  1. I don't rush them so I can kill them. That's a secondary goal. What needs reworking to become fair is that it needs to be easier to avoid an ancient attacking you in the first place. No, its already easy enough to avoid them. Use your surroundings. But if you run into those REALLY high level tank mages at castle wars, then count yourself unlucky, and stay away from them next time. In stealing creation, there are no surroundings that will allow you to be effective when near an ancient. Then you obviously have never played stealing creation, or don't know how to play it right. Theres a thing called FOG, which allows you to hide, and stay in there until the mage gets tired of waiting and leaves. OR god forbid you step in fog, you can build barriers, stand near a kiln for temporary protection, and if all else fails, STAY in your base and don't rush out there like idiots. You can't do anything while in fog. Of course you can't do anything in the fog, which is why we call it HIDING. Also, you can pickpocket people 1 sq away while you stand in the outer edge of the fog.
  2. I agree with this. The BGS is one of the more overrated weapons to own. No need to use it to train due to its lack of speed. Only useful at GWD and TDs for its high hits. And even at those places there are better options to use. I only owned 2 GS, Bandos and Sara. I owned them to either lend off junk or to use, but i only kept them for like a week at most. There are much more useful items to own, such as armor and decent weapons. What they said. Nothing good can come of owning a BGS and nothing else, except for maybe having fun at castle wars/ clan wars/ duel arena. But even then, you'd need some decent armour.
  3. I'd say keep attack as is for now, and train mage as a priority. Get 82, then get your range up to 90+. Finally, Get 94 mage if you feel like it. When the time comes for 70 attack, you'll know it.
  4. Yeah, this. It's really fun, you get to decorate your house and have parties
  5. Haha yeah, I got scammed for one lol
  6. Decided to share some of the last kills I got on my pure, because I might start pking on it again after all this time! I was level 45 I think at that time, and now I'm level 50, so in 2+ years, I gained 5 levels! Hurray! [hide=old kills] [/hide] I didn't know to save it .png back then and I don't know how to change it now, so please go easy on the not-so-good quality.

  8. If dieing gives no penalty, what's the point of having food? Armour? We'd just rush through the dungeons w/o preparing and no penalty! Yay!
  9. So you hate people who trained more to be more successful?

Totally get what your talking about, it takes me around 7 seconds to finish the loading screen, and I don't even play fullscreen. And this only happened lately, since the release of Dungeoneering probably, and it sucks
  12. I would guess not, because it takes away 75% of your hp, and leaves you vulnerable to KOs
  13. I can't install this thing either, administrator issues :|
  14. Aviansies are good since you have 75 range. There are some good guides out there if you search on google. I don't know your defence level, but if it's too low, you can always use the prayer method and still get a good profit.
  15. Umm, my rough guess is a full set (including one helm) takes 8-12 hours. So a helm and bottom would take about 5-ish? Assuming 2 minute games, and 4 pts per game and you guys winning every game, that would be 120 pts per hour. But sometimes you miss the boat, and lose, so I would guess 100 pts per hour is pretty generous. Use that to your calculations
  16. Train on the zombie monkeys under the monkey guards, wear salve (e), use a super set, pray piety while wearing prossy/ sw cape. Set auto retaliate on with an ss in hand, and you're all set. I believe you can get upwards to 100k exp/hr this way.
  17. So, does it just let you play runescape w/o a web browser? Does that mean it'll run faster? since each of my loading screens takes like 7 seconds...
  18. Why is this turning into an arguement about solo vs team again? I've read enough of those... OT: REALLY REALLY excited for the construction update inside the dungeon, as I was very disappointed I couldn't put my favourite skill to good use in the dungeon. So what's it gonna be? Tier'd planks made out of the wood? That'd be awesome! Can't wait! Keep up the good work Jagex.
  19. flesh crawlers in SoS
  20. which is why you use the fog, and/or rush them when they are fighting someone else. Trust me, I've gotten my runes stolen plenty of times lol
  21. When I leave my offers in overnight, and nothing buys/sells.
  22. That first picture sure brings back memories, as my account started as a mage pure up until level 20-ish when mage started to suck.
  23. For crafting I'd just do green d'hide bodies to whatever level you want. Btw, to craft a feather headdress, you need a coif + 20 feathers of the corresponding colour. I have no idea how fast it is, so i would still do the d'hide bodies, and use sc needles if you wish, they last for 45k exp each roughly.
  24. Usually there are people at veteran boat advertising worlds. If you meet their req's, trade them and they'll put up some coins, the number of coins represent the world number, so hop on over and start pcing. It's usually way faster.
  25. I liked it, but the only thing is I would've prefered if they kept the old decorative armour looks but still gave them special effects in game. The new look just looks..... weird, unoriginal.
