  1. And magic dart, don't forget that one.
  2. 1000k for gravite i think. But here's the deal. With the current requirements, it's going to be quite a long time before many people have the tokens to buy multiple gravite/chaos weapons. And the drain rate is 2m/1m per 10 hours. Which is pretty slow. Construction on the other hand drains around 1m per hour if one if training with oak planks (butler costs not included). If they removed the crappy token system, it will allow people to purchase more weapons instead of one weapon every 2m exp. Make the price reasonable, maybe 10m? Idk, that's up to Jagex. Also, it might entice more people to train the skill because they won't see it as a minigame (tokens) anymore, and more like a skill with unlockable content. Overall, I say it would be much more effective money sink.
  3. How would that be better, unless they further reduced the token costs. Then you'd still need to get 80 Dung to buy the ability to wield a Chaotic Longsword, but you'd also need to spend more tokens or GP to actually obtain the item. If they reduced the "ability to wield" to like 100k tokens for a Chaotic Weapon and then sold the weapon for like 10m, I'd be okay with that... As long as you also received a "proof of purchase" item that you could use on the smuggler if you die and lose the Chaotic Longsword in order to allow you to rebuy it for half price. They also need to allow you resell items for like 75% of what you paid. I'd prefer not to have a reselling option. The game needs more legitimate money sinks. And they could just keep the prices at current levels, but just give you one free item when you initially buy the ability to use it. I just don't like the idea that it's possible to lose items that require hundreds of hours to obtain. how is this a money sink? no gp is taken out of the game. your just spending minigame... err, skill reward tokens. you should be able to get a different item if you dont like the one you bought. no, i meant my idea (rebuying items with real coins after you've bought the ability to use it using tokens) and no, you shouldn't be able to resell your items for tokens either, since it makes it too easy to switch between rewards (buy a chaotic, use it for a bit, resell, buy a eagle eye shield, rinse, repeat). i think 200K tokens is reasonable for each item. Why not just scrap the token system once and for all? You have the level required to use it, and just buy it in cash. Ta-da! A great money sink!
  4. Train construction up to 95, buy a steel dragon and an awesome dungeon, and BAM, world 31 house parties will be a blast!
  5. For golds, Ice warriors, moss giants. For crims, uh... maybe range greaters? Or you could melee them if you want. Also, 30 def isn't a pure
  6. Yea, make sure they aren't idiots. I had a team that kept pulling the lever and making me die <_< .
  7. I don't think its just ToG, exp lamps from randoms didn't work either.
  8. Nine lives - died 8 times, no more, no less. ^ I got that once unfourtunately
  9. Mage them using SOL + magic dart. Much cheaper considering how much airs cost.
  10. Old. 'Nuff said.
  11. Use the one that requires level 60 to make. It raises your smithing ( and crafting, construction) by 4+4% levels, so it will be enough to get you to a katagon spear
  12. Use your herblore to make a artisan's potion, then buy the katagon ores and smith the spear. Spears are the best overall weapon.
  13. Just saying, you can make it at lower levels, just make one of those artisan potions. the weak one gives 2+2%, normal one gives 4+4% and strong one gives 6+6% i think. So it is possible to make the spear at level 90 or so.
  14. If you reset after 7 floors, then you will have a prestige score of 7 until you complete 8 floors. You might've acidentally resetted after floor 1 and lost your saved prestige score. Or something else happened? I don't know.
  15. Spears all the way.
  16. ^ and spend the tokens on a better reward. Actually, I'd save you're tokens until Jagex does the next update, in which hopefully they'll make stuff cheaper.
  17. Omfg bring back old wildy!!!!!!!
  18. Hey, I've found that a spear works best because of its versatality. It's got all 3 attack styles and the monsters really depend on those weaknesses to kill fast. The maul is good though if you want sheer power, but I'd still use a spear if you get one because it's faster than the maul.
  19. Sorry, just need one more confirmation: Does the order you do the floors matter? Or is it as long as you do all of them. For ex. right now i have a prestige of 12, i reset b/c i couldn't go any further. I've already done f1 - f3 again, can I join a party from say f7 and do up to f12, then go back and do f4 - f6 myself? This is the last thing I need to know  Thanks.
  20. This is why I think the spear is the best weapon. Anyway, are you sure you grouped them right? Like "ice monsters" I think the elementals and fiends are weak to different things. I don't remember that clearly though, so i'll have to check again.
  21. World 31 yanille is the place to be for open altars. Also, welcome, and this is the right place
  22. I don't think making the limit 120 is a good idea... They would only do it if they wanted people to grind 100m exp, which is 7x more than a 99 would take. C'mon, that's just gonna kill people. Also, what's the point of capes at 99 if it isn't maxed? There's no point in wearing them anymore, stats aren't good, and will be outclassed by 120 capes. It's like if right now, Jagex decided to give people a cape for achieving level 80 in a skill (roughly 7x less exp than 99), would people wear it? Probably not. It would be useless. And one more thing, what's the point of 120 firemaking? woodcutting? mining? agility? There are some skills that might be useful if the level cap was buffed (namely combat skills), but for the other ones, there's plenty of high level space that hasn't been filled yet and making the cap 120 wouldn't make sense.
  23. This is a great explanation, thanks, I totally get it now  But one thing I'm not sure about, is floor 1 the easiest? Then gradually gets harder? So you would get a high prestige, reset, then complete the earlier floors for faster exp than normal, right? Also, logging out and leaving the party after each floor doesn't matter right? It's just the resetting that matters?
  24. "Dung" just sounds weird...
