Recent* Not a 4 or so year old game and a game that's, what, like 10 years old now?

Tell me another good, recent competitve fps other than tf2. To make it easy on you there aren't any lol. Aside from cod the last good ones were like cs and quake 3.

6 wins 1 loss so far with ww. Won 6 in a row. Jungling is real easy, he is also crazy easy to gank with. Usually getting a 16-18 min bloodrzor and full boots, doing dragon at 5 or so too. Low level matches means I can easily steal their jungle for 100% uptime on buffs. Oh and some guy knew my name in a game due to my hon forum trolling haha.

Serious question, why is Heimer underpowered? (or considered so). 2 games in a row I've had a ridiculous CK by soloing (one game 1v2 the other mid) that has allowed me to get full items in 30-35 minutes. I then run around with my rockets + grenade doing like 600-700+ damage and turrets just pumping out damage. He's the easiest guy to farm with ever and it seems like his nukes do a lot of damage. ps: Like 80-85% win rate right now it seems like, and this is solo atm too (roomate gone for weekend). When do people get decent so it's a challenge? e: Oh and people keep adding me after matches. Eff that.

Got the AK47 now. Running silencer and Reflex sight on it, love it. Also found a config that helped my FPS a bit. Still waiting on an official patch (the config makes the draw distance shorter for some objects which is strange) but I'm at least playing at ~40fps or so with some stutters. Had a few good rounds with my AK47 right after I unlocked it.

ca2 are you not getting lag on the PC?

I'm waiting on unlocking AK atm, I liked it when I picked it up. Got two triple kills with the RC car in nuke town lol. Really funny playing that with an 18 player map on domination. :D Still frustrating as [bleep] playing with lag though, my KD sucks because of it. Hopefully GPU patch comes tomorrow or soon.

Going to a college for a semester that I hated because I didn't spend much time really thinking about it. Wasted some money and even worse failed almost all of my courses which has hurt my overall GPA. On the upside however since I was a year behind after that (took a semester off) I was able to go to college with my best friend and have loved it. Guess it goes to show even a mistake can be a good thing sometime.

Played closed beta, had fun for a few days, quit when I realized I pretty much had done what the game had to offer. A significant lack of content in the NA version not to mention no PvP yet (IIRC) and a very small amount of classes made it fairly meh for me. Also it's a pretty loose definition of an MMO considering you're spending 100% of your gametime in an instance (like Guild Wars).

Using the last LMG unlock right now with extra mag and reflex lol. 60 shots in a mag :P. They had a patch today that helped the lag a lot. Didn't fix it by any means but it runs smoother now. Hopefully they'll get another one out soon to really make it run well.

To clarify a bit it is kind of all of the above but it's also more of a bottleneck issue. Black Ops simply isn't using the machines resources well or efficiently or even hardly at all sometimes. (people report like 100% CPU usage 30% GPU). There are people on the forums with i7 rigs that stutter worse than I do. I have pretty bad lag (25-30fps with stuttering) and that's after I did a lot of tweaks. Gameservers is setting out a patch now to fix the sv_rate values on all their servers which will hopefully help a lot. (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1575785). Apparently sv_rate was 5000 instead of 25000 for PC servers. I hope it gets fixed soon. It's fun but my KD is absolute garbage because I'm often playing with like 10-15FPS in combat with stutters and people rubberbanding lol.

I've messed with my config a bunch. R_multithreaded_device "1" helped a little. That alongside of running 1440x900 windowed helped a bit. Btw I cranked all settings to high and lost maybe 1 fps compared to all low lol. Def a problem.

Not missing a ton at the moment. A ton of people have massive lag and stuttering issues on the PC due to some CPU bottleneck bug. Even people with top end rigs are getting terrible FPS. I've got it to the point where its...almost playable... and its a fun game but the lag is killing me atm. Really hope they fix it soon because it's a pretty gamebreaking bug.
