FURY REQUIRED
If it was just one clan I wouldn't care but it's almost EVERY clan.... You can make a clan you know Ya but try making a 125+ clan that doesn't require things like furies and see how long it takes. ...What? Seems like you'd get more applicants than the clans that DO require furies. Your logic is hnfjfbn3238y8yrhu34?

New Jersey legalizes medical marijuana...and bans gay marriage
Wow. Just... wow. I'm for the legalization of marijuana (and not just medical marijuana), but I don't understand making weed legal but banning gay marriage. I don't understand that at all. I proudly voted against Prop 8 here in California.

Whip + Defender outperforms a Godsword in almost every situation. however, at bgwd godsword>whip+rune defender Depends on your team, but generally you're correct. Your contradiction was unnecessary, however, as I cleverly included 'almost' between 'in' and 'every' in my original post.

11-Jan-2010 - Nomads Requiem
Fought Nomad four times. He absolutely wrecked me twice, and the other two times I got him down to 1/4th of his HP. I just can't justify spending any more money on brews, restores, or sharks, so I'm gonna let this one go for a while. I'll try again when I get 92 Summoning and 92 Prayer. It's a good thing I don't usually wear my quest cape around.

Any better amour than dragon?
Besides the fact that barrows is cheaper and would require many, many hours of combat to match the cost of dragon, you can't wield it anyway. At 61 defense, Dragon is your best bet, though I don't think you should spend your money on it. Other than that, you can wear Bandos and 3rd Age at 65 defense.

- 11-Jan-2010 - Nomads Requiem
First of all, I'd dearly love to see proof of Jagex saying any of this. Second, you'd prefer an easier, but longer quest? Sorry, I guess I just prefer a little challenge in my gaming. It sounds like you didn't want a GM quest at all. By admitting that the boss is too strong to be considered a master quest, you defeat your own point. It's obviously more difficult than just master, so it must be a... ? Right.- 11-Jan-2010 - Nomads Requiem
Forgive us, MHL. We've all forgotten that you're a content developer for Jagex, and that you alone know what a grandmaster quest truly entails.- 11-Jan-2010 - Nomads Requiem
This is the very first quest to be released that has a truly difficult boss fight. Can't get much more original than being the first. I highly disagree with you on whether or not this should be a grandmaster quest; it most certainly should be.- POLL: How do you earn most of your RuneScape GP?
Slayer and farming.- Your most annoying moment.
The same exact thing happened to me, except that I both underestimated the boss AND overprepared for the fight by bringing both range and melee gear, including full karil's and my whip. I died and lost about 800k. Wasn't cool, man.- Aneron
That dude is an idiot. I voted for Barack.- #2/#3/#4
Sucks about your farming cape, but congratulations nonetheless. Like I told you before, three 99's is always a party.  99 x 3 / 10.- Summoning in a PVP context.
Last night I got into a bit of an argument with another player over what the best way to train melee was. He became increasingly frustrated, inquiring as to whether or not I was a level 90. He said he was level 131, to which I responded by quick-chatting my own combat level, which also happened to be 131. He quickly looked me up on the hiscores and pointed out that I have no skills at level 99, and that my account would be terrible for PVP. I told him that I'm more of a monster hunting kind of guy, and that I've had no inclination to do much PVP in my years, to which he responded by slamming his forehead on the keyboard. Repeatedly. Now, this would have been the end of the discussion, but I was feeling trollish and decided to continue with, "You know, I bet I could beat you in a fight at the duel arena." I could practically smell his anger from the safety of my computer chair. He immediately began spouting every obscenity and insult he could come up with, which was limited to 'noob' and '[bleep],' sadly. He declared that he was an old-school player killer, and said he would wipe the floor with me (though in less eloquent terms). His argument was that my melee stats were lower, therefore I would surely lose the duel. I countered that my summoning and prayer levels made up for my lower melee stats. He responded with a slurry of censored words, from which I was only able to discern that he did not approve of using summoning in PVP of any kind. He whined that my using a familiar was no different than calling one of my friends to help me kill him. "But it wouldn't be much of a fair fight if I couldn't utilize an important aspect of my combat level," I said. "Why couldn't I just ask you not to use armor, as it utilizes your defense level?" Once again, he responded by throwing his keyboard across the room. I spent the next five minutes telling him that I'm ready for a duel whenever he is. His responses during this time were much the same as his previous ones: "******* noob ** * hfej old schoopk**e eeueho9w83,wildy#**##***," and so on and so forth. The moral of the story is that summoning is a combat skill whether you like it or not. The use of summoning is justified by the increase in combat levels. For your entertainment, here are the relevant combat skills of both myself and the player I was arguing with: Obtaurian (me): 97 HP 96 Attack 96 Strength 96 Defense 82 Prayer 90 Summoning ( I was 89 during the argument. Getting 90 bumped me up to 132 combat.) Uber Pro Old School PKer: 99 HP 99 Attack 99 Strength 95 Defense 70 Prayer 76 Summoning (which might explain why he was so hesitant to fight me.) Magic and range were discluded, as neither of us have exceptional levels. So, how do you feel about summoning? Is it a valid addition to combat, or is it just an excuse for noobs like me to boast of combat prowess that we don't actually have?- The Laws Of Modern Warfare 2

There was a huge thread about this a long time ago. It had every entry and many pages of discussion. You could try searching for that.- FURY REQUIRED

Tis very annoying.- Useful 99's?
Hunter is a relatively fast and arguably useful 99. You'll make money from hunting Grenwalls/Pawyas. Agility is extremely useful, but probably too slow for your liking. Summoning is probably the most useful 99 you can have, and it'll get you maxed melees. It's also slightly profitable if you kill waterfiends.- Worth spending ~145m on Overloads?
You should just keep your items and make the money. That said, from what I know, overloads are definitely worth it. Especially for solo boss hunting.- the ancient cavern
Mith dragon. Brutal green. The part about reason and logic is probably an allusion to the examine of brutal green's, which says they're intelligent looking.- itam's HC diy'er thread
