Mac or PC??
I don't think he's going to be using Windows movie maker if he wants to make videos. The only reason, video editing wise, for a mac is to use Final Cut Pro. I stand by that Adobe Premire and Sony Vegas will do everything this guy wants though and fairly easily too. Also I thought I should say: Not worth the price atm, especially with how large all of your video content can get. You just need a large hard drive period for everything. You could get a SSD and copy over what you're working on to it but it's just a waste of money atm really.

Battlefield Discussion Thread
Just got done playing for a while, great game. Been playing rush for the most part, the rush maps from what I've seen have all been excellent. It feels like they upped the damage/accuracy of weapons a bit as well, the shooting feels really solid. Game is optimized better too from beta, so I'm running on full high detail and 4x AA. Oh and the M1 is awesome, enough said.

Mac or PC??
PC. Unless you're absolutely stunned by the mac OS or mac only software (read: final cut pro) there is no need to spend the extra money. Get a cheaper desktop or laptop with windows 7 on it. For video editing some of the best programs are available on both platforms (Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere). There is no need to relearn an OS unless it somehow has a bunch of features you enjoy on it.

Today...
What was that PS3 bug all about? Today, I actually understood all of what we did in Physics. Probably the first time this has happened since the start of this year. I also watched my favourite movie of all time (American History X) again. I'm considering using it as a related text I need for an essay I have to do in three weeks. "Except that it will be fixed. At approximately 6:00pm Central Time (3-2-10 12:00AM GMT). This is almost certain, as anyone who has hard reset the RTC by removing the battery for ten minutes has their console up and running. The problem is that Sony used an off the shelf Real Time Clock (the clock that keeps the real world time current) in the earlier units. These RTCs have a programming error which makes them think that this year is a leap year, which would make today 2-29-10. When this date gets sent to the PS3 OS, the OS says "Hey, that's not a valid date!" because Sony actually programmed their OS correctly. Unfortunately, this invalid date, because it doesn't exist (not because it's the wrong date), is causing the OS to set the date to 1/1/2000. Likely something is happening where the trophy code has a date check that says "trophies go live on xx/xx/xxxx, if the current date is before this, don't work properly". If the server you're supposed to sync trophies to doesn't exist yet (like the PS3 likely thinks), why bother trying to sync to it, just throw up an error. At least, that's what the interwebs have been saying is the likely problem. BTW, the OS is setting the date to 1/1/2000, but that's Greenwich Mean Time. US is GMT -5 to -10 or so, which is the reason your console likely says 12/31/1999." That was the explanation from a joystiq member earlier today.

What reputation? You play runescape. Students at my school like to make fun of RS players. Stereotyping them as nerds and losers and such... Pretty [developmentally delayed]ed if you ask me. Just because a game requires patience and intelligence automatically makes it a "nerd" game. Same goes for any medieval fantasy game. Intelligence, really? Had a test in the morning and then spent the rest of my day playing Uncharted 2 after the PS3 bug got fixed.

Mordin I think is my favourite character in any video game ever. He is just that awesome. I really liked his backstory as well, was one of the better ones I thought.

Even though I love Garrus and will never replace him he always dies too fast in both games. I always use Tali and Garrus no matter the situation in both games; yet they both seem to die fast. Garrus always rushes the enemy and it never works until he gets a little stronger I've always used Garrus. I did the Garrus/Tali combo in ME1 but switched to Garrus/Mordin in ME2. I still stand by that Mordin is my favorite character in ME2. (And he sings!)

Yeah that was fun  I did pretty well on sabotage, my assault rifle is OP as hell. (The last unlocked rifle for SVER with a 4x optical and foregrip). Was like 12-1 on the TDM-ish mode too.
