  1. Void does not get mentioned because it has horrible defensive stats against physical damage. It also has a poor accuracy rating compared to black dhide. The only point to void ranger is to use it in PvP where high hits>accuracy. Bandos does not heal it's own HP like a PvP player would so there is no point trying to use Void to KO him. Some players use void to train but that is the alternative to void ranger use. Bandos does a very high defense rating that would make you hit a lot of zeros against him. Using black d-hide or Armadyl is a better option when boss fighting.
  2. [yt]Q5GQaqoKSSU[/yt] This goes along with the JAD and MOUSE solos I made during the ACTUAL easter 2009 time.
  3. The only reason you would use a mix is if you are potting with Zamorak Brews.
  4. Why not give Funorb a shot? Then you can come back to Runescape in 3 months.
  5. The problem you have is that the people you are looking for can mainly be found in F2P. But Teaks are a P2P tree. Whenever I fly-fish in F2P, I dropped my fish. Within half an hour, I can find at least 2 new players swarming over my fish. Then from there I just trade them my inventory and they are happy with the "free st00f plx". There was a day where I burned people's teaks...but I was being cheap. I don't do it anymore after realizing that burning maples didn't cost any more for extra exp. When I used to burn teaks on that one random day, I looked up the RSOF forums.
  6. You only need to water your plants if you do not have a farmer looking over your crops. If you did your Falador Diary level 3 task, you can get these special blue lilies to plant in the flower patch and they protect all crops from disease. Thus you won't need to water plants in that situation either. Farmer payments or the blue lilies PREVENTS disease 100%. It DOES NOT help against herbs though. But you can't water herbs anyways. The only herbpatch that has a 100% success rate is the one up in trollheim which requires My Arm quest.
  7. You can trollheim teleport if you have lunar. Lunar magics is worth using if you are in a team. In solos, it might be more wise to fill those spots with more brews/restores. The best boss's to use vengeance in team fights are Zamorak and Corporeal. They have attacks that are unblockable. Armadyl is a decent choice too if you are bored. Using it on Bandos and Saradomin is a waste because these two bosses don't output enough damage when you try. (Yes they do LOTS of damage if you DON'T TRY. But who goes to GWD to not try?)
  8. Broad Bolts are great for everything hands down. The only time you need to switch into another method of ranging is in PvP (BH and PvP worlds... NOT Castle wars type.) and Boss fights. That is when you need Dragon Arrows/Dark bow or Rune xbow/Onyx bolts (e)/Diamond (e)/Ruby (e).
  9. Although both whip+defender and Godswords are fine choices, people prefer godswords because it provides space and power efficiency. You have a decent melee weapon that provides arguably some of the best specs in the game (Except Zamorak Godsword. I will say that special bites. That's my vote.) It also has prayer to go along with the weapon. IDEALLY, you could just bring a BGS/AGS/SGS to special attack then switch to a whip and shield but it's better to just load those spots with extra potions. "Why didn't you put ZGS?" Because it sucks! LOL. (Don't give me that "Oh it's good at SGWD!" It sucks!)
  10. When Mechscape comes out, who will be the first the record the actual gameplay? In the meantime, if you haven't seen these. See it and then get mad at me afterwards. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgpUmX7k_K4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiDCSf8ZUug
  11. Broad bolts are NEARLY as good as addy. They are your economy bolt of choice. Use broad bolts in every situation you can except boss fights and pvp. Those are better with Addy/Rune/Onyx enchanteds.
  12. They become members objects that cannot be used. You cannot have extra space to compensate for them. In addition, you can't drop members items so the only way to reclaim your inventory/bank freedom is to resubscribe. Think of it as licking a frozen steel pipe on a cold day. (Probably a bad example. Whatevers.)
  13. All skill capes are good. Base your decisions on whether you like the skill or whether you like the colors of the cape. That's what individuality is all about.
  14. Here are your options: Statius= Best. But so expensive and the fact that it goes away after a few hours makes this useless. Vesta= Read Statius Guthan/Torag/Dharok= They are all the same. Choose one that fits your flavor. Mind you that I'm only comparing body pieces. Dragon plate= Expensive. It's more of a status symbol. Dragon chain= Useless relic Granite Plate= If you plan on using D chains, this is the better option. However, it has a bad reputation as being "nooby armor" but who cares about what people think. Sacred Clay= Same as rune but MUCH lighter to wear. Has a somewhat bad reputation too because of it's ease to get. Bando Chest= If you are going to dish out money for Dragon plate, buy this instead. It's just better. Verac's Brassard= A little better than rune but has a great pray bonus with it. Anything I have not mentioned is because they are needed in a set or it just outright sucks. There's also a possibility I forgot some things. (No I don't like Fighter Torsos. I'm not a str pure.)
  15. You don't need "safespots" for metal dragons. They range you 100% if you stand away from them. You can't pray against the attack because it's in its own class. The Dragonfire class. You need a antidragon shield and some antidragon potions. Then you are set. Here is a video showing what they kind of do but it's mostly geared for melee players. [yt]urbdEPkDYP4[/yt]
  16. You can't have a pet out when training at ape atoll, I believe. Otherwise, people would be bringing terrorbirds to the courses.
  17. With your budget, I say go for whip, glory, and black dhide. You can substitute black dhide for sacred clay. If you plan on doing pvp type minigames and such, use barrows. If you go the black dhide route, Rune crossbows are wonderful to use as well. But to wear black dhide, you have to get your range to 70.
  18. If you're going for a sailor girl look, yeah stick to gear catered to that. Otherwise, I'd experiment with vyrewatch, holiday costumes, and elegant. Try mixing and matching around. Maybe a White elegant top does the trick. Since you like white boots, go for white gloves. The only white gloves I can think of are cooking gaunts and mimes gloves. Do white knight gloves exist? I don't know.
  19. I like Way 1 and Way 3. But I'd choose Way 3.
  20. Use Sacred Clay armor with weight reducing equipment. Sacred Clay has the best defenses for being such a lightweight armor set. Remember to use mage prayer to compensate for the lack of magic defense. EDIT: Make sure it's Sacred Clay MELEE armor.
  21. I had this happen before with bronze knives against Armored Zombies. I thought it had to do with my guthix bird (because I was raising it at the same time). I am guessing that bronze knives and a pet/familiar out gives your weapon a VERY RARE (2) poison damage.
  22. If you are soloing melee style, you need a godsword. This is because godswords can still be used in a hit and run manner similar to Range. If you are going on a team, feel free to whip all you want. If you are whipping solo, you will be hurt tremendously as Zilyana will be using both magic and melee attacks in rapid attacks similar to throwing darts speed.
  23. Fighter Torsos are either: The poor man's training armor. or The low level str pure's choice of armor. Even then, Void melee owns both categories except for the fact that Fighter Torsos are easier to replace. The defensive stats are the same as addy. However, most pvpers use slash weapons so you can compare the body to rune if only comparing slash defense bonus. It is honestly better to get a Granite plate if your a low level or barrows if your a high level. Bandos chest plater would work if you have lots of money but I'd still stick to barrows.
  24. You don't have to pay them again but honestly with a decent log (like maples) and a near perfect travel plan, you don't need to even use the attendants. Since I'm below on the FM, I had to spicy stew and start with the one in the wilderness. Those two I would put Yew logs. Every other beacon, I would prepare with Maples. Then one more spicy stew would grant me the ability to light them and it's basically a game of beacon tag from this point on. If you want to go cheap and use regular or oak logs, then you use the attendants. But willows and maples are so oversupplied in the GE that there really is no point using inferior logs.
