It doesn't look normal. Underneath the Slayer Cape shoulder pads, that armor is bulkier than a chain. Also, the helmet is a Dragon Med. The graphics have changed.

I have no experience with Claws of Guthix, nor do I have any experiencing using magic in the GWD, but I'd just like to point out that with that attitude, the GWD would have never been touched. Obviously SOMEONE had to go in there and fight Zilyana without any prior knowledge. My advice to you: test it out, try different inventories and setups. You might lose money, you might die, but as you've said in a previous thread, first hand experience is always the best way to get things done. Paraphrased, of course.

Defenders are by far your best bet. If you absolutely refuse to use one for whatever reason, an Obsidian Shield works quite well. A Dragon Sq is really just for looks.

Personally, if I owned a multimillion dollar company, I'd probably try to sell a couple T-shirts, and maybe a mug or two. Obviously, someone is buying this stuff, or they wouldn't have put out the second batch of merchandise. Would I buy anything? Sure, if they had something I wanted. So far, they don't, but I'm sure they will eventually.

If you're going to use it for purposes other than training, I'd say you should get it. I have full void melee, and I use it quite often. Very useful.

The price doesn't change the fact that it's an extremely useful item. Keep it, especially if you're going to be doing Slayer.

I'm 18, been playing since I was 11. I've had a few friends who were in their 40's. I also once spoke to Barak17, who is in his 50's I believe. Great guy, had an enlightening conversation regarding stringed instruments. Most of my friends in RS nowadays are my age, but I do have a friend who is in his 30's. Amazing guy, and he actually inspired and encouraged me to pursue a double major in college. For that, I can't thank him enough. Also, I think it's great that all of these players are coming out of the woodwork on this thread. =D>
