You realize a lot of people think computer parts cost a lot more than they really do, right? People seem to think you need to spend thousands and thousands to get a good computer when that just isn't the case. Point is telling him a $200 card when all he plays is runescape is just sort of wasting the guy money (and the card might not even work for him).

That's kinda messed up.

Building your own PC is great but the OP doesn't exactly have a really good knowledge of PC's. Telling him to build a PC, especially when he just needs something SIMPLE, is a waste. Some people on these forums seem so eager to recommend someone top of the line stuff when they just don't need it.

Ugh you people need to stop recommending this kid top of the line video cards for Runescape. Especially when he says he needs to "upgrade to 2GB ram". OP, what are your current specs and power supply. These are sort of important because chances are some of these cards people are recommended would be overkill at best, at worst wouldn't even fit into your machine or would cause the power supply to blow. For Runescape I would go with one of the mid-range cards. People are recommending $200 cards when all you need is something like a 5570 which costs $65 ($55 after MiR). I don't want to call you out Adam, but this is totally false.

Not much going on today. Downloaded a few anime movies and I've started watching some of them. Oh and new avatar :P

Um, probably not in too much of an order Vash'jir: actually a good, centralized storyline across the zone. Travel wasn't bad once you got the underwater mount.[/b] Western Plaguelands: I liked the snipit of the war still going on there and them clearing out the rest of the scourge. Plus Zinkiki the [developmentally delayed]ed troll[/b] Hyjal: The other starter @80 zone but it had some really good progression through the zone as well. Interesting story. Eastern Plaguelands: Probably my favorite now from leveling. This is what a lot of the leveling zones needed to do, have this really interesting story with reoccurring characters in the zone. And I guess for a 5th the Worgen starter zone was pretty good. Seriously though its too bad Blizzard couldn't take what they had going for them with the new leveling to make a more interesting game once you hit the cap. They really made leveling a lot more interesting (at least once or twice through, even though 60-80 really sucks now) but PvP and stuff is as boring as ever. Also didn't even have enough interest in PvE to really do, well, anything.

Not really, was about to maybe work on the portfolio part of the layout, maybe get back to this one after some time away from it. Kind of hard to figure out what sort of changes I really want to do.

Perfect Blue- Satoshi Kon's first movie, it's a very Hitchcock-esque thriller that blurs the line between reality and delusion. Really amazing, moves at a tense pace. Millennium Actress- Another one of Satoshi Kon's works. This one follows the story of an actress as she chases a man she loves to give him back a key. It blurs the line between cinema (the films she was in) and her real life. Really sad film and some amazing use of music.

Man some of you guys have some sort of warped senses of what is right and wrong here. Obviously the old guy is a pedo, is [bleep]ed up and should go to jail. As far as the girl goes at that age, yeah, you can be pretty dumb. However if I was here parents (or guardian, or whatever) [and get away from the fact that I wouldn't let something like this happen in the first place] I would cut off all internet access for her and really try and teach her about safety. Obviously she messed up but she should be punished and taught by her parents, not punished by the law or something dumb. And I don't really think she fully understands the severity of what she was doing. It's kind of hard to pass further judgement without knowing more though.

Man, Satoshi Kon is awesome. (well, was :() Watched Perfect Blue. Man what an intense movie. It seemed to move like at a freakishly fast pace. A lot like Paranoia Agent it really was bluring the lines between reality and delusion. So awesome. Btw a question, are there any anime directors out there that have a style similar to Satoshi Kon? I really love anime that bends the lines between what is real and not, and it works really well as an animated piece and not live action. I'd love to watch some stuff in a similar vein. e: man weird, I was looking on the wiki about him and he died on my birthday. O_O e again: Downloading Millennium Actress, Paprika and Akira.

For me the PvP feels more bland than ever. Like, it feels fairly balanced but it's just so...boring now. It's not like how it used to be where there were a bunch of viable strats and stuff, its pretty much just a combo between C/C and mass damage. The leveling experience was the best the game has had by far but beyond that kind of boring.

Try windowed mode? I quit a few days ago, wasn't playing at all. Not a rage quit for once, more of a "man this is really boring now" quit.
