If you're gonna do string jewelery, buy plain gold amulets at max. Takes a while to buy, but you'll always get them eventually. However, I'm not sure if you can get from 86 to 94 that way. Sorry.

For maximum profit in the shortest amount of time, I would recommend ZMI to 82 then double astrals to 91. You really can't get a much better speed to profit ratio than that. Double astrals are almost as good as double natures, so it's worth getting 82 as soon as possible. You'll save more time and gain more money in the long run.

I don't think that it's a problem. In fact, it's what makes some items as expensive as they are. The Barrows helms are good examples of this. Changing it would lower the prices of numerous items. I'm not totally opposed to the change, but realistically, it's not going to happen. A way to get around this at bosses is to simply swap items by lending. You and a friend bringing Armadyl plates? Swap them.
