My favorite paradox has to be the Ship of Theseus paradox. The Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz is a prime example of this.

The river glowing woke me up. As the sun rose it made the river glow as it it did when it settled. I saw our fire had been extinguished and reduced to nothing but smoldering ash. I saw Hawks on the opposite side of the ash, holding that weird hat of his, still asleep. A moment later I hear a loud splash behind me. I turned around to face what might have fallen, turns out it was just a bird that dived in and caught a fish with it's talons. I decided to get up and fish some more fish before Hawks wakes up. I knew he would be happy to wake up to a breakfast.

Hmm I found it funny that I put 0.99999999999999999999999999999999999999 * 1 in a graphing calculator and the answer was 1.

Hawks managed to start a fire while I was looking at the berries. I astonished that he started a fire, I pondered to myself if he knew magicks too. "Well I guess I won't have to waste magi on a fire" I said chuckling. I fumbled through his hat full of berries. "I see you manages to find the some berries" I examined one of the berries. "Wow and they are Darvi Berries also. These were a delicacy back home." I said staring at the red juicy berry with seeds ingrained into its skin. "I managed to catch three fish besides the one you caught, all nice and big." I pointed to the pile of fish next to the crude spear. The sun settled and it started to get dark. I quickly got one of the twigs that were useless for burning and started making it into a skewer using the piece of rock Hawks made. "So where are you from?" I asked as I made the skewer. I settled myself unto a nice rock with a thump and jingle from my amulet.

I took the crude homemade spear. After one fish was caught by hawks I decided to follow his example. As he quickly went back to the forest to find the berries I yelled to him. "Just bring some wood and twigs! I can probably start a fire!" After I caught the next fish I noticed it was getting cold, I should find an animal to use as a shirt or something. I cursed myself for not wearing an undershirt beneath my robe before it disappeared, or at least magically make a shirt appear! Then I remembered about my magick, it's still there but diminished. "I have to build an altar soon, or I'll run out of magick." I murmured to myself. "Well I was lucky enough to keep my underpants and shoes." As the sun hit the horizon the river glowed orange that it shocked me, the sunset really was breathtaking. I wondered if I should name the river after the sun.

"Names Wizz." I replied. I noticed that I was wrong and she was wearing a hat and not a wig. I was disappointed to hear that no others were around. She introduced herself as Hawks and the tattoos on her skin were in a beautiful and delicate strokes and patterns. She sat down near rock and chipped a piece off. I saw a glint of light in her eyes as she looked at the bit of rock. Nightfall was nearing and I knew we have to build a shelter and a fire. I wonder if my magicks still worked here, that way a fire would be easier to make. I tested it out by trying to make a flame at the tip of my finger. I could have sworn I saw a spark, either that or the reflection of light from the rushing river caused it to look like a spark. Either way I knew my magicks was diminished here. "Reckon we build a fire and eat before the sun hits the horizon?" I asked her "I think I saw a bush of edible berries just a tad bit south of here."

I need to know which characters are male and female so it can reflect the story. I don't wanna say he when I'm suppose to be saying she. Also is magic allowed?
