Drop hunting is fun, not moneymaking. What are you doing? Fun is subjective, for example, I find construction + farming fun, and not alot of others can say that. Btw, I'm planning on doing a mixture of stuff, like aviansies/ fruitfall/ maybe even more barrows if I can get myself around to it.

I know alot is based on luck, namely every monster drop. So I've decided to use something that gives consistent money, since hunting for drops just isn't my thing :sad:

Chuck is the bomb! They just keep coming out with new twists, everytime you think everything's been settled, something new comes up. And the characters are mad funny! Morgan, Lester, Jeff, etc. Oh, did I mention Casey is awesome?

I lol'd. Anyways, buy a second one, one for training and one for your ego. Never hurts, that is - your ego, a different story for your bankroll. I think he meant using the search function in the bank, which is a legit suggestion. And I don't get what it has to do with ego, or am I missing something here?

For some weird reason, I was walking to school, and my foot just started to hurt. Like I stepped on something very sharp, so I walked the whole day with a limp.

About the first one that happened a couple years back, in Beijing, at the hospital or something, my parents actually used to work there before we moved to Canada. They actually knew some people who's kids were injured/killed in that accident. It's kinda scary when I think about it. But I guess when you have 1.4 billion people, there are bound to be crazy ones, and sadly, it just happens to be people wanting to kill innocent little kids.

Brim is pretty good, although I never use it anymore since I don't go there as often. Misc & etc. is the other place to consider. Those two are the only places you should be planting your tree.

Private chat = off for me 90% of the time. Only time I turn it on is when i try and sell something on the forums and am awaiting replies. No, it's not because I'm arrogant, it's more because I prefer not to have to talk to randoms. Also, I quit for a year or two and most of my good old friends have moved on from the game. I'm not "better" than anyone, I help out all I can if they ask me straight up in public chat, and am generally very friendly.

Generally you'd want to start a thread on the misc marketplace section of RSOF, and have spotters for you. Then i guess you could world hop in puro puro until someone pm's about a find in the outside world.

Yes i did this before. Just bring 2 summoning pots per invt, i used usually 6-8 doses per invt when i tried fruitfalling for a bit. Also pick up oranges i heard they're 1.2k on the other thread :L I pick them up anyway since I use a leprechaun to bank, had no idea they are 1.2k? Haha

Yea, the spec bar, the one with 60 points. Thanks, I was wondering because I wanted to use them for fruitfalling, and i guess summ pots would speed it up alot.

How fast does it recharge? Is there a way to recharge it manually? Or do I have to wait? Thanks.

Uh, when barrows armour has a drop rate of 1/18 from the chest, and I get 1/300, i THINK that is bad luck and not a "probability thing". 1/18 chances of getting barrows sounds extremely high to me, it makes me wonder why barrows aren't more common if it's 1/18 I'm pretty its not as low as you think. 1/18 MIGHT be pushing it, but its definately not 1/300 haha. Oh and guess what I just got, :wall:

Sorry for another thread on the front page, alot of things lately have me wanting to rant again lol. Anyway, this really sucks. This past weekend (friday included), I spent a lot of time doing barrows, hoping to get several mill in drops so buying a steel dragon for my POH won't break my bank. I'm no hardcore player, but I did put in 10+ hours partially because I was sick as well. So, I'm barrowing away with a guthan's set i bought and a SOL + ice blitz. And on average i do around 12 chests/trip, and around 9 per hour, maybe 8. Average that out, it works out to be 80-90 trips. And what do I get? NOTHING. I'm aware of the fact that a 90 dry streak isn't THAT much, but you haven't heard the other part of the story. In 2008, I got membership for the first time, after finally achieving 1k total in f2p. I was very happy, and thought members would be quite a ways easier to make money than f2p. I saved up 4-5 years worth of stuff in f2p and only had a 10m bank. So after deciding to go to barrows since that's where many people i knew got their first piles of cash, I ran into some problems. Long story short, with on and off barrowing, I've gone about almost 200 dry (rough estimate, but probably not off by much), and still haven't revieved anything worthwhile. So fastforward to last month, I got my first item! worth a whopping 1.5m, made me pretty happy, thinking "hey, now i've gotten my first, they gotta start coming at a decent pace right?" Boy, was I ever wrong! Another thing, I've killed ALOT of metal dragons, possibly 2k+ total (might now seem alot to some, but alot to a casual player like me), and the BEST drop I've gotten from them is a dragon skirt when they were worth 160k couple years ago. Tl;dr version: 200 dry streak at barrows over 2 years, broken last month by torag legs drop, but have gone 90 dry again. 2k metal drags (iron + steel) and got a 160k skirt drop couple years back. That's about it for all the drops I've recieved. And I'm getting kinda frustrated, but now I'm gonna go back to farming + flipping, hopefully to make enough for a steel drag in the next couple weeks. /rant, now I feel a little better.

2 lvl 80's cant kill 1 lvl 130..... id be willing to say that it would take 4 lvl 80's to kill 1 lvl 130 Sometimes that doesn't even work b/c the 130 just uses blood barrage + soul split :wall: And when you've got idiots who actually TAKE stuff OUT of the base and die with it... and leave you with no daggers to fight with, and you have to use your hands... it just ruins the fun in the game.

Tbh applyapple, you're just the average newbie at runescape. Once you get to a higher level, you will have learned more about the game and won't have silly thoughts as this one. Keep playing and enjoy the game for heaven's sake! And play however you like, if you're getting owned at pvp, then stop, and go do something else. :thumbup:

You don't need 3m in MTK to profit. Just put 750k + 75k*however many days you need, which should be less than 1.5m per week. In fact, 1.5m lasts you 1.5 weeks. and by then, you'd have earned 1m from MTK, so you have 2.5m to mess around with.

Invest it? Be it in rares, resources/equipment.
