  1. 1. I'd say no, but I don't own it, and I doubt I ever will. 2. I'd use ape atoll with agility potions/summer pies to boost. Remember failing obstacles ends at lvl 75. Fails at lvl 72 will still be rare. 3. Ape Atoll maxes around 52k xp/hour, so boots should double that.
  2. Its hardly top-of-the-line anymore, but I use an ATI 4870 on my computer. I used to get blue screens while playing (specifically while loading contents of the map) but that was driver issues. Since a fix many years ago, I don't think I've had a problem. On my laptop, I also have a stronger graphics processor. No problems.
  3. I'd afk it a edge, since you are trying to save money.
  4. 2) Train on pouches you will either use, sell, swap and get you good xp/charm. There really aren't that many options. Just decide on what you think is the best gp/xp option and do that. Personally, I've been putting my choice exp into Summoning (pengs, Jack of Trades, Trolls) and it is about 100k free xp per week. 4) people say knife-fighters, I got my lvl before those existed by blackjacking Menaphites while watcuhing tv 5) Gaining more agility levels will never hurt you beyond the time you put into those levels. I've had lvl 99 for many years because I wanted to always be able to run
  5. Anything fast will not be cheap, especially in f2p. You can try to smelt bars, which will yield a profit, but be slow. Or you can try to find the item that gives the most xp/gp. Don't forget to look at Artisan's Workshop, but I don't believe that is any better than normal smithing.
  6. Been too long since I did the quest. But some spells are unlocked through (many hours at) Livid Farm including Repair Rune Pouch and Trollheim Teleport
  7. All that ^ Hunter shouldnt be a problem due to its speed, Agility can be Effigied a bit if your getting bored of running around in circles. I also have these three skills left and my plan is; Rc - Effigies, pengs, trolls ect. Agil - Gnome till 85, Barb to 90. Then mix up gnome/barb when bored. Do some horn filling if bored. Hunt - Draconics all the way, only annoying bit is tracking the Jadinkos to make scentless/hunt potions. Thief - Plundering for me as I cba to do quest to get knife fighters. If the pies for Agility are difficult to come by (I really have no idea), but you can also do Agility potions. Failures will be very rare at Ape Atoll. I did blackjacking Menaphites. It returns a decent profit (more now than when I did it). For Hunter, I did Red Chinchompas, but this was before Jadinkos, so I won't say anything about them.
  8. As rune prices change, it will be difficult to calculate an official cost, but RS wiki's page is excellent for this information. If you figure 18k points per hour, you should easily be able to calculate how much time it will take to get your spell. That is a very good spell, but it only repairs one rune pouch at a time. I had 99 magic long before this activity came out, but with the MEGA-SLOW rate of produce points, I think you should just do every point earning activity. (I am nearly at Trollheim Tele and I've been slowly working on this forever). So basically, do all activities and avoid the distractions, the only benefit to doing them is some magic xp, but you run the risk of wasting runes by choosing a wrong option. If you go this option, you only need Astral, Natures, and Laws if you use a Mud Staff and you should easily get 18k points per hour once you get the hang of it. (Don't forget a seal of passage).
  9. I hate to say it, but your video isn't exactly correct. I've successfully grabbed the Cithara with items in my inventory and less than full prayer points. My post and video in this thread basically answers all questions concerning taking the Cithara. http://youtu.be/5SBsOBoC07c The video shows many attempts and doesn't feature a commentary, but what it shows doesn't really need the commentary. Simply put, you need: 6 Saradomin items equipped Ghostspeak Amulet (or Cramulet) equipped Ring of Visibility equipped 100% Run Energy And then that other stuff with Prayer, Magic, etc.
  10. I would train some agility so run energy comes back faster. In addition, you could try going for all skills 30+ or 40+. Some of those will be boring and you can do quests for some experience as well. Once you have all skills 40+, then you can do many things and I'm sure you'll have a good idea what you want to do.
  11. Probably starting today. I've been checking periodically since Batch 2 and the on-sale items have always been those two basic costumes for 50%.
  12. I have Smiddi at Lvl 99. PM me in game. Inb4move.

I don't know which are boost-able, usually RS Wiki answers this question though. As for training agility, I always say to do the course that you like the best (with a decent xp rate of course). For me at that level, it was Ape Atoll (this was 4 years ago, so there wasn't a real other option). As you probably know, you stop failing at level 75, but with Agility potions at your level, any failures will be rare and it provides you another thing to do. I personally found it more interesting that way. Really focused people at Ape Atoll can get 52k xp/hr with each lap taking ~ 40 seconds as I remember.
  14. If you're set on chinning, people also chin at Nechs and Mummies. Although, I do not believe these to be as good as Skeletal Monkeys. You could try cannoning cave crawlers and also hunt for effigies, but I can't really give any useful advice on this (I've never done it).
  15. Worked for me with: Equipment: Cith hood, robe top, robe bottom Sara Cape, Staff, Arrow, Book Sara Owl Cramulet & Ring of Visibility Inv: Sara Symbol Cith Symbol Fally Shield 3 Normal Magic Normal Prayers (full points, none active) Full Run Energy Then it worked without the owl. Then it worked without any one other item (6 sara items eqipped). It also worked with fewer prayer points, and active prayers seemed to make no difference either. If I went to 5 sara items equipped, the owl wouldn't allow grabbage. From what my experimenting has uncovered, I was NEVER able to take the Cithara with <100% run energy, Cramulet (assuming ghostspeak is fine too), and Ring of Visibility. This was even true if the equipment set up worked with those things or if it was replaced by a Sara object. Also, don't forget to include that 50k prayer xp reward for snagging it. I'll make a video soon. EDIT: Video Link http://youtu.be/5SBsOBoC07c
  16. The million GP question. Higher cost/xp or Higher time/xp? A quick glance at the prices shows that making adamant bolts, arrowtips, or platebodies would be cheaper and potentially faster xp. SC hammers will reduce the GP cost of your materials also if you put the time in for them. Use "Fast sc"
  17. OK, I recently did a fair amount of chinning as the price was low. Red Chins: Full range Void (Zammy book) No Rigour Extreme Range pots (3 4 dosers) 2 Geyser Titans 1 dose each of super restore and super antipoison (i guess i didn't factor in the tele-tab) One on trip at range level 90-92, I used 2295 red chins that cost me 385 each. With all other cost calculations, ~700k range xp cost ~950k. The average range xp/chin was ~310 and the result was 1.35 gp/range xp. Also gained HP level there too. Not saying I was perfect, but I am pleased with the overall result. I think the most skeletons hittable at a time is 14 or 15, so more than that in your pile is just backup for the moments when one is dead.
  18. its always good to avoid having to eat too this is what i ended up doing a few months ago: -darkness attack = have your camera facing away from him at all times beforehand, then simply take a step backwards -flying bomb things = run constantly, be careful of the pillars causing you to turn around (may need a high agility or run energy pots) -bloodvelds = attack each one once -bomb on the ground = run backwards ~3 steps (it will hit Vanstrom instead of you as he chases you) then prayer and brews/restore when necessary If a Vanstrom memory fight is offered in Tower of Dominion update thing, this is one I will probably take advantage of. I actually liked the fight quite a bit.
  19. This quick running through is what I am doing as well. Each is about level 81 for me. I let Rolayne fights Ghasts on easy-path if the Ghasts are attacking me.
  20. Does the Construction gear provide a bonus to Construction XP for tasks at Livid Farm? I haven't seen any information about this yet.
  21. you could try Livid Farm, RS Wiki says approx. 32k xp/hr if I remember correctly (plus magic, con, craft agility xp depending on you current magic level, I highly recommend at least reading about it) could also look at vinesweeper, I've never tried that or you could even do some quests with farming xp rewards, or the jade vine
  22. I would have hoped that something like this would be similar to a Guild vs Guild war where the current owner of the clan citadel gets a special unique reward while owning it. Similar to WoE in Ragnarok Online (if that still even exists).
  23. In the past I used to listen to the weekly podcast done by RSBandB. The show wasn't all that great because I found the hosts kind of annoying. Their banter wasn't as good as the banter my friend and I did when we made video game podcasts. Their podcasts would usually last a little over an hour and feature some intro music, an introduction about the podcast, talking about updates and their effects on the game as a whole, then talk about the poll or any official Runescape events like a skilling weekend. They would have random talks and guests on the show to generally cover a lot of Runescape news showcasing their opinions. Because the podcast was tied directly to the website, they had a dedicated forum for people to ask the most random types of questions (e.g. "What is your favorite type of cheese?"). They also talked about site news, so if you're expecting a large Tip.It crowd you might mention new guides that have come out or something (with permission probably). Anyways, there are a lot of possibilities, but experiment and find what works for you.
  24. 2nd Article: I agree that Dungeoneering is like Left4Dead (which I play a lot of). You could describe both as: A series of instanced events that works better with multiple people playing than by yourself. Since the situation is never exactly the same, you need a quick mind, quick reflexes, and a solid internet connection to be the most effective player who reacts appropriately to a sudden change. As a matter of FACT, I suggested a minigame along the lines of Left 4 Dead about a year ago when I was playing it much more often. Of course, that was for a minigame. I think that Dungeoneering should be a minigame. When it was first announced on April 12, my first thought was that April Fools Day was 11 days ago, like several rants in RSOF. Furthermore, I think that Summoning should have been the absolute last skill that required combat participation to level up effectively. I don't like how combat is becoming a functional part of other skills. The only way combat should be an integral part of a new skill would be for a new type of combat to arise, turning the triangle into a square.
  25. Um, you can try buying and selling broad bolt tips or broad bolts Also try buying and selling battlestaffs, ~80k in a minute people will also say TD's if you've done WGS or you could try some intense runecrafting for months and months, doubtful you'd wanna do that Otherwise, I'd say you're doing the right things. Sorry its not much help.
