I dont think anyone can only make 200k an hour even on the worst of stats, flat 1's doesnt count of course...

The trick is very effective esp when training if you can flip 3/4 bows or seeds around. 200 or so shots then switch for 50 (degrades 250 shots tied to the player), see the degrade and back again, obviously bad for dk's or boss hunting in general but for training esp slayer isnt to bad.

Bandos is that great for my player archtype. I don't see why you bring the 2k Pure sets or overloads into this, as it has nothing to do with anything. Don't respond again. It's like arguing with a Mormon or Christian on the topic of religion. You can't see past your little box. Pretty sure this will get deleted anyways... I can "see past my little box" and im pretty sure that when pietying a far far better prayer bonus is much better than a tiny boost and a small + str bonus. Either ways I also cba with a massive arguement sure probally bandos + piety is better but if you cba spending the money on at least 85 herby and stewing at the very worst extreme sets, I'm guessing you don't do that. Right back at you don't bother replying :)

@ Mecakoto, to save a massive quote train. But i also have 2k extreme pure sets, plus other extreme sets, pretty decent gear, bandos isnt that great. Oh and also @ 91 herby soon to be 92 when I finnish these pots I can stew overloads easily and trust me they are win for boss hunting. I would say sorry for being OT but obviously the op just has issues...

Actually, I think the newb one is the only accurate stereotype. The other two are completely wrong though. I think the guy in full bandos and dfs is actually a good stereotype, he just described it wrong. It's not a pro slayer, it's a slayer who is obsessed by strength and showing off. How is it showing off? Just how? Wearing Bandos isn't about an "obsession with strength." It is about DPS and hitting as high as possible as fast as possible. It's this little thing people call "fun" that people, like me, like to have. DPS? I generally slay in SH/Swars cape/fury/zerker(fero)/defender/prossy top/v skirt/d boots/whip of course. Oh and i also use extremes on ever task repotted when i hit 120/99 and i also use this thing called piety and a set of something called dragon claws. Oh yeah and I have something like 3k special restore pots in the bank to use. And your waste on bandos/dfs is better how?

Sorry for the old bump. Maybe sara's a bad example of this to melee. but overloads are well worth it for top boss hunting but not so for general training. For slayer etc I use pure sets maybe full extreme sets depending on what im killing. But for boss ncp's, gwd/dk's/corp esp overloads are well worth it. if you dont want to go with a team you have to hope you have some kind hearted friends that will go with you etc... Personally overloads get me double the kills on a solo bandos run for example for a similar cost to extremes. 125/99 maintained is worth it, oh and the 500 lp is nothing, esp if your soloing and can do the log out trick. oh and whip + claws >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> pretty much anything, only thing that rivals it is chaotic long + claws > whip + claws.

Yeah just dont do that with anything monkey madness related. Hated that quest when I did it in my 80's and then dropped everything thinking oh I wont need this... Wrong. Fast forward a few years, oh I'm going to chin; hang on a second *facepalm* as I have to do half the quest again.. Unless they changed it now?

Well I usually farm wergi and sell them grimy on the ge, noticed yday that they wouldnt sell at all yday but clean still auto'd for max... So long story I cleaned my 4k id farmed myself and dumped them (8.8k per), making a pretty nice profit, got the seeds for a couple of k a pop ages ages ago. Now the question I have is has farming wergi's had its day? still got 500 seeds left, should I countine to farm them, or swtich to something like avantoe, toadflax etc (I'm plenty stocked with seeds for everything)? Also any clue what price they will settle on? Oh ps, im 91 herby so not farming for own use just profit, and never get involved with the rare market and things street value etc. Just to help with advise :) Thanks a lot!

I love the stupidity of some rs players. Sure in this case you might not be hurting the economy in the same way as a 76ker a few months ago would have. But for 5 mins a day at the ge with some cash "merchants" can effectively cost the standard joe bloggs player +5% or w/e on their usual trades is daft. GE merchants ARE NOT the same as the classic world 2 merchants or even bank oppertunistis who actually gave a service, now its just people with a cash pile, oh and 3 mins a day or w/e, which is wrong. They don't force players to buy at a price. If a player has some patience then they can just put in offers for mid and get it eventually. GE merchants serve to help the lazy players that want something immediately. casual player on for a 2 hour stint, hmm i feel like training some smithing, goes to buy coal in the 15th min of game. oh i cant buy for med, and has to pay 5 gp etc over. Sure not a huge hit and pays a bit more, but that bit added up makes a large profit for a merchant who does jack all, not like the old merchants who at least had to do a lot of work before. long term that 5 mins overall adds alot of profit for mechants overall, hell how many people here make a few mill a day on a 20 - 25m cash pile flipping commodeties? Either way long term flippers are just parasites on the ge system they serve no real purpose like the old merchants used to, mearly profitering on a flawed system.

^ This I agree. Also this new skill is f2p which has pushed lots of people to skip purchasing members. They have also angered and alienated many of their customers by doing 2x exp and other stupid updates that make 99s easier. 99's weren't a problem until the capes and some players became fixed on getting them. TBH i couldn't care less and will wear my sw cape most of the time..

It doesn't exist. It's just an excuse used by the weak to attempt to usurp the more powerful. Get bigger or go somewhere else. So if you're mining two addy rocks that are side by side and you've been there alone forever, it's ok for someone else to just come in and start mining the same rocks even though they're likely open in another world? It's akin to using a tool in an art class and while you're using it someone who's bigger comes and just takes it. Very Very Very BAD example, addy rocks might be busy but never packed out on every world. Peak hours green dragons are always going to be busy, esp in CT where its effectively ffa, if you can dominate 2 - 3 spots on a high spawn world, why wouldnt you? I'm 99 atttack and str, pretty decent gear to, why should I hop after Ive bothered to train my stats and earn cash just to crash another low level? This isnt 80% of the slayer spots, green dragons are packed, and you have to crash or log on at stupid times of the day. And I'm sorry but if these people are anything like me, thats not my job to do, either train or jog on tbh.

Bored so decided to tidy up my potions tab, there are 3k recover specials and 1k super antifires lower down. Don't think Ive used a single super potion since getting extremes (dont pk). This a good layout for the tab?

99 isnt mandatory though, must admit i saw your post on 99 herby and when you got it you must admit your overloads cost A LOT less than nowadays do. From my point of view I can stew overloads for when i have to use them in small portions, ffa bandos (with friends) /arma with friends/corp (i dont do it)/and then have 2k extreme pure sets in my bank + others. WIth todays prices though unless anyone is 300m+ to advise getting 99 on overloads is just daft, 90 (not really +6 is to rare) - 95 is perfectly good esp for the cost per level.

91 herby here and very glad i got it before prayer. herby very much > prayer but then again yak > overloads

Yeah your def right on the final 3. I mean I always use my mining to get the killing blow... For pvp combat if you want to expand: Summoning - BOB more invy more food, outlast your opponent, fighter, erm titan? Hell even the geser titan is pretty good.. Farming - make a steady 100k+ per 90 mins minimum, thats oobviously worthless for pvp...

Not the case, you just got unlucky. But will have to agree with the above post, the set itself while its uses today are less that they used to be, its still a great set, I bought by first set for 12m back in the day and *never* regretted it yet. Well worth buying, esp at the price it is atm.

Use rangers? On a solo are you insane? Tbh thats a stupid risk and not one anyone should make unless they are 1b+, +2 attack isn't going to make much of a difference for kills aside from a stupidly high risk. On topic though your kills look ok, what I would suggest is just more practice, better confidence on brewing while fireing etc will get you to the extra 4 kills or so, after all arma is about efficiency...
