  1. Range for both methods. (I have voice guide in my youtube but I'm sure your familiar with the solo technique) Melee for Teams. Mage if you are bored.
  2. I've seen multiple "Easter carrot max videos". They involve someone training on a low defense monster for hours until they hit a 3 or an 8.
  3. I haven't visited the caves in like 2 years. So I was rusty. I made the rookie move and died at healers. LOL. Oh well, you can't imagine how long it took to try to survive everything beforehand with a chicken suit and no guthans.
  4. Sacred clay is only worth it for the hammers. That is the only number that matters. Personally I like to collect 10 volatiles and just use them on one skill until all my related volatiles turn into other objects. I get bored easily doing the same thing over and over again. =p
  5. Green dragons for hides, Slayer for clue scrolls, GWD for rare drops. Those are 3 known melee options I always felt I came out with a + in my moneybag. Some people like barrows, I hardly go there as the chest doesn't drop anything for me.
  6. Why not train slayer at slayer tower? Just be careful of pkers. Some of them actually do an occasional patrol there. (I've actually done a few scans there sometimes too LOL. But it's very empty and I'm sure if your cautious, you can tele before you see the white dot teleblocking you.)
  7. I've also heard you couldn't do it with cooking boost for some reason... Best advice is to just try it out and if it fails then...3 more cooking levels for you! lol
  8. Huh? Yesterday, I recall the easter quest "splitting heirs" still on the list. It could still be possible to do the event.
  9. Salve(e) Armored zombies or a Clan dominated Soul Wars world are my suggestions. Otherwise, have fun and good luck!!!
  10. For those of you who have the Easter Carrot, you know that it is the weakest fun weapon of them all as it has: -100 crush attack (double the amount compared to other fun weapons) -Two handed (no rune defenders or zammy books!) Since Crush is what fun weapons do, the other stats don't matter. My challenge is, what can you kill with it? As seen in two of my videos, I cannot hit Jad nor can I hit a mouse with it. [yt]72lNfDNuls8[/yt] [yt]BzbxCBxxiik[/yt] I pass this challenge on to the community. Thanks! Tomcatgt
  11. Those are the exact steps he told me although maybe he clicked around somewhere in between those steps. I asked him because I was penguin hunting on w60 last night and I noticed a moving rock OTHER than the penguin rock spy that was trapped at the climbing boots guy.
  12. My advice to the original poster is take a break. I take frequent breaks as I like to use my time and money on other activities in life. Then after a few months, I would play a month or two of runescape just to off with as many quests as I can.
  13. My advice: First priority- Slayer helm (rune full helm with slayer attack bonuses. It looks cool too!) Second priority- Most annoying monsters blocked (I won't tell you what to block, everyone has a personal and unique reason) Third priority- How to make slayer rings! Then mass make or mass assist. (Relleka fairy ring, summona's closer desert teleport. Vital for penguin hunting!) Fourth priority- Any other tasks you hate blocked. Final priority- Use the rest on slayer runes and sell them for profit!!!! That's what I do although I haven't trained slayer in months haha. If you're curious on what I block: Warped terrorbirds (I rather have a crystal saw) Black demons (Might unblock soon though, they fixed a bug where they weren't dropping loot correctly) Hellhounds (crowded and lack of loot. No they don't have a "higher" clue scroll droprate. I won't even bother debating with anyone about this) Waterfiends (I can't be bothered with something that is picky on how it dies. I get good crimson drops from lesser/greater tasks anyways) I get bored easily, that's why I need monsters that only need a few to kill or are cannonable. Metal dragons I don't block because it's fast and drop good loot (I'm a high level so I guess that's why they are fast) I don't block scarabites (another known blocked monster) because they are perfect for cannon tanker. Like I said, it's really what your stats are and what you are hunting for. I'm into fast Exp (cannoned tasks), worthwhile drops (high level monster tasks), and getting House trophies (waiting for Kalphite task so I can mass farm KQ for her head).
  14. If your video is voice commentary, you need to fuse music within a movie editor that's on your computer. HOWEVER, if your video is only TEXT commentary, feel free to use audioswap. Audioswap comes with youtube. Just upload your video and once it's uploaded and running....go to EDIT VIDEO. Look for the words AUDIOSWAP. Basically it gives you categories and lists of music to which you can replace all sound in your video with. If your video has no sound then well....you're not losing out! Remember to checkmark the box saying you want a song that fits in with the length of your video! You don't want your songs ending early or your video cutting in the middle of a song. Audioswap is basically an agreement that you use their music but at the same time, it allows them to show a 10 second advertisement to the music piece. If you want an example, check out my youtube link on my signature. The current video of Starcannon I have is audioswapped as it should advertise the song "Black Ice".
  15. If they did this, they would have to answer to people who would ask "WHY NOT THIS TOO?!" What do I mean? I mean high level miners wanting private runite rocks as an example. Then you have the economic issue...but it has already been addressed by previous posters.
  16. This quest was masterfully done except for the rewards. But you know what? It's fine because I got to relearn alot of what I've already forgotten (since I did alot of those older quests YEARS ago haha).
  17. I currently don't have a ring of stone nor do I have a fletching cape. But recently this person who was able to move about with as a stone! He said to first access quick prayers. Then do the fletching cape emote. During the emote, you have to go to the prayer menu (which should be in quick style) and press piety 20 times. Then you press the ring of stone. After doing this, you would move around temporarily as a stone! I tried this with turkey emote, str cape, and easter ring. Didn't work. Could someone else test this to see if it's true? Then submit it for Jagex for bug reporting. Thanks!
  18. My biggest fail is recording Jad with the uber hard to hit -100 crush easter carrot. The fail part is that I switched to a halberd and still died. I uploaded the video anyways because going to Jad with no armor and ONLY a chicken suit is good enough to be a video. ;)
  19. Videos of one of the top Starcannon players (Funorb) and a bunch of random commentary guides for you to enjoy (Runescape). http://www.youtube.com/user/TOMCATLX Jad with Easter Carrot maybe? haha
  20. Doing this sort of bothered me as it was tedious work. (Which is also why I'm not much of a skiller.) Someone else should do the video. I hope I inspire any would-be runescape director/producer/actors out there because I'd rather be pest controlling. ;)
  21. Even if this was funny, it proves a point of contradiction in Jagex policies. I'm here to inform them of either: 1)editing the rulebook 2)editing the thieving skill 3)removing the blackjack thieving in the desert. Plus you can't beat the entertainment value of my hard work! (Photo uploading X.X) I encourage anyone to use this. Since I gave permission, it means you are NOT stealing it from me haha! Besides, this photo shoot technically still belongs to Jagex Ltd. It has my screen name tomcatgt on it, so I already have my "signature" in almost every shot!
  22. http://community.livejournal.com/runesc ... 96075.html This is the link to my screenshot parody regarding the blackjack thieving in the desert. It involves "luring" and "knocking out" npcs for experience. I posted this mainly for Jagex staff to refer to after they have recieved my mail. But since it my post wouldn't reach it's full potential, I decided to share to the tip.it forums about the rampant "luring" that can still be found.... in the desert! You do not need a livejournal account to view this topic.
