Back in the days, I've made mine with spicy stew +5 and saw. I've never once got a -6 or a +6 with stews. It must be super rare. I think the only thing crystal saw doesn't work for is gardening at your POH.

If you plan on standing still in one spot then use a whip+shield. If you move around alot to avoid damage, use a Godsword. Godswords are only really only useful in Boss fights and PvP as you are sacrificing speed for that extra bump of accuracy and strength. But if your target is large, you can negate the speed disadvantage by "safespotting" or "dancing" with your opponent. For NPC monsters, I would consider using a godsword when they are around level 300+.

Looking at your personal slayer motives (No cannon + ranger safespots only), I'd say block: Definitely: Warped terrorbirds (because they just suck) Scabarites (because you refuse to use a cannon) For final two pick amongst these: Dust Devils (because your focusing on ranging) Waterfiends (because your focusing on ranging) Aberrant spectars (because your focusing on ranging and no cannon) Goraks (because your focusing on ranging and no cannon) THIS IS ASSUMING YOU ARE ONLY TALKING TO DURADEL/LAPALOK. If you talk to other slayer masters, you will get really bad tasks. ====================== I personally block: Waterfiends because reds are plentiful from other mobs. They aren't cannonable and they have no spectacular drops. Hellhounds because all they drop are gold charms. They are often too crowded for cannoning. Warped Terrorbirds because I want my crystal to be a saw, not chimes. Black demons...actually they updated these recently to have better drops. I would unblock them...but it would cost me points to block something else. My reasons to not block something are as follows: Type 1) They are cannonable for fast exp. Type 2) They have a chance to drop something rare. Type 3) They are given at such a small number that the task would net me easy slayer points.

ZMI is straightforward and fast exp. but if you are in it for the money, your better off using the abyss or becoming a pro at Great orb project. I started ZMI like around level 50. But I only do it when I have the rare urge to RC. Strap on the light weight Sacred clay armor, make a few runs, then I stop. I've seen myself craft all types of runes there...bloods...souls. But the numbers are so random that you shouldn't expect yourself a guaranteed crafting of all runes in one run.

You will reduce his max hit to like 7 damage with that combo. Don't forget antipoison. I recommend waiting till you get a black dragon slayer task though. It makes killing KBD much faster.

I think the only places that count as "wildy" is when you see the Wildy level/Rev icon on the bottom right of your screen.

Void melee is only good in situations where you need a good magic defense and a great attack. The only use I can think of is waterfiends when it is NOT A SLAYER task. Some grind them for the crimson charms. Void range is only good for PvP. It's inaccurate but it hits high. Unexpected high hits is a necessity in PKing. If you just hunt monsters, use Black Dhide instead. If it's a boss monster, you should be relying on black dhide accuracy with Ruby bolt specs.

The summoning guide on tip.it mentions this somewhere. It's something like you have to be 4 levels above the pouch in question so that it can be traded. You get 70% of your shards back. I'm not sure of these numbers, but the summoning guide has the exact ones.

In addition, if you are looking to train your range and mage, you can join a 110-120+ soul wars clan. The major soul wars worlds has clans in them. I'm an ex member of a SW clan because I wanted to finish off the last 4 levels of my Strength, Range, and Mage levels. I can't help you get recruited because of their strict clan rules but I know of two major ones to help you get started on your search: Soul Slayers and Soul Reapers. I don't know what clan dominates W145 though. Unless you see yourself Darts/kniving + Sting amulets/alching all day (HUGE time commitment) or Cannon/Chinning + Burst/Barraging all day (HUGE money commitment) Soul wars is the way to go.

Based on the type of activities you just listed, DFS and Spirit shield is the best for you. If all you do is Range, Spirit shield. Otherwise, DFS has a more broad spectrum of uses. BGS is mainly for melee boss hunters. Anything with a high defense level gets nuked with a BGS.

Green dragons for their hides. Aviansies for Adamant bars. or just stick to slayer and make sure it's level 3 scroll droppers (Duradel/Lapalok). Getting god trimmed armor could set you up 700k+. Don't forget the rare possibilities of 3rd age.

Functionality is always better than exp in my opinion. Functional items have a use and are also easy to sell in a surplus situation. So yeah you are right about rings of dueling...etc. So: Orbs -> I don't make staves because of the effort to charge them...this one is going to your own personal issue. Bars -> fuse with gems Sapphires -> Necklaces Emeralds -> Rings Rubies-> (er they are better for fletching bolt tips. Not crafting) Diamonds-> (better for fletching bolt tips. Not crafting) Dragonstone -> The best piece of jewelry you can make Flax -> I'm pretty sure you can only do one thing with this... bowstrings. I'd rather sell it instead of stringing it. Grinding is annoying. Time = Money. In my opinion, Dragonhides with SC needles are best. You can train your combat quickly with Green Dragons and then keep the hides to tan later. Overall you will be developing multiple skills with more exp. Sometimes its good to be cheap but sometimes you can also waste alot of time and overall exp doing so.

Enhanced Excalibur is a reward for doing all your seers diary task. It heals you 20 hp and give you a defense boost with every special attack. I find that Enhanced Excalibur and some random food is all I ever need. Dust Devils drop alot of Ugthanki Kebabs so that should help replace lost food.

I was in your situation and I got soooo bored after getting like 20 castle wars tickets (I'm also trying for CW GOLD but I usually end up putting it off after a couple of games). My advice is to make videos and join "Mod MMG" cc. They both can be fun although the cc can be quite spammy. Anyhow, these are the only things that would give me an incentive to play Runescape nowadays. Maybe it will help you as well. Soloing bosses can be fun too. Then there's PvP. Some prefer BH while others prefer PvP worlds.

If money isn't a problem, buy as much as you can! I'd say 100k cannonballs is a start.

I'd think that they may have accidentally stumbled upon the Wizard of Oz effect. I'm pretty sure they were focusing more on developing moralistic stories and spoofing popular media films like "mission impossible" Nonetheless, nice find. If they did plan this out in the bigger picture, good for them. But honestly, I think the best evidence to find if this was an accident is within the credits of who developed what quest. As for the offtopic discussion regarding Jagex's updates, it's offtopic...so I'll TRY to limit what I will say lol. I'm just going to say that some of the small fixes and recent updates have been really helpful to me. Run update, off-line grave preservation, and the Enhanced Excalibur has all been great additions to Runescape. You can't please the world, some people will be purists and say they would rather have restore run potions, loss of graves through disconnection, and the original Excalibur. This is how the world is. When one person is satisfied, another person is not. I also have to mention that happy people usually do not feel the need to express their happiness while the upset have every reason to rant about every tidbit in their lives. Thus the supposed disproportionate ratio between the Satisfaction and the Complaint.

The only reasons people say slayer is because 1. They have been morphed into slayerbots because thats how level 100+ players think the game should be played, so they listen.. 2. They actually think "If you're going to train, you may as well train 3 skills at once. Not just 2. Since you will one day say 'I need such and such slayer level!" heh. Most mmorpg quest systems are actually Runescape's slayer system. Princess Witch of Kakakalululu: Hero! You must claim an Orc's Ear so I can mix it in my potions! (Translation: kill 2000 orcs.) (0/2000 orcs killed.) (2000/2000 orcs killed. Ear of Orc. 1 acquired.) You have completed the quest! Princess Witch of Kakakalululu: Hero! You must claim an Chicken's Feather so I can mix it in my potions! (Translation: kill 10000 chickens.) (0/10000 chickens killed.) ... ...this is why I hate slayer when it was released. I used to play a bunch of grind happy Korean mmorpgs just so I can make a character PvP-able and it was not fun...
