  1. In one of his books, he says that he is running out of runes and asked the wizards in the Tower for some (or maybe not, something like that). So in conclusion, i think he is gonna burn the tower (with the tinderboxes i guess) to get more runes. Btw, if you use any elemental rune on him, he will say they are useful and steal some of them :shame:
  2. Nope, it only affects you rc level for the minigame, as in, it gives you a longer range for attracting or repelling orbs, it does not affect your ability to craft higher level or mutiple runes. Oh...in that case the robes arent that good, but they look kool.
  3. One question, with the new clothes that gives runecrafting bonus, now ppl can craft 2x nats with a lower lvl, i mean, you dont need 91 rc to make them, maybe 86 or 85 with the new clothes, right?
  4. Well, if I remember correctly, no-one really knows where we came from... I think everybody just assumed that we were created by Guthix, but the lore only states 'Guthix found an empty plane, shaped it, and went to rest'. I agree, this kinda implies he created us, but this explanation works too. And about the balance thing, Guthix could in fact introduce races to Runescape without destroying balance. One explanation for him getting humans here is that he 'created' races two at a time, each being the opposite of the other, that would keep things kinda balanced. Another theory is that, because Seren brought the Elves into Gielenor first, Guthix saw that the world wasn't balanced anymore, so he brought a race of it's own to restore balance! This last one seems likely to me, as Elves probably were the first race on RuneScape, this is backed up by both lore and the fact that you can see a startled Elven scout in the Meeting History-past. I guess thats a good theory but there was balance, Elves in Runescape and Humans in the other plane (Earth). But its just a game, lets not ruin Jagex imagination, I accept your theory :
  5. I bet thats the stone of Jas, but there is another thing that i cant take out of my head. If i remeber correctly (sorry, i dont know much about the Runescape history) it says that guthix created us, but in the quest we find out that we actually came from another plane! (real wolrd anyone?). I think this is a huge change in the runescape history. But there is something i dont understand, Guthix is supose to be the god of balance but why did he make the portal for us? didnt he destroy the balance doing this? i mean, he brought some weird creatures from another world...
  6. haha, nice one. You know you are a runescape geek when ppl ask your what sport you play and you say "gnomeball".
  7. I think its because we hate when they change things without asking us. I liked Pest Control but they changed it, so we reminisce how they updated something but for the worse.
  8. Cool! Mexican world =D> , its not Argentina but its still spanish! New homeworld for me :
  9. So: the elves, vyrewatch, dwarves and the gnomes are plotting something against the humans? :ohnoes: Lol, jking, i think that just the elves and vyrewatch is ok...hehe
  10. I made a thread about this some months ago, but it dissapered...maybe it wasnt that interesting. Anyway, as some ppl say it was a bug and that Jagex were going to fix it...they didnt, so (for me) there is some kind of conection between elves and vyrewatch. And i tried taking the ore to the carts but didnt work.
  11. Add a collect option for the GE in the chest of the waiting room in CW (or maybe a banker to take the items you lend) :wall:
  12. With those stats, your are gonna have a veeery bad time...i would suguest you to get between 70-75 range (its still a lil hard at those lvls). I died twice with 78 range, but at the healers...i hate those guys...
  13. Im 95% sure they do, i remeber they mentioned something about that when FoG came, the gloves are supose to give a 5% (not sure about this) more accuracy when doing a dragon slaying task. I dont really use them since i range and mage them :wall:
  14. When you are in CW waiting for the opponent flag to reappear and you have everything to score (barricades, bandages, magic def armour) and a lvl 70 noob takes it to look cool and loses the flag outside of the castle... :wall:
  15. Very nice guide, that can let you cut in peace and its an easier way to multitasking since you are the only one and it will take time for the tree to fall. Btw, there are some yew trees near the Melzar the Mad mansion, maybe you can add that. ;)
  16. Thats very interesting, in my personal opinion its because its more rewarding than the other bosses. What i mean is that, for example, Armadyl godsword is the most expensive gs, but you need a very good range lvl and the killcount is the hardest one to get. But the Bandos one is different, you can just melee him, the kill count can be easly evaded killing goblins and you have more chances of getting a good drop (Bandos hilt isnt the only good drop from this guy, the bandos armour is expensive too). So i think that as you can get more easy money with the Bandos boss with just some good combat stats (that nearly every 100+ have) and not mentioning the supplies are cheaper too.
  17. I always wanted to read a book of the runescape history, like the God Wars or maybe a book about a Runescape quest (Plague City serie anyone?). It would be great, just imagine reading a great adventure story but in runescape style : . I dont really like books, i just read the ones from school and Sherlock Holmes and Cortazar. But i would buy something like that even if it was expensive cause i would definitly read it to the end (i always get bored at the first pages #-o )
  18. Actually, i think it counts, maybe not inside the serie but yeah. I bet we are gonna use it in the next MEP3 to destroy the crystal walls or something, so if you havent done Catapult Construction quest maybe you wont be able to start MEP3 (i know its not gonna be called like that).
  19. Haha, i didnt imagine someone would realize what it means =p
  20. how is it now a connection? two groups of people who both are serving zamorak and both have the Daeyalt ore/carts. my bet is the ore is needed to resurrect zamorak That's plausible that is what the ore is used for, but why would the mourners have a cart of it lying around if there is nowhere around there to mine it? Oh maybe i should have said that there are some slaves mining "something" in the Mourners cave too...but as they looks like normal rocks (no ore) i didnt post it. hehe, you inspired me to create this thread :
  21. That would be a huge coincidence since they DID NOT change carts, but they ADDED one, there was no cart before.
  22. Maybe, but those are the only carts in runescape with that blue thingy and examine info. For example, the carts in the dwarf mine dont have that examine info. Coincidence? I dont think so....
  23. First of all, i should introduce myself to this comunity as im not a regular poster, but i bet that would go in the "Introudce yourself to Tip.it!" thread so ill just go ahead and continue my thread... As you may or may not know, with the new HD runescape, many changes were made. Many places, Npcs and graphics were modified. Well, the other day i found something that shocked me, i couldnt believe it but i didnt feel like posting it. Maybe it was cause the lack of my english writing skills or i was just lazy, but after reading Jagex, **** or get off the pot, i felt it was my obligation to show another example. Yes, another so called hint from Jagex. I went to west Ardrogue (sorry the spelling) to the elves hideout to get my bazooka back when i found something very interesting... Next to the cell there was a little cart with some light blue thingy inside. It drew my attention so i searched it, as usually, "nothing interesting happens". But there was something weird about it so i examined it and guess what i found: For the ones that didnt complete Darkness of Hallowvale, the Daeyalt ore can only be mined in a mine underground Meiyerditch, the Vampyres territory. Yes, what is an item that can only be found in Meiyerditch doing there? The Vampyres live in the East of Runescape, far away from the elves, there is something very fishy here... The ore has no purpose at the time and we dont have any information about it. The little we know is that the Vampyres use the humans that live in Meiyerditch as slaves to mine it. Here a pic: This may stun you because this opens many doors and unsolved questions. For now we have answered one question, What are the carts for? But now we have many many new unanswered questions like What are the elves and Vampyres plotting? Why do elves need the Daeyalt ore? Why are Vampyres helping the elves? I dont know much about the runescape history but there are 2 things that both have in common. They are evil and the blood tally is mention in both series... As far as i understand, both series will be conected in the future or somehting...but all this puzzles give me a headache and i hate it, so as Noble Aloof says, **** or get off the pot... I want to apologise for the spelling mistakes and everything  , this is just an amateur thread so please dont flame :( . Btw, compliments about my english writing skills are really appreciated =p . Discuss and feel free to give your opinion.
  24. I prefer Runescape, but all my friend in school dont like it. I think the difference is that WoW is more the "fighting style game" and the fact that my friends just want to kill stuff and Runescape is more like a role player game.
