  1. I'm sure that someone, somewhere knows how to do it, but that someone isn't me. I'd be very surprised if you weren't caught and banned. I'd also be surprised if this thread stays unlocked long enough for me to finish this post.
  2. I've been using String Jewelery. Gold Amulets are somewhat hard to buy, but I can usually get about 2-5k of them a day. It's a very relaxing way to train, because you really don't have to pay attention. I would burst rock lobsters, but I have no where near the money to get me to 96 (my goal). Just my two cents. Consider string gold amulets.
  3. If they only knew... Trying to make me cry? :(
  4. 99 Slayer at level 3 is nuts. I've always like Enrix E B. He doesn't have an insanely weird account or anything, but first to 200m exp in range, plus 99 in every skill except for level 55 Firemaking is pretty cool to me. Other than, probably all or most of Villandra's accounts.
  5. I was around for RSC, and I much prefer modern day Runescape. I'll only play if I can play for free.

  7. PROTIP: Most decent Slayers wear Proselyte on a few tasks. I'll reiterate what another poster said: They aren't flashy and expensive for the purpose of being flashy and expensive. They're better and more effective, which is why people use them. You may not mind getting severely reduced Slayer experience due to your crappy armor, but most Slayers would disagree. I like not having to eat every two seconds, which is why I use Barrows. Or you can stfu and let him wear bronze if he wants to, why are you trying to turn him? Maybe your trying to make yourself believe that barrows is the only way to go? Whatever you're doing it sure as hell don't do no good here, so get out. Lolyoumissedthepoint. I don't care what he wears, just that he's making stupid excuses to make himself feel better. None of what I said is directed towards the topic creator, by the way. I know that Barrows isn't the only way to go. I just can't afford Bandos yet. ;) (Or piety'ing on every task with Proselyte.)

  11. People don't buy Bandos because its more "popular" they buy and use it because it is more effective. Thus netting more exp/hour and having more time to do other things with your life. ------- OT: 94 Slayer, way better than what I have. Keep it up and good luck with future levels and goals. 7/10. Keep going. : wrong, more xp/hr doesnt mean more/other things to do with your life ;) 94/99 just to give you a reason to go for 99 :P Says the guy with the low total level.

  13. It's not enough to be able to one hit iron when you hit level 40 mining. I want to be able to outhit any miner below my level. It's my right for earning that level. There is a noticeable different in early levels, but once you hit 90+, like Dragon and Bauke said, it stagnates.

  15. Don't forget mining. I second these notions. I don't particularly mind drop rates for monsters being random, however. Even though I've never gotten anything better than a whip. . .
  16. For me, being someone who has never had more than a 20m cash pile, I'd have to say that more money would actually make the game more fun. If I had all the equipment I wanted, I could happily slay to 99 and just spend all of the profit on prayer potions and cannonballs without having to put some aside for that DFS that I want so badly. :(
  17. 94 Slayer is awesome, and I wish you luck for 99, but for the love of God, wear better armor, PLEASE. Wear your Guthan's plate and skirt. The difference is staggering.
  18. You realized that you singled me out, so instead of admitting that you were wrong, you try and move on to your misunderstanding of what I said? Brilliant. I'm sure the debate team would love you. I'm no longer responding. Read my signature.
  19. My exact compliment to the player was "incredible achievement." If that's sucking up, you must have every face in this thread halfway up your [wagon].
  20. I had no trouble at all reading and understanding the dialogue, nor did I have trouble following the instructions and hints. Maybe you just suck at quests, and that's not John's fault. You miss the point Morningrise. There are dialogues that you may not experience if you take shortcuts, and which I'm assuming you can't experience after the quest is complete (since I too missed these...). That's very odd. I didn't do anything that wasn't implied or hinted at during the quest, and I caught every bit of dialogue. What kind of shortcuts? Originally quoted post above: If you go through the tower (where you fight the Cannoneer) instead of taking the boats to get around, you miss some sort of dialogue with the ferrymen. I don't know who Grimmson is though. I never once touched a boat, but I definitely saw the dialogue with the ferryman, and I know who Grimmson(sp) is.
