I think rares will either stop going up or dramatically slow. Previously, rares jumped as people were introduced to the game, and there were greatly more people than rares. Now, not so many people are being introduced to the game because most already have tried it, so the prices are much slower to rise. Take this estimation (in no way even close to real data) In 2004, say there were 60,000 santa hats and 600,000 people higher than level 50. That puts 1/10 of the even somewhat experienced players with a santa, making them pretty easy to obtain. (600k) In 2006, I would say there were about 20,000 santa hats and 8,000,000 people above level 50. that puts an estimated 40x price increase on santas (24m) Now, most people who play the game and are dealing with rares are above level 50. There is not much increase in people, only the slow decrease in santas through bannings and the such. I hope this made sense and wasn't too repetitive.

I think you are missing the point. Members do not take part in "f2p skills" such as mining and woodcutting mainly because the resources are not worth as much due to the fact that they are f2p. If f2p were to go, a greater amount of people would take part because prices would rise to a manageable amount. Here is a little math to show you why members don't do the mining for themselves. Abyss Crafting income (requires 44 runecraft and 60+ combatl) 5 hours x 1000 natures per hour x 300 gp per nature rune - 500,000 gp for pure ess = 1,000,000 gp Mining income (requires 60 mining for guild and fast banking) 5 hours x 300 coal per hour x 250 gp per coal = 375,000 gp P2P Fishing income (requires 76 fishing) 5 hours x 200 sharks per hour x 900 gp per shark = 900,000 gp F2P Fishing income (requires 40 fishing) 5 hours x 140 lobsters per hour x 250 gp per lobster = 350,000 gp Now thees are not fully precise, but you get the point. Increase the price of coal by 200 gp or so by getting rid of f2p, and wayyy more people would do it. I am NO WAY in favor of getting rid of f2p, but im not ready to say that p2pers are lazy and are only supported by the "backbone" of f2p, who seemingly does all the working as the p2pers merchant.

I believe that Runescape will become similar to the final fantasy games (which have been around for over 10 years) , but online. Instead of creating a new game, Jagex will just modify or do whatever to runescape, because it has been such a big hit.

5m... If you are gonna do it with those stats, either: In 2 weeks-Get 70 fletch and make yew longs In 5 days- Get 44 runecraft and abyss craft 25k nature runes. It isn't bad if you do 5k a night. Edit: I haven't personally made much myself through mage training arena, but with 62 mage, you could go for a couple infinity bottoms.

I believe jewelry teleports, at least the ring of life, can work up to level 30 wilderness.

I have gotten both a d med at fire giants and black mask at cave horrors, theyre around the same price I think. My group of 3 got a d chain yesterday at KQ, but the guy who got it betrayed us and didn't share.

Well, I got scammed a fury and decided to stop runecrafting and do something new. I bought veracs and went KQ'ing. I quickly found a good partner and also a tag-along who was in search of a chain for himself. Our third kill, we got a chain. The bad news: the tag-along panzy took the chain and didn't share.

I killed infernal mages with my friend. I used bones to peaches and he used guthans, and he is 12 cb levels higher than me. I was hitting much more and had a higher health all the time than him almost all the time (mainly because I was whipping and he had warspear).

With your stats, you can't call people noobs.

This is like the 10th favorite song topic in the past month. Autumn Voyage and Harmony are close for my favorites. Harmony just brings back the memories of mining and smithing bronze with my first RS friend, who I still hang out with from time to time.

From what it seems (hard to understand), you are an 8-12 year old pure who loves to get kills, but hates to die. FACE IT that 50% of the people in the wilderness die, so you will sometimes bite the dust. It is people like you who RUIN the wilderness. You complain of being pure and not owning, and let me tell you something buddy. Defense in in there to be trained, just as other stats are. Personal preference may lead you do not want defense of magic in order to be safer when fighting, but HOW can you slam someone who puts more effort into training more stats than you? Your complains are unjustified because you have no right to call someone not pure a noob. Maybe... they do things other than pk. Maybe they WANT to wear cool armor. Maybe they are a bit smarter than you and realize that they can bug people by wearing armor and tele-ing. If you want a non-tele, non-armor battle, beg your mommy for $5, go dueling, and face the wrath of pures everywhere, all looking to make millions (I never understood how everybody can make millions, and nobody believes they can lose). Basically, suck it up and stop complaining. Ok, my frustration is vented.

I am a bit tired of "favorite" whatever posts. Mine is Solus Dellegar, the full red-mystic star of the "Wanted" quest. I believe Solus would kill the wise old man, as long as he didn't get tired and weaken (infinite runes would fix that) Edit: Trojann2 referred to Solus in his post.
