RS is about whatever the player wants it to be. If he prefers combat then that's his choice - you don't need to have any balance whatsoever, there are no set rules for it; only player opinion. And combat (monster hunting) is by far better income than skilling. Anyway nice account once again.

I personally have never gone as far as skipping food/drink/sleep/other necessities, but I know of people who have, and of course you hear the stories of WoW addicts skipping bathroom breaks..... MMORPG addiction/over-playing is far from pleasant.

Fair enough but could you say why. People will come to Tip.it, like in the past, and complain to the Tip.it staff about the clan chat channel whereas they have no power over it whatsoever, because it's controlled by one specific person. Actually, it's legal issues - that's why Jagex asked tip to shut down the first cc, tipit_chat or something. It was then Lightning's cc and I think jagex asked for that to be made unofficial or shut down. Can't really remember

Better stay off my w166 too was going to go solo some TDS but not worth the risk now, it's not the TDS I fear. Basically a friends sat in the chat listening in, he says one or two guys (he thinks) are doing it and IRC Admins keep closing the channel down for heavy traffic alot of users in those channels, just spamming !World (then the number) just to see if what they are doing is real, It could be a total and utter coincidence though. if this is on swiftirc just go to #swiftirc and report them and they'll get g-lined lol

In the chat I was in people announced the server they were going to crash seconds later it plummeted to around 50 players in population I swiftly left the chat, around 250 players in the IRC channel, I left not getting involved, I'm just curious as to why they are doing it. again I really doubt a bunch of angry runescapers have the capability to drop some servers. I was on one of the offline worlds (22) and it was obvious the server was experiencing difficulties as other players in the area were complaining of lag. On this bases, people could quite easily have claimed X world was going down based on the way it was behaving. And if they are indeed being DDOSed and you know where it is originating from then you should probably tell Jagex lol
