Like you cant get brushes on pdn? And I'm sure lots of tacky filter pipes are great. Read some tutorials for GIMP before you switch to a way inferior program.

I want those things to look like the ones you already did. ill list the things i cant do, cant have primary text colour green cant find the render cant have primary text black (only text colour is white) so mainly the text and render, ....? The choppiness of his arm spoils it completely, composition with the font could be better, blend in the render, the mario and yoshi ones are nice though. I rate you a 6.

What would have been better, is brush the first layer. Make a gradient new layer then set layer mode to overlay, then do scanlines, looks a lot better. Good explaining and nice tutorial though.
