Well, I got my first Abyssal Demon task. What should I take? (I am training Strength)

I think the fastest is using Shadow Barrage (or Blood Barrage when you get 92) on the skeleton monkies at Ape Atoll (the popular chin spot).

I thought people only did 26k because of Protect Item.

(I don't have EE) When I get gargoyle tasks I take two super sets and two bunyips with barrows armor and whip. I usually use 1/2 of the 2nd super set when I am done.

Ok then I don't think I want it.

1. Whenever I view posts asking for RC advice, I always see replies suggesting natures, laws, double astrals, and double natures. How come nobody suggests deaths? They are roughly the same price as law runes and give .5 more experience. Furthermore, weapons and armor can be carried into the Temple of Light. 2. I am considering buying Vesta's Longsword, but I have a question. If I only use it for specials, will it ever go away (when does the degrading time update, every second or every minute)?

Dont forget agility is also probably the most pointless skill out :| Agility is NOT a pointless skill, thanks to the recent update. At 70 agility, I can run around in full Guthan's for a LONG time. Also, it always recharges when I'm done using a bank booth. However, I can't say the same for my f2p pure when I'm wearing dragonhide armor. OT: It is very possible with 53 agility. Two of my friends have completed the quest with that level.

So sword is faster at steel+? Also, i tested at kbd and sword is much faster (for me)

Both the leaf-bladed sword and whip have the same speed. At 99 attack, I still find the sword to be better at steels, mithrils, and KBD.

If both players are in combat too long, they can be pjed.

At 99 attack, I find the leaf-bladed sword to be useful at the KBD, mithril dragons, steel dragons, and black dragons only. The increased accuracy is outdone by the whip's increased strength everywhere else.

At the end of the quest, the Elf with whom you start the quest (starts with an A) gives you a crystal trinket. This trinket allows you to enter the Temple of Light after you have completed the quest.

Since the Wilderness course is in a hot zone, you will gain EP twice as fast as another agility course.

Sara Sword is win, except for dragons. I don't really like the obby sword and zerker necklace, or at least on slayer tasks. The -10 attack and -20 defence really make it horrible on higher level monsters.

When Summoning came out, I switched to Taverley and haven't switched since. I love it because of easy access to the Taverley Dungeon and Heroes' Guild (for glories).

DONT skip hells. They may have horrible drops, but when you get tasks of 194 (like me) its 20k+ exp per task. Also, if you get a task of them, take 3 super sets and 2 bunyips that should last the whole trip.

If you want to burst/barrage you can use the ape atoll spot it should be more exp per spell. As for calculations I cant help you there.

I don't see the problem. I did the quest the day it came out without dying once. Just chop the root and wait until he launches his attack. When he does, run to the next one. Fill up three pyres with logs before lighting any. The beast becomes stronger with each one you light.

I dont think void is a good idea as you could use strength gear and a salve amulet (e)

You should be fine with a face mask and barrows plate + legs. Take your best combat familiar and go to the Chaos Tunnels. It is not that far from the entrance. Your inventory should consist of the enchanted gem, food, and a charged Amulet of Glory to bank.
