A lot of players choose Morphic. Since SC is best used for the hammer, this would be a wise choice. However, I personally hate doing the same thing over and over again. If I had a goal, I would choose Morphic. Seeing as how I don't need to raise any skills for anything drastic (quest/diaries), I choose volatile. If you do the volatile path, make sure you buy the max limit of volatile tools which is 10. Then Morph all of them and see what you get. Train one skill with the tools until they all change into something else. You get a lil more bang out of your tools and it signals to you when to break the monogamy of powertraining one skill.

I've read a number of guides and they all state that Oak dungeon doors are the fastest exp. If cash was not an issue, wouldn't it be faster to just train on mahogany planks in the workshop instead?

Can't beat that awesome first try attempt at a DFS in slide one! hahahah

I did this in 15 minutes. I copied the previous image and made my own. If it rocks, thanks! If it sucks, I tried! LOL. EDIT: I noticed some grammar errors (which are ok) but biggest flaw is "WALK HERE" when it should be "ATTACK". Oh well =(.

I remember a few weeks ago in the rsof when players suggested adding these bones to the GWD monsters. It seems the ourg bone thing came true.

What direction should I take my account in?

If you plan to "Dangerous" PvP alot, stick to 70 70 99 with 99 range and mage. It's probably good to get a few attack levels so that you can at least wield a GS. If you want to make it easier for you, stop at 96 mage for spellbookswap (barrage PLUS vengeance) or 94 mage for barrage/vengeance. From that point, start training your strength only to 99. If you plan to do alot of PvM, Just do whatever you feel like it and make it into a main LOL. Probably alot of melee first just to make your life easier and cheaper. Don't worry about the summoning, it's fine. There are certain check points to look out for. Terrorbirds are necessity. The next are flame/water/earth titans and then finally Unicorns. Both can be useful in PvP and PvM. I guess you can count Steel titan as the final checkpoint but I consider that as the GOAL (99). So either shoot for these levels or keep your summoning as loowwwwww as possible. I used to put checkpoints at tortoise and bunyips but.... Turtles are expensive and Bunyips are replaced by Enhanced Excalibur. Plus these two only are helpful in PvM really due to their cost and lack of true usefulness in PvP. -
I agree range tank with prayer. Only stats you should care about are Range, Defense, and Prayer. HP...just comes. I'm not going to talk about getting magic because 1 week isn't enough to become an ancients range tank. If you can set up a obstacle arena, you pretty much win. Of course, providing that you know how to Range hug AKA hit and run tactics. I don't know how fast you can train in a week but it's typically good to be able to wear at least Green Dhides and have enough prayer to get the ranger buffs. Oh and if you guys are planning to P2P it, you will win even more because Crossbows+Shields own. If it's F2P, stick with the shortbows. If it's face to face and it's P2P... Crossbows just has so much accuracy, it's ridiculous. If you need a demonstration of what Range hugging is, I have a "PvP" video and a short "for fun" soul wars video in which I pick off people with range using obstacles. Keep in mind, that if you fight a complete melee noob or a person who cares about "honor" (AKA who spent the most time on their Pokemon) over reaction skills then you can effectively safespot them while they are mindlessly trapped by obstacles.

Non-traditional sources of raw materials

Alot of monsters drop food, herbs, and combat items. However, one of the most notable I've seen are Armored zombies. They drop tons of Pure essence, Oak planks, Teak planks, normal planks, etc. They are all noted as well! -
That's amazing! That should be one thing I will try to do when I get back to P2P. But yeah, Blackjacking is just faster. You don't have to wait for things to line up once you get the blackjack routine setup in the proper area.

Whats happened to the meat shop at ooglog?!!!
TomcatLX replied to Mercifull's topic in General Discussion
It was announced but as an obscure update. Many people were ranting that it was not right so they changed the culimancer's chest back to the way it was. I guess Jagex never changed the ooglog shop back. Supposedly there was a method in which people RWT with the shops. Although I see it being possible, it really is very minor and Jagex probably has gone too far with the whole RWT war. The war on terror-birds. Ehh bad joke nm. -
Defense emote: Thump thump thump. Thump thump thump. THWOMP!!!!!

First secure your computer and your passwords. Next, gather some flax until you have money for axe or a pick. Mine and cut some cash till you can buy rune scimmy. Grab a anti dragon shield from lumby king. Then kill some green dragons and sell the hides. Work your way into having some armor. Until then, pray flashing is your friend.

I just done my part. So if a person is "OTHER" as gender, that means... nevermind.

LOL I love this first reply! I don't mind the stick figures but a joke is about the content, not the graphics. But that's just an opinion. Some people are gifted at using words to be funny while others are better at creating representative images that are funny. ...Anyways, yeah the content was not that funny. The first reply was though hahah! Constructive criticism? I think it's the last frame that needs work. Alching in the first frame is a good idea but the last frame...probably something else since you are directing your comedy in the VIOLENCE style. Hacking isn't a good one.

You're not doing it right. You are supposed to flash before the enemy attacks as in before the 360 shoots the ball. You don't flash before the ball hits you. That means, pray flash before a baseball pitcher pitches. Not when it is already pitched.

Fletching, firemaking and cooking - Skillcapes of dirt?
TomcatLX replied to RuneAge's topic in General Discussion
I find fm quite useful in tagging up the Varrock streets for your "Runescape gang". Black arm mudda ffffffuddddaass!!! 8-) That and making hearts. (more info in my firemaking video...but it's not appropriate for the forums ;)) -
If it works, congrats on your new shield! If it fails, send a rant to Jagex!

Just looking up and down this thread it appears to be either 20 or 22. I can't say that I have a lot of personal experience in Farming but a "max harvest" chart would be a nice addition to the current guide here on Tip. I'm interested out of pure curiosity about Torstol in particular, since it's the highest level herb that can be planted. Does your Farming level actually affect your max total number of produce, or just increase the chance of getting a greater number? You know how there is "max hit videos". You've just given me an idea!!! Although, I'll probably work on a "max harvest video" when I decide to P2P again. I'll make sure it's heavily edited with hardcore Farm owning music!!!! I'll even Barrage AGS spec something nearby before I harvest!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and of course I will edit out the times I get fail harvests because I am such a pwnage farming pker!!!!

Priceless. Game accounts are meant to enjoyed by the owner. I have played other games where people spend 12 hours a day training their account only to sell their account for a couple hundred at the end of the month. So let's pretend someone trains that and makes $1000. 70+ hours a week, 250 US dollars, that's like $3.50 an hour. Wow. Honestly...you make more money from working at a MINIMUM WAGE JOB and you can't even put video game related stuff as a resume builder. But I guess with exchange rates and working ages, it is an option for people. Especially people who prefer to live in fantasy land over reality.

During the bunyip rise, I took advantage of the situation by getting rid of all the green charms in my bank. As you know Green charms are very bad to train due to the expense but the rising price helped that out. Anyways to be more closer on topic, the "manipulators" of the GE are more in line with Pyramid schemers in real life. Those who are on the bottom (the most recent to join in) will always lose out. I really have mixed feelings about the situation so I can't really comment on the practice. I feel like it is a bad thing because it is like an implicit "hot potato" version of a monopoly. At the same time, knowing how to take advantage of the situation (like training green charms during a bunyip rise) makes these "manipulators" a useful advantage in the system. So you may have noticed I use manipulators in quotes. That is because originally the term was used to define anyone who did not own the item but spammed the RSOF with prices in the attempt to make up a new price. Those who actually OWNED the item were free to set whatever price they wanted since it's their property and their money. It was up to the consumer if they wanted to pay since the idea of Competition helps safeguard any "unfair pricing". It's more of a legal wording issue but many players were confused and alot of misconception was formed by the majority who didn't read the market rules before the GE came out. I'm personally an investor and I know that whenever I go on my long hiatuses, I have to rely on people changing the graphs up and down. It kind of makes you think if the real world Stock exchange works on the same principle... Do those with the power and money change the markets while the masses must try to skillfully predict which markets are being "manipulated" before it's too late? Is that why some people make such bank in Real life while others cluelessly treat the exchange like if it were a Casino? (BTW, it still bugs me that I didn't buy alot of Ranger boots before I went off for a long period. 600k to 6m per boot would have been....sweet... *checks graphs* Wow and now they are at 7m! But oh well, at the time, I predicted that they would have made a ranger armor update to compliment the bandos boots and infinity boots out there.)

Probably when construction came out. I know of people who don't bother with construction so they end up cooking the Big Sharks they caught like normal. This one fisherman told me he cooked around 20 of them in his p00ning lifespan.

Lol sorry, I really don't know the price of those anymore. I remember buying one just to "pinkify" it for my pink suit.

Your skills are still too low to feel it. You're a decent level, but you still have so many things to shoot for. When you start running out of goals, that's when it gets depressing. Ahh yes I see what you mean. Usually when that happens (which is pretty much now) I quit Runescape so that I can pursue other interests. After a few months to a year, there should be enough quests to keep me busy. I've even exhausted my Funorb capacity since my whole spiel with that is maintaining the number 1 position in Starcannon. (I'm not sure what the rules are about NON JAGEX games or real life stuff so I'm not going to waste post space with that) I actually have almost everything Runescape has to offer thanks to Spicy stew. I have a spirit tree, an Adze, and all the diary rewards. Not a big fan of 99s JUST for the 99. I like doing things that involve the "skill factor" over the "time factor". Pretty much the only boss I can't solo is the Corporeal Beast LOL. (And apparently the easter carrot doesn't work on mouse...so why I bothered using it on Jad? I don't know ROFL) Usually combat is the only skill that needs to be maxed but other skills are only "max worthy" at certain levels. If anyone asks me to "make a pure", I will barf on them. I enjoy PvP in games that involve "twitch", not how much I can limit my stats and levels. First person shooters For the win!

I've never gotten a D med from a fire giant before. I have gotten things like D chains on dustdevils. If you want to try your luck on "rares", focus on something that is actually worth alot. Unless your in that "I want to find my own" kind of mood, it isn't really worth setting a goal for. 300k gets you a D Med easily in the GE. Oh and I always wear ring of wealth against NPCs.

LSP supposedly drops once you get a rare drop. They've also updated the LSP a few months ago that caters to the community. That means someone with high LSP can still get more drops but it is now higher priority on distributing the drops fairly amongst the current team instead of the person who grinds his LSP all day.
