12-Apr-2010 - Dungeoneering Skill!
How does hunter link into any other skills :P Ranged: Chinchompas. Dragon Arrows. Herblore: I think so. Too lazy to write out the rest...Hunter's a horrible skill anyways. How does construction work in this game/skill? I don't want it to be useless.

This is a pretty awesome "skill" Too bad I can't carry around enough stuff with me, always having to make multiple trips to smith/cook stuff.

dungeoneering puzzle (nvm, im stupid)
alright, complexity 5, solo, and i'm in a room with 8 statues, 4 are moveable, 4 aren't. And the door is locked. Any ideas? I've tried pushing the statues so they are symetrical with the other side, but it doesn't work. Some help please  EDIT: nvm, figured it out, turns out you need to have them the same, not symmetrical. Next time I won't post topics so fast haha

12-Apr-2010 - Dungeoneering Skill!
Loooks pretty nice, does 120 require 200m exp or something? Anyways, hope the armours don't crash much because I don't want to lose a quarter of my bank from flipping items.

Pure Advice needed~! F2P
Lol hey, this guys back! Anyway, I haven't pked in a while but 52 and 53 combat won't make much of a difference since i think you can attack your target anywhere. Range 2h is the best (don't know if it is still), even if it isn't, it should still be effective. Get range to 70 for the new max of 12 on rapid. Then just go pk. Str pot up at the beginning, range till their hp is low, then pull out 2h/baxe for the KO. The new constitution thing really has messed up max hits since every single little bonus counts now, so i don't know about that. Also, don't do the new quest called The blood Pact, it will raise your def to 2. Gl pking.

Summoning obelisk
Set your house tele option to "at portal", use the best BoB you have, then load it up and tele to your house, run to obelisk near the ogre. Dueling ring to bank, and repeat. Don't know if it beats using a kyatt, but that's how you use the one near yanille. Oh, and obviously you need to put your house in yanille first.

People at Stealing Creation
A summary: "Let's just destroy the fun for others, even at the cost of our own fun!" If dieing over and over is your idea of fun, then sure, you can put it that way. My idea of fun isn't dieing to barragers when you can't even get close enough to damage them with retribution. But sitting there in the base and watching them magers taunt us sure is fun.

People at Stealing Creation
Sorry but I'm one of those people. Here's how I look at it: A clan of 135+s with turmoil/soul split is barraging everyone to death. So what's the point of going out there with a dagger to repeatedly die? The only thing that will accomplish is give them more points and make them happier. So I usually sit in the base where I'm safe and have accumulated enough points for a sc tool. Now, if everyone on my team just sat in the base, those pkers would have nothing to do, and will probably get mad. So when idiots run out there to die time after time, I go like this :wall: . If you were actually able to overcome their attacks and kill them, then by all means go ahead, but just 1 iteming with a c4 dagger? Please don't.

People playing Runescape, but not enjoying it
Comparing grinding a skill to 99 to grinding for a quest requirement doesn't make any sense to me. The quest requirement is basically what it says - a requirement. A 99 isn't a requirement for anything, so forcing yourself to do something for so long that you don't even like? :wall: :wall: I mean, if you grinded a couple hours for a hunter level to do a quest that you really need to do, then sure, grind away, it's part of the game. But the important word here is "need", no one "needs" a 99, that's what's wrong with a lot of people nowadays, especially newer players who think "oh, im level 90 now, I need a 99 soon, so I'll just waste 50 hours to get 99 fletching that NO ONE will ever care about!" No, you DON"T NEED a 99!

Money making with lag?
If you want to merch, you need to have patience, items won't buy instantly below mid, and they won't sell instantly above mid. But if the item is stable, they will sell and you will profit.

Clue drop rate?
What if I don't want level 3 clues, but want level 2 clues? What monster should I hunt?
-
Clue drop rate?
Is it the same for all monsters? Or do some drop more often than others?

what is the world for sc skillers?
Works great, especially lately, as fewer people are crashing it to be annoying. Yup, they've been around for a long time, very organised, very fast games. Try it out w99.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
It would be, except you can't sell items to the TzHaar stores anymore. Camping tokkuls is decent, farming wergs is good too. But you should sell the herbs, not make unf pots. You'd be better off buying their junk with cash than to make unfs. Cool, gonna start slowly workin on this.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
A clan hit emerald rings. That forced cut emeralds up, then uncut emerald, and since emeralds cost so much, rubies naturally rose to maintain the gap and then diamonds did. Sapphires just rose to try to keep up with the rest. Don't you just love manipulation clans' effect on the economy? I know I do! :wall: Oh so that's what happened to dueling rings  , they cost so much now. Btw, what's a good way to work towards a higher end rare? Like a red mask/ phat? I probably will never be able to get one, but I'd like to know. Would camping for tokkuls for onyx's and farming wergs be a good idea to start?

20 Construction Suggestions
All construction updates are welcome in my eyes, as long as their reasonable. I love the idea of new portal destinations, and the other little things you've suggested. The items to be mounted sounds good too. I fully support this thread

How to stop the boredom?
Simple answer: Stop. Just don't train it if you find it boring. I'm just gonna go on a little rant here... Countless times, I've seen people say "OMG, fletching is soooooo boring, but I gotta get it to 99". No, you don't HAVE to get it to 99. You are forcing yourself to get 99 in it, but for what? So you can get respect because you have a skill cape? Well, guess what, no one is going to care about a fletching cape anyways. Now, if you genuinly loved the skill, then sure, go ahead and train it, get 200m exp in it, because you have fun. However, if you don't have fun, why are you wasting your time? You could spend the time elsewhere, like minigames/quests/other skills. Now, I don't know what your situation is, but if you're just training firemaking to say "I have a 99", then I advise you stop, please don't become another one of those idiots who wastes hours and hours just to get an easy cape to "show off", no one will care. Go do something fun in the game! But if you like the skill, and are just getting bored after training a long time, just take a break. Play castle wars, then go back to training and you'll enjoy it again. I know how the later levels take a long time between, so it could get tiresome, but if you take breaks, it'll go much faster than you realise. Sorry just had to get that off

herb farming
Weird, I have now exactly done 100 herb patches: and 583 avantoe.. So 5.8 herb/seed.. And that's including falador with shield, and trollheim patch! For some reason, I've also been getting less herbs than usual compared to last year. Maybe it's just my mind doing tricks, but I swear the most herbs I've gotten from a patch was 7 for the past couple weeks, and multiple times I've averaged 5 herbs per seed in a run. Whats up with that?

Butler or demon butler?
Thanks, the reason I asked was because I read somewhere that the demon butler is the best for training. Guess I'll stick to the normal one as I find it pretty good right now.
