  1. Hasn't been mentioned, but EE is also an option you can use to heal yourself when you play Barbarian Assault. It also has every attack option.
  2. Article #1 was meh. Why do we need two of each skill? Something that takes 15 weeks vs something that takes 30 weeks? Article #2 was also meh. Its true that a trip to most bosses require being strong in melee and not many bosses (if any) are weak to magic. But Runescape has a boss that requires specialization and teamwork. Its called the Penance Queen. I'm guessing that Jagex saw the lack of people playing Barbarian Assault and assumed that specialization like that was not the way to go.
  3. This is correct. I have a G5 as well, it is a good mouse indeed, and used a friends G500. It has an additional couple of buttons, and I a better look in my opinion. The scroll wheel is a little thicker, which would make it easier to use as an actual mouse button. The G5's mouse wheel is difficult to use as a button, comparatively. PS/2 is that purple circley thing. You've probably seen the USB -> PS/2 adapter multiple times. If you want to know what it looks like, just find an old public computer at a school or office and unplug it when no ones looking. Remember that PS/2 devices should be plugged in before powering on the computer, whereas USB devices can be plugged in whenever.
  4. I support the change, don't like the naming of Constitution. Here's Why: 1) We can now separate the difference between 'missing' on an attack and a very weak hit. -This INCREASES the usefulness of the defense skill and armor as you have to be more defensive to receive '0' damage. -This applies both ways, so more damage will be dealt total. 2) An increase in fidelity is ALWAYS a good thing. -It shows a willingness to change and a look at the currently established systems. Since the new way was deemed 'better' by those in power, we'll assume they liked it more. -Which means that they would be willing to look at other things that haven't kept up with the recent standard of updates. (Heritage from RSC) 3) Its cool to work with higher numbers, although I'd be the same if we would be hitting 0.1 instead. 4) Constitution is not a good name. -If I abbreviated a skill as 'Con,' would I be referring to the new Constitution or the classic Construction?
  5. Drop Log Thus Far: Spirit: 2 green (upon capture) 2 crimson charms (upon capture) 2 Steel Bars Zombie: 11 Big Bones 3 Wyvern Bones
  6. Funny, I couldn't stand plunder. I did blackjacking. Also watched TV while doing it.
  7. Hmm, this is always the tough question, 60-70 for agility. I would do wildy, might be helpful to get that penance horn if its really bad for you. Or if you feel daring, you could pot to 70+ for some of the high 60 levels and try ape atoll.
  8. You're stats are higher than mine when I did my last wyvern task. I took a whip, the shield, some mixed barrows armor. I brought along terrorbird(s) to store some food/bones. I used super attack and super strength along with protecting from melee and flashing piety. I was able to get a decent amount of kills per trip, but it was several trips, probably due to bringing trout as my food... I'm so cheap.
  9. its also the only roll which can loose you points for not doing things fast enough. and with that team setup every other roll is going to be getting there job done easily, so 2 of anything else is useless. And collector is without a doubt the easiest roll Not when I'm defender... But yeah, I see it happen to others. Nice guide by the way. I liked the monster counts, and the role strategies nicely summed up. I'll try them out sometime soon.
  10. I'd go Brimhaven. There isn't really anything in Etceteria other than the bush patch and you can just run from fairy ring. Whereas Brimhaven is near the Agility Arena, a fruit tree patch, and Brimhaven penguins are often right there.
  11. You just have to clean it to sell the whip again. Which can be done with a cleaning cloth type item.
  12. Kill a mithril dragon with no dragonbreath shield or potion. I don't wanna list all the shields and potions you can't use, but you get the idea.
  13. the runehq one sucks, use this one: http://www.rsbandb.com/house EDIT: And if you want house ideas, check peoples designs at the runescape wiki.
  14. I thought gnome advanced was faster than barbarian advanced in xp/hr. Either way, try them all, and do whichever one you think is the most fun.'Cuz, ya know, thats kinda why you play right?
  15. I tried playing RuneScape Classic again, an hated nearly every minute of it. My total level was back down to 555 from the 2071 its at now. Combat level was down from 120 to 40 something or 30 something. It took forever to get around, I could barely find any people, I had no items (all went to RS2), and all chat disappeared after a few seconds instead of lingering for me to read it. The only thing I actually liked was the blue dragons in the Taverley dungeon. I thought they looked pretty cool, not like I could get to them to fight them or anything, but yeah.
  16. For some quests, I think the really old ones that are F2P, you get different experience depending on your skill level. Would the game just hold the exp you would have gotten then despite you leveling up in the meantime? Would it be an all-or-nothing exp? or skill-by-skill exp? Can't really say I'm against this, although I have no issues with the current reward setup. I like pures complaining more about how they can't do quests instead of the rewards.
  17. Or it could be: the new skill is b...eing developed still? or begging, like i suggested a few years ago, this way all the noobs can ask npcs for free stuff and leave us real players alone
  18. 1) varrock --> smithing, staves, & chef's hat 2) karamja --> shilo tele 3) lumby --> tele, extra runes 4) seers --> free flax, EE, permanent light you don't even have to equip 5) relekka --> free lyre tele to help get to lunar magics, extra MTK approval 6) falador --> shield is kinda good for combat =\ havent finished an ardougne one yet. penguins tomorrow, and waiting for rest of plants to grow, looks good though with all the teles, might not wear accumulator anymore
  19. Yeah, if you really can't decide. Try 100 bones worth each way. Then you will realize that gilded altar >>>> ecto. Trust me, I used to be in your shoes.
  20. Perhaps it could be an achievement diary in Western Lands. Ardougne/Yanille/Elf lands. Would hopefully be a pretty epic diary, and definitely be a leg armor piece.
  21. Coconut Shrimp, by far, which is weird because I like every other way to prepare shrimp. Just that warm coconut....ewwww Similar thing for homemade, non-carbonated root beer. Real root beer is delicious.
  22. The total cost of this project was very little when compared to other projects. 79mil for LCROSS back in 1973, NASA spent over 100mil on Mariner 10 NASA gets very little money every year. In fact the Augustine committee just finished a study saying that NASA's budget is too small to achieve its goals. So if you want to complain about the costs of space exploration, tell the people who sell the fuel, cameras, antennas, thruster systems, thermal shielding, radiation shielding, launch vehicle, GNC systems, C&DH systems, and other instruments I guarantee you've never heard of, to sell them for cheaper. And don't forget to force the people watching the Space Debris, who make sure each satellite that enters an orbit doesn't hit something else, to work for free.
  23. Increased the size of the orrery in your POH to its former glory. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Very good, I like how you broke it down and carefully explained that it takes a lot of work and doesn't come easy. I would like some pictures and/or lists of software. But yeah, I really like the guide.
