Thanks, sorry just had the fourms saved as a favourite not the main page so didn't see it.

Sorry, sure it's been posted a few times on this thread but can't find it. Could someone tell me where I can unlink my card from this, sorry I can't find it though the hard to navigate Jagex website, canceled membership but can't find the option to totally remove the card details. Strange to have been a member for so long and then have something like this come around and finally be the trigger to leave, oh well hardly been on for the last 3 months, but still. Good job jagex...

Thanks for all of the help and pointers guys. I've finnished the quest and killed my first 10-15 demons, tyvm for the gear tips all very useful. The only area I seam to really be stuggleing with is lure's which I monumentally suck at and constently wind up having a second demon on me, and my lured demon is in a point where the second can usually hit me, so eating a ton and very short trips. I have tried the Northern spot, and it seams ok but quite, and then when I try and lure I always get the second by error. Wondered if anyone had any tips with regards to lures/postion and how to learn a bit quicker? Also is there any tips on prayer switching, the rare times so far I've only had one on me I haven't got my prayers right at all, are there any tips anyone can give me? I gathered there is a lot I'm not getting at all right atm, hence I'm no-where near where I should be. That being said it is rather fun.

Okie dokie, thats brilliant thanks, so void w/cannon & whip or GS (would this be one of the rare cases it might be better than a whip?) would be my best bet? Thanks for the invy as well, as I'm yak & titan-less just go 100% pony? And a final question, is there any of the lure spots that lend themselves better to a learner while I get used to killing them, or are they all much of a muchness? Again cheers for all of the help so far guys!

Well like most of the RS population I really dislike quests, so it's taken a while for me to unlock TD's, but I did 95% of the quest last night and just have the final fight to go, which I'll finnish after work tonight, finnally unlocking td's. (Dispite the whole hating quests WGS has been actually pretty fun..). I've checked the tip it td guide, it seams to mention a lot chaotic's etc and was wondering if someone could help on a rough idea of equip/invy and summon? and how manyh kills per hour, again roughly I might be able to make? Statas bit: I only have 73 dungioneering so no chaotics yet, and unlocking any will take a while, and my summoning is 89 so no yak/titan, prayer 84, combats all 99 and I do have overloads. Funds wise for the final expensive skill I'm stockpiling D-bones to finally unlock turmoil, so would rather not spending a fortune on gear, I already have fulll void (no deflector/not elite) and a fury the rest is basics (drag dagger, whip, barrows gear etc). Woud the best be to melee/range, if so which weapons etc? Please try to avoid recomending I raise dungioneering, I don't have a group of friends todg with, and therefore am soloing and don't have 40 hours free to unlock a rapier etc. Thank you anyone that can help.
-
Well I kind of missed the boat with dungioneering training, started it when it was released but then didn't really bother with it, hence know it's only level 69. Now I've got some time to kill and got back into it and hoping to get into the middle 80's and hopefully a few chaotics, I'm thinking maybe a rapier and rigour. Hopefully someone will be able to help, I've got the basic's down and am ok at solo'ing my times aren't brilliant but I can manage 10 min small solo's and 20 min meds, no where near the times some people on here get... But with soloing the xp seams chronically slow at low levels. i was wondering if someone could help and let me know the best way to level for me, a little bit of background. 95% of my friends have moved on from the game, so "train with a group of friends" won't work, will I be stuck soloing? Is 117 viable or even worth it? Are there any other options? And if it would be solo, any rough ideas on time to 80? Thanks for any help anyone can give!

I am oh so very glad you continued to post on this thread and on the subject of swearing I'll refer you to this: [Mod Edit] I know you were trying to make a legitimate point - but the video contained words that we censor, sorry! ~ Racheya Don’t get me wrong I don't go around swearing with every second word but find people that hide behind the intellectual argument quite frankly idiotic. And back on topic I would say yes I do consider the posters conversation with the hacker to have been a valuable "player-to-player discussion" filling the form of light hearted and sarcastic banter and understanding the situation, hoping to make him be quiet and providing a sarcastic response to brighten his and whoever else may have read its day. Jagex really does need to pay more attention to individual cases if only they had the resources/stopped with the lies..

[hide] [/hide] Oh i hate you so so soooooooooooo much. Not even for the insane luck of 2 whips and a head, but just the regular loot. Just finnished a task of 220 myself, no whips, only 1 decent herb (avantoe or higher), 2 rune chains and only a bit of pure ess as the regular drops... Rare drops: dragonstone, 100 silver ore, and the kicker - sheild half. all the fml rare drops in pretty much one go, just missing a dragon med for the full collection. -
Ok, right. Any other answers?

Right currently 98 range/98 magic and 85 slayer and i was just intending to use slayer to finnish of both skills. Oh and currently epicly bored of melee slaying... Main questions are if anyone has expeience with these, Good set ups (not to important, already have ahrims/armadyl) mainly sheild for magic, book or bss? Range - ammo/weapon both inside+ outside dungion, mith knives everythere? Broads? Magic - spell/weapon, again inside and outside the dungion, and weapon sol everywhere? Any tasks that are barrageable/chinable? I don't wish to cannon, hate them, and cost isnt to much of an issue, dont mind praying (previously been pietying everything for example), just dont take the cost thing to far, long way from an eyl etc :P Thanks alot in advance!

In dungioneering it can be a god send, if your alter is in an odd corner or worst case there isnt one...

Well i struggled when i tried to melee him with a zam spear. 3rd run switched to range dodging his attacks and using void, killed him easily, really dont see how people can struggle and have to do him 9/10+ times....

The death of making money by skilling.

Seeing this made me think, a bit left field... Obviously this would never happen but what about if jagex did this: The gathering skills, whilst gathering the higher things, rocktails, addy/rune rocks, yew/magic trees (wc) etc, if you had chance, much like the visage maybe a touch more common but overall a ranked boss style as a "very rare drop" , of getting something like a god ore/god tree/god fish (lol on the last one....) which would be equally powerfull/surpass the GWD equipment. Then with the secondary skills, 95+ could mean you could fletch the god bow (2 god logs to make?), god armour (1/3/5 of the rare ores?), god sword (3/5 rare ores) (not the type we have atm but im just sticking with the theme, so something better).. All of these rare things therefore give value to skilling, would be tradeable, in resource/finnished form. That in a way gives skilling its "rare" reward? Again just an idea and I have been rather lazy on the names, obviously it wouldnt be called ""god" but i just went for a theme. But if they were rare enough yet achievable, overnight gives boss hunting values to skilling? thats a good idea, but jagex would probably be like you have birds nests and caskets@@@@@ also we dont need more higher powered weapons, I'd rather we got something related to skilling. (axe better then dragon, special fishing equipment, etc) the axe/fishing equipment would work if degradable and tradeable but significantly better exp an hr. also all the people that are filtthy rch off combat would want the items if they wanna max out... Which therefore would mean a very high cost, and in turn therefore when a skiller got it would mean a very high reward cashwise... (if it was rare enough....) -

I'm not 99 summoning, 89 atm and got roughly 93 banked atm. Two situations I'm charm gathering, Barrageing - I pick up every charm, obviously as I paid so much for them. General killing, slayer, camping fiends, bosses - If I can I always try and pick up blues/crims, but never bother with golds and occasionally greens if I have no space. For the record, I hate useing gold charms, the XP per run is just to damn slow :(

How is expecting a potion to act similarly to every other potion in the game "bug abuse?" And to your first point, 16*4 aka 64 is how much each brew heals per inventory spot which is greater than any thing else in the game barring stackables. Okay you drink 64 doses of sara-brew and tell me how nice it attacking something with your 1 attack, 1 strength, 1 magic, and1 range. But, I know what you are going to say. Why of course I will bring 16 super restores as well. So in the beginning when the stupid pot came out you would have drank a sara brew, lost fast combat round (rapid knife speed), drank super restore, lost fast combat round, drank super attack, lost fast combat round, drank super strength, lost fast combat round, drank super def, lost fast combat round, and your ready to melee again. No idea when this bug appeared, probably during one of the many stupid runetek updates for the sake of graphics.... But, hey its fixed now so lets all cry about it... not. Everything so far you have said has been pretty idiotic, sorry epicly stupid, esp considering your stats, i mean seriously? Unless you have no CLUE about either PvP or PvM (high end, armadyl, soloing with overloads?). There was nothing that needed to be changed with this at all and is further proof that many on the balance team have no clue about the real game play. PvP - You brew + shark, great you heal 36 BUT you just pretty much nuke'd your stats, fine as a fall back if your claw rushed etc, but normally you wouldn't do it as next round = super att/str etc poting... PvM - Overloads, and any tanking idea possible. Also good question, what idiotic pure rusher with stupid dragon claws thought to file several thousand bug reports to let some moron @ jagex HQ make this change?

Resolution is too bad to tell much. Also, the user is in LS getting drops, so those could all be his friends just acting like bots. Was bored, full screened it. It looks like his friend is nearly maxed, in void with an iron titan running around getting most of the kills ( the green dot) in ls. Whilst the pure (video taker) is asking the bots str/att levels. And tbh haveing been there either for black dragon tasks or randomly killing a few hundred over the weekend, I'd belive it... Sad face.com. -
WHO. CARES. Just do it. People were bursting/barraging rock lobsters long before battle robes became useful. You are never going to get satisfying answers. Can I ask you a question? How far have you come since you began posting topics? Gotten any levels? Has your cashpile gotten any larger? Have you made any progress? Im going to post this again just for the sense it makes. STOP worrying about getting the most out of your training unless your names zarfot or something. This is a game and as far as it appears here you just post a thread every two days asking prayer or potions. Just pick something and go for it, fancy soul split? Go for it, or at least try... Want some pretty good potions? Fine make an effort and start going for them.

I was just going to mention this. I believe Jagex has been soliciting ideas to modify bonus exp so that people don't just get absurd amounts of buyable exp? I went 92-99 summoning in that one day. However, almost all those charms were slayed. 4.6k crims and 1.1k blues. Still doesnt make it right or fair on people who either had the level or no charms as they had already used them. I'm 89 sum now and with 5k crims, not enough for 96 which is what im saveing for yet if another weekend came round id have a shot at 97-99, which isnt right. Put as an example would mean I lucked out, not lucked out as you got the arma hilt or something, but lucked out as I got given a hilt by Jagex.... Oh and last weekend I was away on holiday, got back on sunday and burnt all the herbs in my bank on sunday night about 10pm, got from 85 - 88 herby (now 91). If you were wondering. Yes they can be a good idea but they need serious restraints on them.
-
Realise your only 86 magic but just a warning. If your going to be bursting your going to have to be very very careful about when you try and burst, as your going to be a prime candidate to be crashed. Hell if it was me for example that saw you and it was busy and there was competition for worlds I'd crash you in a heartbeat with barrage. Maybe worth upping to something like shadow/smoke barrage if you can cast them?

I've made 500 super antifires, if your planning on training DO NOT USE THESE (deserves caps) at the very worse you can use special restores eventually if you play for long enough, extreme potions obviously are easy to use. Super antifires are the worst to do, you will never use even 10% of that many unless you have some unhealthy metal dragon habbits and thats not even mentioning procureing the 2nds for them which trust me will make you want to kill yourself. If training herby just do enough super antifires for your own use, the feathers are a pain and its just an epic waste, and although cheap, soooo not worth it.
-
Ok with the guess that normal drops cover the cost of prayer potions and I view my extreme sets as free I made them for herby xp pretty much. At the very worst a fury @ 15m if its 20 hours for a gem thats - 750k per hour at something very easy. Also with the ability to do easy farm runs constantly much better than a 6 hour sara trip, and the occasional trip over to ma if i decide to keep it. And if I did want to shift it for its street how would the best way be of going about it? With next to no junk...
-
Well im currently 99 att/99 str/97 def/71 prayer/91 herby/89 summoning and with 750k tokkul obtained from casual play over the course of a few months. I was debating getting the final 2m tok and getting an uncut onyx but only if the rates were decent. Not sure I want to chip away at 50k per hour for example.. I have a heap of plenty special restores and am able to purchase dragon claws if need be, also not averse to piety-ing if required. My question is with my levels and ability how would be the best way to obtain tok fast and efficiently, I dont wish to get one but have spent 15m on prayer potions getting it for example.... Currently was thinking: Niez/SW cape/fury/zerker/barrows gloves/V skirt/D boots/whip (+claws would they really help that much with constant spec restores?) Praying piety with which familiar, pony, geser? if the latter how should i heal? And will I lose a substancial ammount on prayer pots? Or void and uni no prayer? Please dont suggest and bandos armour, I don't own it and definetly can't afford it. If anyone could suggest a better set up or aid in any way it would be appreciated, also rough tok per hour ratio's with that set up if you have xp there? Thanks alot for any hep you can give!

They crashed (thank some god awful merch clan probs) and are now on the way back up again due to natural demand? Oh and there are much worse ge graphs....
