  2. I think I crafted about 1200~1400 bracelets per hour at Edgeville. They were plain bracelets though so I did fewer trips than with gems. I assume you could enchant them much faster, but just do it for 5 hours and divide it by 5 to find the enchants per hour. #-o
  3. Theres a bunch here: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Categor ... ouse_plans Or you could go to a house party on W31 and just run around. I think that most of the designs on both of these are really bad though. The best design is always the one you come up with. And I think the planner ovorette mentioned is far better than the runehq one.
  4. If Duradel is lvl 197, how can he have an untrimmed slayer cape? OT: Not that I'm for it, but why is lvl 126 the max? Is it because of the 200m xp limit now? Whats keeping that from getting higher besides a new xp and highscores system?
  5. I blackjacked all the way. Didn't feel like running around as much in pp. Was able to watch a lot of videos while I trained at the expense of some xp/hr, but was still able to easily gain 1m+ xp a day. Maybe I was doing pp wrong, but I didn't like getting poisoned and damaged all the time. The enchanted excalibur special was nearly enough to keep me at full health at higher lvls during blackjacking.
  6. Basically people risk a ban for a little bit of mage exp... Does falling asleep behind the keyboard count as being Afk? I would be damn well pissed if i got banned because i suffer from narcolepsy. eCFIM;dghhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Sorry, fell asleep for a second there. Anyway you get the point? What if you get bored to the point of falling alseep while doing this? You either hope that you weren't near any kids who would report you, or plan to simply do this in an area with less traffic. I really don't see why those breaking the rules with this do it in such an open area. I asked a p mod this question when I was falling asleep while playing. He said its alright as long as it wasn't purposeful.
  7. On mage staffs, you can autocast two ways. One is setup to give you 4 mage xp/damage. The other way gives you 2 mage xp and 2 def xp/damage. Questions: 1) Will you hit harder per spell with one method or another? 2) Do you cast spells faster with one method or another? I tend to believe that you do hit the same and cast the same speed both ways. This is because you can still use the staff by selecting a spell then selecting the target. Also, nowhere does it say that the 2/2 xp split raises your defenses in combat. It just has a picture and changes your xp flow. Don't: say "I think its this way..." Do: Point me to evidence with your response. I haven't found any from Tip Its magic guide, Runescape's In-game tutorial, nor Runescape's own magic guide.
  8. Simple. Buy gold bars, make gold bracelets. You could craft ~1200 an hour I think. All necessary calculations can be made from this.
  9. I'll do the work for Jagex on this one. 10: Dibbs Potion Gives you exclusive rights to the next spawn of monster/resource. Combat level/required level of monster/resource must be 29 or less. Can only be used once every 3 minutes. My main frustration with slayer is that monsters don't spawn solely for you. Making us compete with other players for monsters just so we can finish a task without hopping worlds is annoying. Plus this makes people hate the other people slaying around them, I get so much hate for using a cannon on tasks. Slayer would have been insanely popular if they made it so monsters exclusively spawn for you if you are on task. The idea for this is that people who have a herblore level of around 10 generally have low combat levels and are forced to train on low leveled things. This is why I mentioned not only a level cap of 29, but a 3 minute break. Do you honestly train on anything that low leveled? 20: Wealth Potion Counts as a ring of wealth for a few minutes. ^ Ring of wealth is junk. A real ring of wealth or luck would be a good start. I am not interested in yours, or anyone's but mine, opinion on the ring of wealth. If you read Mod MMG's player question response, you would know he mentioned improvements to the ROW would be coming. Perhaps this could stack with the actual ring. 30: Ore Potion Cause an ore to spawn in a rock. Up through addy. 40: Tree Potion Cause a tree to be regrown. Up through yew. Also works with all player grown trees. Does not speed up growth. ^ Farming has tree patches that allow you to have your own tree. This would take away a major benefit of farming. How would this take away the benefit? You can now re-spawn your private tree. 50: Speedgrowth Potion Greatly reduces the time it takes for a farming patch tree to fully grow. (Perhaps by halving the clock.) 60: Familiarity Potion Increase the duration of the familiar by 10%. Only once per summon. 70: Acid Potion Throw at monsters to deal splash damage. One dose = 1 hit. Meaning a 3 dose potion thrown into a group of 8 monsters will only hit a random 3 of them. Or thrown at a group of 2 monsters will hit both, but waste a dose. ^ No, because if you have to click to throw something at a monster it is annoying and slayer is set up like this for example gargolyes have to be finished off with a hammer. Plus those hits are so low, it would never be worth it. I guess this is my fault for not being clear enough. You would equip the potion in your weapon slot; one dosage level at a time. Potions of equal dosage stack in inventory. You can combine them, but you run the risk of wasting more doses. See holy water. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=2038 80: Ceasefire Potion The monster currently attacking you will stop for a few seconds. But you may not attack anything for a minute. Only works on the last monster to attack you if the combat level of the monster is less than your combat level + 40. 90: Quick Attack Potion Slightly increases the frequency at which you attack. (Melee, Range, & Combat Magic) ^ If attack only worked this way it would be awesome. Higher attack should increase weapon speeds. That would be a really good incentive for levelling. If this was the case, one (or more) of three complaints would arise. 1) "Level 1 attacks too slow now!" 2) "Level 99 attacks too fast now!" 3) "Theres no point in leveling attack past equipping the Godsword. The benefit isn't worth it!" (Oh wait, we have that now #-o ) 100: Make 4 dose potions (w/ special vial made in crafting/smithing.) ^ If you take pots to some NPC he will make 4 dose's for you. I could see this being a lunar spell though. I know about the decant option and have used it many times. But how awesome would it be to have the same herbs and seconds make an extra dose of potion and not have to do that? Hence the reasoning for its level requirement. I am all in favor of new lunar spells though. There we go. 9 original potion ideas and the 4-dose option that I wrote down just for you/Jagex. I came up with these, if you use them as a suggestion, please give me credit.

  11. No offense to the guide as it contains lots and lots of useful information, but it is easier to not go back and not worth it to satisfy the attendants in my opinion. Just do this: Fill them up w/ maples Visit running pool in oo'glog Digsite pendant --> 1 Run to --> 2 Fist of Guthix tele, Run to --> 3 Run to --> 4,5 Glory to Edge --> 6 Combat Brace to Monastery or Ice Mountain tele --> 7 Goblin Village Sphere --> 8 Games Necklace to Burthorpe --> 9 Trollheim tele, run east --> 11 Run south --> 10 Trollheim tele, run north --> 12 AND EITHER 1) Run North --> 13, 14 OR 2) Tele to ice plateau, run south --> 13 Run to KBD, tele out, tele to frozen waste plateau, run in circles --> 14 Should take you less than 10 minutes. AOW?
  12. The probability of rewards is 100%. But armor is varied. I got my first piece after 18 runs. The second on 23, and the same piece on 25. Then later I had back-to-back drops and later still a 50+ dry streak. I've stopped keeping logs now. I use the time I save to do more runs.
  13. I can confirm that it happened to me with gold ore. Even got an extra ore because of my Varrock Armour 3.
  14. I think Ive seen you SirH a couple of times. I'd like it if the cc was more full too, but I feel that whenever I play a minigame, its noobed after I finish getting the reward I set out to get. So I'll try it in a couple days.
  15. OMG! I was at wave 60 in the Fire Caves. Doing great still had all my brews, and lots of super restores left. I had been having a great run, taking very little damage, even answered a phone call in the middle. At the end of wave 60, with the 360 at 1/2 hp and the 90 & 180 trapped around a corner, the Runescape window goes black. Solid black. All I can still see is the 'Home' and 'Search' toolbar at the top of the screen. What gives? This is ridiculous. Is there some conspiracy against me getting the cape? Like I said, this is ridiculous. No I don't have proof, I could do it again if I wanted, but I have no guarantee that it won't happen again so why should I try?
  16. I remember: -failing a spell and waiting 15 seconds or so to try again -having an item called "pickaxe" -mining 8 coal at barb village, then resting in edgeville -mining a chicken nugget then smelting it into a gold bar/sheet -being super mad that I missed the scythe drop, but got it later ^ I was mad, but I never posted any complaints -having 116/116 quest points (RS2)
  17. It might be faster to get to the altar through zanaris, but there is no easy way back. You'll also take damage if you fail the crack.
  18. "Earthers can't even tell time, let alone travel through it." - Gorrath, Glorft Commander haha MEGAS XLR on topic... I found that at 83 def + enchanted excalibur special + healing on b2p + ~100 ranged def (equip) to be a little unsatisfactory for sustaining myself at aviansies I'm hoping an 85 def + 90 more ranged def points will help me. Good luck to you.
  19. you could move all the members stuff you dont wanna touch in a completely different tab

And you run more hunched forward than before. (At least it seems that way to me.) (Send me a PM if there are any questions about my post)
  21. No, if he collects all the good drops from green dragons (herbs worth around 1.5K or more and all the dhides) he could make around 5-6M by the time he collect around 5M worth of d bones. And by collecting he isn't spending his money, he's just losing profit from each kill. Honestly? Collecting seems like a good way to go. With d bone prices set to rise even further, if you collect a good amount you could save yourself spending about 10M on prayer :) Don't get me wrong, I agree with the collecting, and I realize that I seemed anti-collecting in my post. Sorry. Its just that the drops attained from killing the dragons would all come from training combat, which could be trained on another monster. Or the hides could have been used to train crafting instead of selling. Or the extra money could be put towards summoning or something. Still don't believe me? Say a player really likes the construction skill. But he doesn't have enough money to level it up and build a nice house. He says "I'll do it later, when I have more money." He levels his account up and makes gazoodles of money. Enough to build a nice house and level up construction. Yet, while he has the money, he decides to put it towards something else, say prayer. He chose prayer over construction. He could chose construction or prayer, but he couldn't choose both. He could only choose one, and the decision was made at the expense of not choosing the other. (Assuming he was going to make a choice.) This is opportunity cost.
  22. A SC pickaxe might not last you the entire shooting star. If its a level 4 with about 6 people on it. I had ~22% remaining from 100% start.
  23. bracelets of clay + dueling ring + skills necklace = best way to get soft clays from there, sell them or make tabs if you sell the soft clay, and can make a 28 soft clay run in a minute, and neglect charge usage, that comes to about 500k and hr if im calculating this correctly...
  24. Umm, sorry to burst the bubble here....but..... Gathering your own bones does not make the skill cheap. If you gathered your bones, lets say 5m worth. You would be losing the 5m you could have earned if you sold it. So either way, you're still losing money by ectoing, or whatever, those bones. You could train prayer by genie lamps, penguins, and my personal favorite...the WGS reward at the cost of not using those for another skill.
