I don't know why I haven't thought of this thread by now, since I love reading a good book, or two  . Anyways, I'm about three-quarters of the way into "Daemons are Forever" by Simon R. Green. It's wonderful, and has never lost my interest. I think it's the second in the series, but that doesn't matter. I started reading this book since I found it randomly in the book store, and I had all the story I needed. It's not like in Harry Potter, or Lord of the Rings where you have to read all of the previous books to understand the story fully. Also, I suggest the book "Tunnels" by Brian Williams. The ending is a bit dissapointing, since the authors PLANNED on a sequel <_< but, whatever.

Me mum probably wouldn't approve of me posting this (all the old men stalkers will come to get me, oh no!) but, whatever. I find the internet better when we have faces to connect our friendly personalities with. Add me to the archives if you want [hide=open at your own risk] Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/hide]

Well, that sounds terrific! Tip.it is still better, though

Reply to REflation: I do agree that the term you used was fitting (the author), but it's taken ~2 years; how can it be re-flation? (although time IS relative). Reply to Second article: I love the new skill and applaud it for integrating all the other skills so well... The only downside is that getting solo gets boring after a while. Although, I love how it's supposed to be a group-based skill/activity, but you can still solo effectively. Edit: I agree with Dv_Trainer

Fire cape compromise. New post by Mod Chris L.
I haven't read most of the argument, or fought strykewyrms but one thing I've thought about in the time I have read this argument. If you don't have a good enough connection to fight jad, or the reflexes, how are you going to be able to fight strkewyrms, especially ice ones?

What has changed since 2006?
Can't forget WGS, the doubling in price of onyx, and a new CEO of jagex, and Andrew resigning from his post.

What has changed since 2006?
Don't forget the new prayers, Hunter, and the construction skill (depending when you left in 06')

The first article was ok, but it seemed like the second half was mostly "fluff." The second article is what I've tried to convey to many scapers'; that this is a GAME and should be played for FUN, if you don't find it fun, find another source of entertainment.

New Fairy Rings
Thanks for the thread, now I might actually try waterfiends for charms/tasks

Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands, or Fallout 3?
I was wondering which I should buy, considering I'm buying for the 360, and I only have enough money for on of them. If you were wondering, if buy fallout 3, that it'd be the game of the year edition. I've heard that fallout 3 and Borderlands are supremely good games, and have long-lasting playing times, MW2 is supposedly good for its multiplayer (if you base it off the original cod4). I know that comparing call of duty to an rpg is like comparing addition to algebra, but meh. So what's your guys' opinion for which I should buy?

1500 Total
Congratulations on the level, and keep up the farming - it can be pretty profitable for just planting something and waiting. Off-topic: What's with the 91 runecraft message in the background?

Poll: RSOF Avatars
Meh, I don't really care for the forum avatars, should be a choice between headshots and body-shots (at least, partial)

Leaked picture of a new rs interface?
Would be cool if Jagex added this feature, but it'd be scary to find out how many hours I've actually played :???:

Quest Cape - How did you feel?
Honestly, this year is the year for you. Comparing this year to last (even though it is the "year of upgrades") they used to come out around 2 per month (last year), and now they're like once a month, if not less. Anyways, those are just my opinions. Yes, I'm a quest cape owner. Honestly, I find I have nothing to fill my time where I don't know what to do :? . I'm guessing I got the achievement cape I wanted at the wrong time, because quests this year have been few and far between, so quest cape is low maintenance atm. When I got the quest cape, it was fun, but then it just became another cape. Yes, I do get a sense of achievement when I look at it, but I wish there were more quests to do.

Whats your top item in rs?
Mine would probably be my bonespear. Mind you, this is not a normal bonespear :o , this was a bonespear a great friend gave to me when i first became members. About 6 months after i got members (about), he quit so he could focus on college. Now he's back, so I'm happy, but still keeping it for the sentimental value :

Tip.It Times: 23 Aug 2009
As with most everyone, I did agree with the wake up article, although I don't really want a new skillm to be honest. I think (this is my opinion, mind you) that if Jagex continues adding skills at the current rate, runescape will have 50 skills pretty soon (time is relative, though). And with the WoW article, I did agree. Most people who play Rs can't pay $15 a month, or don't want to waste $15 a month. I also agree with the "can't compare" since, blizzard is a lot larger company.

Your Favorite Runescape God - Poll
I have no idea who that is... #-o If I remember correctly, it's the cabbage Guthix created to create all the other cabbage (it's definition literally means first cabbage). On topic: Anyways, I like armadyl - not just because of the godsword - but because he/she seems interesting. "Luck" Money.
My only "luck drop" that i've gotten, and the only rare monster drop I've gotten, is a drag chain from kalphite queen, on my team's second trip (about the 4th total kill), with me and my clan mates. None of us had killed Kalphite queen before (we only got like 1.1mil each, since d chain isn't worth as it used to be). Here's the uncropped screen - [hide=Large picture][/hide]

Tormented Demons.
Thanks but I already read the guide (have it bookmarked even), and I just want someone to go with me to teach the basics, and then I want to solo. If you guys think my stats aren't high enough, any suggestions would be nice.

Tormented Demons.
I somewhat recently completed WGS - which was my last quest, and got me my quest cape - and one of two situations ensued: 1) My friend could and/or has done Tormented Demons, but he is either busy, or doesn't want to, or 2) My friend is high lvl'ed, but either doesn't have the requirements to do WGS, or doesn't like questing. Anyways, I have full void with ranged/melee helms, and I have a general idea of what to do, but could someone help/teach me? I've been meaning to do them, but I've been putting them off. It'd be greatly appreciated. Edit:Sorry about the second topic, my internet was [Wagon] and wasn't letting me see if i posted my topic.
