What music would you like to be played on your funeral?
Actually, I change my mind. I choose to die just to have Imagine - John Lennon played at my funeral. People wouldn't be able to stop crying.

Don't bother getting AoE 3. 2 is MUCH better. I would want to take part in the team, I'm always for a good Aoe game. Too bad my copy is illegal. :(

Stem Cell Research
I believe becoming a genius would still take people effort in their lives. It's not all about their genes. Also, big modifications like those are still pretty sci-fi. Who knows if by the time those come real the world will be a most socio-economically equalitarian place, making opportunities for everyone alike.

YOUR opinion on (Soft/Hard-) Drugs
Yeah, I get it. I just don't believe statal interference is necessary on the illegalization/legalization of drugs, just as it isn't for chocolate. People could argue that drugs cost the state more healthcare investment and therefore should be illegalized. However, obesity is a much worse problem and the decision of being fat or not is pretty much left in people's hands.

Stealing...
Indeed. Also a problem if people expect kids to learn that on theology classes. Love your sig, Brain. :P

I'm completely for it, and for any advance in Science.

YOUR opinion on (Soft/Hard-) Drugs
Not if you believe that things you want/wish can be bad for you. What if the government believes that for you?

Is the triumph of liberal ideas a tendency on the long term?
Barihawk: so you compare evolutionists to dogs? Way to go...

Favorite Pie?
We have a pie here called Dutch Pie, probably it has nothing to do with Holland, though. It's basically cream, cookies and chocolate. Tastes like heaven. :D

No post about Ted Haggard yet? Okay then...
No idea of who he is, but if he managed to get insane and you on the same side, he must be REALLY bad. :P

Is the triumph of liberal ideas a tendency on the long term?
I don't think it would, I was just trying to give different alternatives on my first post. Nathaninch: Yes, but that's pretty much only happening in North America. There's still strong liberalism in other parts of the world, such as mine. Thus, do you think those conservative "advances" are just slowing down the human development?

Is the triumph of liberal ideas a tendency on the long term?
Society, Religion, Economy and every other aspect of our lives has today much looser rules than those of a decade, a century or a millenium ago. Life today is much less tied to strict rules: the uses of society are much more liberal today. Economically, countries are loosening more and more by the day their State control on companies. Politically, conservative/dictatorial governments are becoming an exception, while only 30 years ago, more than half of the countries were ruled by conservative dictatorships. The idea of women competing against men has been accepted. Homosexuality begins to be more widely accepted by people, even in the most conservative places on Earth. God has once been considered the only source of wisdom, then, both Science and Religion were accepted as sources. Nowadays, some people think Science is the only source. Does that mean that the natural tendency of the world is to get more liberal with time, or is that just a temporary wave? If it is a natural tendency, are conservative thoughts slowing down the human development? If it is just a wave, where are we getting at? Or can liberalization be dangerous? What are your opinions?

What are you listening to right now!?
I like it a lot, need to get into it more though. :) But I need to pay some more attention during Moonchild. :) Yeah, Moonchild is the hardest track to get into. Once you do, though, you'll absolutely love it. Or absolutely hate it. :P

YOUR opinion on (Soft/Hard-) Drugs
Just a random thought that has just crossed my mind: wouldn't it be a crime against yourself to live a life in which you can't do all the things you want and satisfy all your wishes?

Jigsaw Puzzles
That's pretty much the reason why I said that. Sarcastically. Yeah, I got it :? I know. Katha and Seismic didn't seem to have gotten it tho.

YOUR opinion on (Soft/Hard-) Drugs
The truth is: if the marijuana lobby were as strong as the tobacco lobby, it would be sold in every store, and nobody would be shocked about it.

Rant generator?
Okay, let's do it. Let's put to rest stentorian and infantile propositions such as Deloriagod's. But first, let me pose you a question: Is Deloriagod actually concerned about any of us, or does it just want to create a new fundamentalism based not on religion but on an orthodoxy of parasitism? After reading this letter, you'll surely find it's the latter. The term "idiot savant" comes to mind when thinking of Deloriagod. Admittedly, that term applies only halfway to it, which is why I maintain that I am making a pretty serious accusation here. I am accusing Deloriagod of planning to legitimate irresponsibility, laziness, and infidelity. And I don't want anyone to think that I am basing my accusation only on the fact that it tries to make us think the way it wants us to think, not by showing us evidence and reasoning with us, but by understanding how to push our emotional buttons. More concretely, Deloriagod truly believes that the health effects of secondhand smoke are negligible. It is just such filthy megalomania, virulent, pusillanimous egoism, and intellectual aberrancy that stirs Deloriagod to see to it that all patriotic endeavors are directed down blind alleys, where they end in frustration and discouragement. The extent of collaboration between Deloriagod and eccentric prophets of immoralism is unknown, but presumably significant. And that's why I say to you: Have courage. Be honest. And make Deloriagod pay for its crimes against humanity. That's the patriotic thing to do, and that's the right thing to do.
