yea just posted that I must have taken more time to write that post than I thought. Sorry, didn't see your first post.

magic secateurs, what did YOU need to make them
I'll post my ingredients when I get to that part, but here's a small suggestion that may help some other people out: How about also listing where some of these items could be found as well, especially for the harder to find ones? For example: Mort Myre pear comes from using Bloom(from the enchanted silver sicle) on a small dead bush-like plant in the Mort Myre Swamp area.

How many quests have you done (or left to do)
I have 196 QP; all quests complete except the newest one, Fairy Tale P1 -- Growing Pains. And I'll do that one now.

Rule 15 added!
This is a ridiculous rule. I typically either play RS on a decent computer that has a dial-up connection or on an old, somewhat weak computer that has DSL. Far too many of these ads are Flash-based. Several others have constant motion which annoys me. Not only that, but a large majority of them are completely unrelated to the game. Who wants to enter a dating service or buy a mortgage when they're playing a game? Not I. Thus I block the ads, using the HOSTS file(which is a built-in part of windows). On the decent computer on dial-up, loading the flash ads cause a signifigant lag. On the DSL computer, the flash-based ads take up far to much resources to let RS run properly. Even if I move them out of the screen, they still take up enough resources to mess up RS. If my f2p accounts get banned when I play them for ad-blocking, I will complain, but I will keep in mind that it was a F2P account. However... if my P2P main gets blocked for this reason... I'll quit. No sense in playing a game if the makers ban a LEGITIMATE PAYING CUSTOMER for blocking their horrid adverts.

"Get A Life"
That's quite harsh. Perhaps the game itself taught 'em nothing, but it obviously did inspire him to find this forum. Perhaps without RS, then he would have never learned HTML, because he learnt it out of a desire to communicate with fellow fans of RuneScape outside the game. You cannot deny there is some community aspect to RuneScape that takes it beyond the game itself that infuses most players. For me, and I'm sure a great deal many other players, playing RuneScape goes beyond time spent actually logged in. There's reading the JaGeX official newsposts and other areas of the site. There's the search for information that is not presented on the JaGeX site. There's talking to other people about the game. Playing a game like this, I beleive, includes these outside activities. If you disagree with that, then I am sure you cannot deny that these activities affect the way you play the game. Even if you really do wish to make a point of him not learning HTML in-game, surely you can at least see and agree RuneScape was the motivating factor.

Small Mimimmap bug.
Yes, exactly what Swordwiz said. Every time you get the loading screen it's offset slightly on purpose to try to thwart autoers. At least that's the way it's been for a long, long time.

Weird Slayer Task
I kill metal dragons without antifires, it's not that hard... its the idea that their hard to hit and cannonballs arent nearly as effective as they are on anything else. + cant guthan without antifires. and still ive been hit a 43 by dragon fire before and thats pretty damn fatal Now did you get this 43 hit on you while wearing anti-dragon shield? If not, then bring one and another one-handed weapon. The most I've been hit for while wearing anti-dragon shield is 6. If you get too low in hits, then back off the dragons and pull out your Guthan's on other monsters in the area. Kill a dragon, then go use your Guthan's on a wild dog or black demon or something else...

Just When You Thought Uve Seen Everything On Ebay...
Felt party hats you can wear on your head in real life...? For $8.00... Just go to the Dollar Tree or a party supply store. I've seen a set of 4 crown-shaped party hats for sale in Dollar Tree before for.. a dollar. A party supply store probably wouldn't charge that much more. And if you don't like the color, go to Wal-Mart and buy a can of spray paint. Spray, then let dry, and wear. Whee. Or you could do what this guy did and make your own out of felt or something else(like those weird foam sheets in Wal-Mart's arts and crafts section or old papers)... Probably wouldn't cost more than $2.00 to make....

Behind the Scenes Feburary
Haven't heard of this one... I had some problems maging Iron Drags a week ago... Then I turned off auto-retaliate and the problem went away. Are people still having problems even after turning auto retaliate off? ...And what was that system update earlier this morning...?

Macroers Defeated?
As long as RuneScape exists, there will be people using bots to cheat. For every new anti-macro patch RS puts in, there will be a way for the bot programmers to avoid, dodge, or handle.I hate to say it, but it's the sad pitiful truth.

Poll - Who wants a new very hard quest?
I'd like to see a quest that tests you in as many aspects as possible, and was quite long with a good story. High level requirements for me are a must; if it comes out and I can do it immediately, I won't be happy. All my skills are 53 or above, with I think 5 below 70. Not to mention requiring certain other "difficult" quests be completed or at least have a very high QP requirement( say like the current max of 190) to even start. This would give higher levels something to do that only they could do while giving mid-to lower levels something to work for. Of course, if it has such high requirements, the quest itself should be taxing. I'm against fighting high leveled monsters(mainly because I lag too much to kill many of the most dangerous monsters) but I can deal with it. There should be some puzzles like or surpassing those of Recruitment Drive, possibly something of ME2 proportions. There should also be some riddles, and some other things that test your knowledge of RuneScape. Like maybe some vague description of a place you need to go or person you need to talk to. It should also be rather long (perhaps as time consuming as both Me1 and Me2 if not moreso) and have a good, riveting storyline. I don't think that the typical Jagex humor would work well in a quest like this, unless it was for some sort of comic relief(like the gnomes who make fun of you when you get caught by monkey guards in MM). Most people disagree with me on this, but I also think the quest should require a lot of travel. I like seeing a lot of RuneScape in quests, half the fun of One Small Favour for me was traveling to places I typically ignored.. Of course, I would much rather this implemented at least a few new areas. With all the above, the reward should be great. Perhaps a new area that offers excellent training opportunities for many skills. Make it a place that everyone who has done the quest would want to visit many, many times to further their skills. Make it as useful as Ardougne and Seer's if not moreso. Perhaps have special high-leveled items for sale in the shops in this new area (like equipment that requires 80 or so levels in appropriate skills to wield). These items should mark people who have done this quest, like Legends' Cape does for those who did Legends. Not to mention there should be some really, really high EXP reward for all skills involved in the quest. In short, I want a quest that few would be able to do right off the bat, and that once complete, would be something to brag about. Even then, I think this quest should be difficult enough so that relatively few people can do it, even several months from its initial release. Instead of being like Legends where now most people have those silly white capes...

Please be Eastern Lands, please be Eastern Lands...
Well... To be honest, I'd rather see the Priffdinas area become available before I saw the "Eastern Lands." The "maybe new" weapons... if they're really new, I hope that they at least have good stats(and by good I mean they're good for higher-leveled people instead of being shoddy low or mid level equipment that quickly gets discarded). If they really do already exist, I hope someone can show what they are in-game to put this speculation to rest. No need speculating about what already exists, is there? While it will be all good and well to wield a fishing rod, how about other tools like lobster cages, harpoons, needles and thread, perhaps even crafting moulds and any other tool that you use for any other skill that I've left out..? That's what I'm hoping for. But I'm NOT going to ask to equip my breadloaf. Though I suppose it'd be funny to hit someone with a loaf of bread instead of a rubber chicken...

Shark Cooking
I've noticed that as well. It seems like whenever I cook at the Catherby range I burn more sharks than if I cook elsewhere....

King Black Dragon slaying guide has been removed. Read more.
I don't know a whole lot about slaying metal dragons or the KBD... So if you chose to use magic or range to kill it... Is there a "safe spot" you can stand where the dragon can only hit you with its breath attacks, or does it just stand still and breathe fire at you if you attack it from a distance? Or do you have to constantly move to avoid being hit by its melee attack?

RS2 Beta Bug
Two things: 1.) Why would you make a topic about a bug that existed in a beta version of RS that existed two years ago...? 2.) Correct me if I'm wrong, but we didn't even have access to Seer's until AFTER Jagex copied out RS bank into RS2 Beta...? Even then, I don't think they'd put in Party PEte's place by that time...

When will Rs ever be Full 3D?
If updating the graphics on RS is the only way to get new players, why does the population seem to grow and grow? I don't think that RuneScape will get much prettier than it is now, because like what's been stated before, they're trying to play with a niche market here: players who don't want to technically install software, players on older model computers, and people who want to play from whereever. How many alternative games can you play anywhere just by going to the game's site? Very few. Most either require CDs (which you have to carry with you to play elsewhere) or can be downloaded from the site, but then have to be installed to play(Like Tibia or Another World). What other game offers THAT kind of portability? If you want prettier RuneScape, go play Another World(I think that's what it's called, and if it's still around) -- it's like a modern-age RuneScape, except it's made in Russia... Pretty good English on that game, considering that little fact... It plays very much like RuneScape does.

Too Much or Too Little?
Yeah, more quests for high leveled players. I seriously cannot remember the last time I purposefully had to train a skill in order to do it. And this is from someone who will take the random 6 months off of RS. Most of the quests are just something to do for a short period of time. When is the last time a quest came out that people actually got a noticable benefit in terms of access to useful places? Priest in Peril. Even then, Morytania's not overly useful if you don't do Barrows or care about Prayer. Too many places are made to be these cool places, everyone gets high hopes, then... the place has a quest, and afterwards the new area becomes like Rimmington. I'm hoping when Priffdinas comes out (IF it does, nowadays I doubt it will) there will be several useful things about it. You know, make it a city you can go to do several things. Like in or around Ardougne, you can mine, theive, and do a spot of farming. Plus it's close to the fishing guild. Keldagrim could, and should, have been a big boon to all sorts of miners and smithers, but the anvils are too far away from the bank, as are the furnaces, and the mines pale in comparison to several of the already existing mines. And seriously, what use is the desert (excluding Al Kharid) for the average player past a few quests? None that I can see, besides slayer... Absolutely none. And that's a real shame. Morytania is also kind of weak on player draw, though its much better than the desert...

Block off the abyssals!
I'd just like to mention something. Or a couple of somethings. To the one who said it'd be hard to implement: No, it wouldn't. There are doors like this in place in such places as the Mining Guild, Crafting Guild, Cooking Guild, Champion's Guild, Hero's Guild, Legends Guild, Fishing Guild, Magic Guild, Prayer Guild(upstairs of the Monestary), the entrance to the Wildernes Agility arena, most if not all other Agility obstacles... A simple check is all they would need to add. Would take less than 5 minutes to code, and could be implemented at any update time. I don't think a door would be an inconvenice for anyone who had the level to kill them. Besides... how many noobs would really care that they can't go in and watch people kill stuff...? I doubt any. Second: Some people ignore a whole load of noobs. Because many noobs are persistant little nuts. If you ignore them for awhile, next time you remove them they'll message you. Not everyone likes having their chats and PMs set to off or friends... Third thing: Yes, ignore them and hope they'll go away. Either that or be sarcastic or mean without directly insulting to them. They usually say enough bull that you can honestly report them for bad language.

Your thoughts on wands?
I'd prefer them if they were some sort of cool looking staff... perhaps even a cane or a sceptre... but a wand? Come on, wands are like toys. How many stories have proficient mages who use wands(besides the Harry Potter books...)? Most of them use more meaty instruments like staves or canes...

Whats the result of 15000 player banned? look here
If their new system works as advertised, then they banned many mains of many autoers. This paragraph from Runescape.com suggests that if you have 2 mules, one main, and an autoer, all four characters will be banned. Reading official RuneScape newsposts is a good way to get information...

Guthan, now worthless? Bones to peaches discussion.
Telegrab mazes are pretty easy if you "observe" the statues then look at the entire maze for a minute or two... not to mention there are a small handful of mazes. I think 10. Well, once you figure out each maze once or twice you pretty much have it made. All it takes is a few minutes to learn each maze then you can do it almost automatically. Well, B2P is the way to go if you're a compulsive spender who always spends his cash before you can gather enough to buy Guthan's...

JAGAXS RULES UNFAIR?
Question: Did you tell them about it in normal chat or did you PM them the site? IF you still want to tell people about Tip.It, might be better to tell them via PM instead of through the normal chat that mods can see...

New fastest route from 21-99 mage (now under 4 hours)
It'd be helpful if people went into the room and got some first-person experience in said room before posting rumors they've heard as fact and using them to flame. Good thinking, Despipardesi... Certainly an interesting observation and theory. Now if only I had the resources to pull this off...

Will 5k autoer In Runescape 2 be banned next? Told you so!!
There is no flax random, but you'll eventually get busted by one of the more general randoms, like the Drunken Dwarf, Genie, Mysterious Old Man, ect... This "new" random event wouldn't be much help; if a macro user witnesses the event once or twice he or she could somewhat easily write a script that dodges the random event or actually goes through it. As for IP banning, that won't work very well. There are still a bunch of people who get assigned Dynamic IPs(IPs that change everytime you connect to your provider). These people are usually dialup users or DSL users of certain providers. This means you could log on RS, use your macro, get IP banned, then reconnect to your ISP and log onto RS using a new, improved macro. And if your ISP reuses its IPs, then you might end up with another player being IP banned who didn't do anything, but uses the same service provider. IP banning only works if the person has a Static(permanat, nonchanging) IP. Not to mention the more skilled cheats probably know how to spoof IPs. If they used MAC addresses, that might work.. well at least until the chats got a new network card or modem... and Heaven help any legitimate user who buys a used card off those cheats. Plus, MAC addresses are still spoofable... Even then, that wouldn't stop cheats from using oher computers. If they use public computers, Jagex would end up banning many many public computers from playing, preventing legitimate players from playing at any sort of puplic place, such as internet cafes.

Can f2p wear/make/trade the new pink cape?
Pink cape? PINK?! Uhm... Eww.
