  1. If you killed the daggonoth mother, you should be able to access that place whenever you want. Use a games necklace to teleport to barb assault minigame. Hop the stones north. Then go in the lighthouse.
  2. Yeah this one is the fastest. Go to a soul wars world. I say W44 is best since you need tons of targets. If you can...join the clan that owns that world. Otherwise be good at identifying their Deathdots and teamswitches in a timely manner. Barrage Barrage Barrage Barrage. Gather 100 zeals each time and use them on Magic exp. ===Why soul wars? Why not pest control?== Because it's hard to find a big group of pests to max barrage. You get only 1/2 combat exp per hit in Pest Control. It's more satisfying to down rude players who overuse the term "GF" when it's not even a BH or PvP world.
  3. There's a rumor that wearing range armor increases the effectiveness of the cannon. I think it's a myth but then again I really don't care. I just want my slayer task finished. I can't answer the SC armor question, that's something you should test yourself. What I can say is that it helps against almost every High quantity low risk slayer monster out there. Things like Daggonoths, Mutated Bloodvelds, and the monsters in the pollinveach well. I think the most noteworthy one is it's value in scarabarite tasks. You just tank the damage and take out the 50 scarabaite mages/rangers/meleers with the cannon. Without the cannon, this task would be not efficient with all the crazy poison, disease, and damage you can get from scarabarites. Basically doing it only for slayer, you should be able to make money back from cannonballs from all the herb drops of most slayer monsters. If you only want range exp, I used to use them alot in Daggonoths. Just focus on picking up the herb seeds.
  4. I vote for putting in the house. Well my reason was because they used to have a severe pet limit. But now, they've doubled the amount of pets you can have. The problem is, you still have to play alot of soul wars and you also have to feed the thing as well. In a house, you buy a couple of planks and BAM! Mtv cribz check out mah abssyal head! It's gangsta yo.
  5. Honestly, only teenagers obsessed themselves on the term "nerdy". When your older, it starts to matter less because you really don't give a !!!CROPS CIRCLEZ!!! about what others think. People who are older and are STILL obsessed over insecurity issues are often unemployed or working at low wage occupations. You can put the word "nerd" in anything in life. There are times I use the word for fun like when I call one of model friends a "fashion nerd" or one of my gym buddy's who's more fit than me a "fitness nerd". So you can pretty much "nerd" anything in life. It's just a term saying your knowledgeable on something. Used mostly "negatively" apparently.
  6. If all you care about is the money, do Tormented Demons. You can make large amount of kills before having to restock. 1 kill per trip is not good odds for money. The highest I've heard anyone solo Bandos, Armadyl, or Zamorak was about 3 kills per trip. That is still not good odds compared to something like Saradomin which can net you 10+ boss kills (not including the subboss kills).
  7. I thought about that too when I took a second glance at it but thought about not saying anything... ...UNTIL NOW!!!! There's three possibilities on what this image is: 1) By glancing at it quickly, I can assume it's day/night because of the lighting in the sky and on the door lamp. 2) It's a montage of before and after. Shot 1 is Current Runescape and the last three shots are updated versions. Last frame being the most enhanced. 3) It's a montage of before and after except that the last three frames are supposed to show a real time change from night to day. Basically a combination of the first and second possibilities. 4) It's a montage...again....before and after except the last three frames are OPTIONS to what it could become. Perhaps they are looking for player feedback saying "OOOH!! I like the colors on that frame 3 alot!" Looking at it in detail, it's obvious that alot of graphical features are missing in the first frame to think it's option 1).
  8. I've seen day/night implementations in almost every mmorpg I've played. Runescape is probably the only big company game that hasn't done this yet due to the limitations of Java. After the improvements to Java technology, I'm assuming they are going to base it off every other mmorpg...that means they will have an in-game time system which would fully cycle a day-night routine every 6 OR 12 hours. To summarize and answer your question: Option 1 with a shorter day time span so players around the world can have a chance to experience day change. The system is already there..."FARMING SKILL". The only issue that comes up is having to graphically design 4 different versions of "outdoors" runescape to fit the time changes.
  9. Based on your defense level, it might be safer to use the shield option. But if you have attempted the caves before, go for the zammy book. If you do choose shield instead, I discourage using Obby. The only shield worth the negative range stats is the DFS. Otherwise, you should consider a simple Rune kite or a unblessed spirit shield. If you want to be safe, you could use diamond or ruby.... but honestly Broad bolts make Jad 10 times easier compared to the outdated Crystal bow method. I personally tested this because I needed a few more fire capes for... other reasons. Runecrossbow = So much easier to kill.
  10. the fact you got that far without armour is just amazing lol most people range till jad then kill it with whateva wep they want :wall: It involved: - an extra hour of my time - confidence in my pray flashing against the 360s - strategic killing after wave 37 - a whole lot of running and retrapping after wave 52 - Wave 60 was probably the most dangerous. I brought 4 pineapple pizzas, 18 prayer pots, 3 sara brews, and super restore for this. Then Muggi told me on these forums that Easter Carrot has 0% chance of hitting anything at all... I made a vid right after to see if that was true... [yt]BzbxCBxxiik[/yt] It was true. I studied the "Easter carrot max hit videos" and realized it was a hoax. They used a dart before switching into the carrot. (Here's a bonus one I made recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5GQaqoKSSU . The inventory was different because I cleared my bank and I had to...improvise LOL.) (Mod Dan M stole my gnomeball...)
  11. Some of you may have seen this but since it's on topic: [yt]72lNfDNuls8[/yt]
  12. They actually used to be the same price. I think they updated it after seeing how [developmentally delayed]ed it was to keep the cost of "new" and "used" the same. I personally dropped like 10 depleted sets on the floor because of the same price reason. That was also realizing that Sacred Clay (charged) only helps mid-levels. You actually earn less xp as a high strength character due to potential exp earned versus time spent in the minigame.
  13. Verac's is pretty nice for prayer defense combo. Otherwise, choose between Torag's, Guthan's, or Dharok's. The platebodies are all similar in stats but you should look into how much each of them are priced. Due to the BH+1 update, Dharoks is probably not a wise pick right now.
  14. Out of the options you have given, having a high magic level is pretty rewarding. The magical defense from a good magic level is a perk. The travel options with teleports are versatile. You can even fire wave at that imp who has been eyeing at your girlfriend for the past few days.
  15. If you can't bother with ancient magicks, then do this: Whip+RuneCrossbow+BroadBolts Yes Bolts cost money but these are a BARGAIN when you compare the price and power efficiencies. Every time you leave your castle, bring full meds and 2-3 barricades. Whip normally during the game but switch to Crossbow to take down flagholders. Crossbow is super accurate and it gives you the option to shoot while you use the cooldown time to: Hop between stones at rivers/Adjust waypoints so you don't get trapped at a central bridge. If they hop around the stones, use your cades to trap them in. An ALTERNATIVE could simply be bringing Snaring runes but that costs money. These tactics only work if they are the flag runner types. If they are hide within a crowd of defenders type, the only option you have is to rush with other attackers. Usually in that situation, you really can only rely on Ancient Magicks.
  16. There are only two options: Get 99 on Teaks. or Get CLOSE to 99 on Teaks.
  17. Warped Tortoises need to be Chimed in order for it to be attacked. That means if you "semi-AFK" against it, you'd most likely be hitting 0s like most of the time.
  18. Hmm... seeing how you already have 99 woodcutting. I understand your situation now. If you want 99 fm fast, you should only focus on the ring and gloves. In my opinion, the adze is more of a "free dragon axe" and a status item than anything else. The multitask log burning is alright...but only if you still have plans to continue raking up exp in WC. From watching adzers, I notice it to be infrequent in when it chooses to burn the logs. I think it might be helpful if you were going for 200m WC. Otherwise, tinderboxing is better.
  19. Adze works on all trees. I can't answer the ring and gloves and adze question because my adze doesn't burn logs. I imagine it would carry over though. (Huh? You don't burn logs when your using the adze?) Yeah because I can't wield it. So basically I cut Magic logs without burning a log. (Huh, but you are NOT level 92 fm. How did you get/use an Adze?) Well that part would probably make you happy. Spicy Stew my friend. ============== ABOUT LEP's MAGIC: The lep will tell you that his magic would only work on specific trees. He states which ones if you talk to him. Therefore, it wouldn't work on trees like Teaks and Eucs.
  20. Besides the methods you have mentioned above, Soloing Saradomin GWD. and Teaming Saradomin GWD. Yeah...that's all I can think of. Everything else costs too much in potions and food to be profitable.
  21. Slayer helm looks cool and has awesome defense bonuses (Rune full equivalent). Otherwise, it doesn't do anything else for a ranger. Perhaps some people are superstitious of hidden updates?
  22. If you see yourself doing fight caves for the next few weeks, go for guthans. If you plan to do alot of boss hunting, go for Veracs. It's also a good minigame/dueling set. Dharoks is not a good time to buy right now. It's a PK-KOing/ Non-Dueling set and right now the update is making this set price drop like mad. I'd recommend just buying Guthans for now.
  23. If you are avoiding Revs, just run and then switch worlds.
  24. Rune Crossbow with either a) Broadbolts B) Ruby bolts c) Diamond bolts Unholy book > shields. As for armor and equipment, I'll let other people handle that.
