Well im rather pressed for time to get back on my feet again, either way at the min im rcing (*looks to sig :)*) Making 40k nats at, currently on 18,5k/40k through the abyss. But since the update today i've had killer lagg, I mean the worst ive ever ever had, and i never lagg, not a techy person so can't tell you numbers of theings etc, all i no is if this continues then I am going to die.. repeatedly... Ive done a disk clean up, run other programs and defragged my pc, my laptop is the only thing on our internet connection, never lagged before. And it is just since the update that its happening, i play on low detail and tryed a veriaty of different worlds to see if it was that. Please help, I am very pushed on time to get this money made, 4 days tops, something i simply cannot do at this present time; So could you (anyone) tell me how I could sort this? Is it just a temporay thing? I mean i would wait for it to clear up, just I reall need to fix this. Anyone else had this happen to them?

Sorry was unclear, with all the range updates then there are far far better ways to train range than the old msb and iron (etc) arrows, Chins being a prime example, dark bow to a lesser extent to. They are underrated for what they are, which as you've pointed out does have good points, they are a pain to buy in any sensible bulk though! And just at 65, thats around what just above miths, you could easily buy a lot more of them..

This is why you need a good team full of people you know and trust, say theres 5 of you, if all 5 of you are there at the start of the trip, 5 way split... Its just selfish people who want to try and keep as much pixel money rather than being even a lil bit kind...

Seam to remember on slayers relise they were low priced, and obviously stocked in large quantities, but tradeable, merchants went around buying them up for precicly the reason you just said, hence they are untradeable, to stop people making a hideous profit of them... they seam okay though, id rather skip the tasks that youd need them for, and use chins for range... Also not really new news is it?

It's saying something that when things seem to be not fair for rcers in some aspect, people have to jump to the conclusion that jagex simply hates rcers. I find this difficult to believe. First example. Did you read the BTS? Perhaps not...well, here's part of it. Should be a great RC update. Second thing that makes me mad about this statement. The wilderness was obviously meant for Abyssal RCing. That's why it was released, it was just a huge plot to bring in the abyss. No...The Wilderness is THE ONLY PLACE where you can PK, so don't you think it's fair that pking should have some preference over not just rcers who run away from attackers, but everyone? Besides, i personally have never used a skeleton to aid me in escaping. When i'm attacked by a RC PKer, it's usually right by the mage, where there are a few straggling skeletons, but it doesn't do much because i've just been ice blitzed, and now am being attacked by someone else. And the ditch? Yessss obviously meant to slow down RCers. Why else would you make it? To prevent people from getting scammed? naaaaa One more thing. Unless you didn't RC in the past few days, this update was released well before then, when GWD was released. So...you either didn't RC at the time, or simply just didn't notice it. And i am lead to belive that jagex does at the very least loath rcers, we afterall caused the massive amount of inflation once we got access to the abyss and started doing crazy amounts of nats an hour, pre abyss i did only 400 hour tops, now 1,5k... And yet they seam now to impose things that nerf the abyss effectiveness (I no it was principly aimed at scammers..) yet without takeing the BIG step which is needed. I've said it before here and ill say it again, relise blood rcing and a large proportion of the 77 - 91 rcers will make bloods to double nats time, as they will be a comparable price to nats, I recon around 350 per tops (so slightly better money), yet give way better xp. this will take a large chunk of the produced nats away from the economy, some mages might train by bloods spells with them becoming easyer to attain, and inflation may be cut (a tiny lil bit), but if they'd have done this back when the abyss came out, a lot less nats would have been produced in the first place.... Yeah sorry about formatting, it just makes me mad when people say whiny rcers etc, when jagex dropped the ball big time, I can after all see no downside to blood rcing yet they STILL dont relise it...

Well ive had terribly luck in barrows, done around 50 runs now recently, when it first came out I did another 50, so technically up to 100 now.. Now i know people have gone on longer streaks than me with no item, just ive technically had no item ever, only racks and runes. Its the runes that keep me there as i still make a profit even with no item, i was just wondering wether or not i may be doing something wrong. Basically what i do: Kill all 6 bros. Kill cound of 18 (only chose as its 3* the 6 lol) Best drop out of the 100 ish trips has got to be umm half a key? Imo id go for option 5 (or % lol :P) If you have to think that hard about weither or not to save for it, then you can probally use your money better elsewhere, pots + supplys for 99 att maybe? Also had to kill a few blacks to get around hides, even now they are still packed out...

Damage per second has now increased, always been there with dds (rs2), whip, dharoks set effect, dark bow, all of these are capable of hitting well over 30 (god seplls max), so for all the additional hasstle it hardly seams worth it to use them. If you truely are 91 rcing, congratulations.
