelihood of event occuring vs not occuring), and a slash denotes the probability. So 2:1 odds are the same as a 2/3 probability. OT: If anybody wants to ask Heur/Ish from XPW, he has killed a few thousand and has good numbers - I just can't pull them off the top of my head.

    Massing isn't really the direction of monster hunting, though. Newer bosses are getting more anti-mass (Nex's healing on blood form/soul split), and most serious boss hunters wouldn't be willing to dedicate their time to an event that is really just a waste of time and valuable supplies. Maybe it's time to scrap or downsize the team as a whole.

    This only represents how much a member plays compared to a non-member. If you assume a member plays 3x as much as a nonmember, then suddenly the player base is almost evenly split member/free player.
