They are rare, so if you're just doing it for the diary, I would suggest using mangled bones, as the mangled bones are a 100% drop i think, at least i got one on my first kill. But if you really want one, I have no idea, as the only mith dragon i ever killed was for the diary =/

Never, EVER kill the brawlers that people specifically lured to protect the knight. Especially on a VETERAN boat, which I'm guessing is the one you use with 80+ melees. Brawlers are the key to winning 99% of the time, so please, just don't kill them and ruin the game for everyone else. PS. this is a rare case in which i think the term noob is correctly used on you, you ruin the game for them first, so they ruin your game. All's fair.

Just kill the skeletons and use the other type of bones, I think they are called "Mangled bones". You get them from killing the corpses in the ancient carven, but the pyre ship spawns a lvl 166 barb spirit instead of a gift, so you gotta run away from it. Won't take long at all.

I farmed kwuarms from 52 ( i think that's the level needed ) all the way until 73, using snaps on the trollheim patch after lvl 62, and never noticed any increase in yields. However, my lantadymes were diseased much less often than my kwuarms, but that doesn't make any sense since i was only 1-5 levels above the lantadyme requirement.

Totally agree with this rant, these holiday events aren't fun and are very repetitive. The last one i did was this halloween, and had to go through 64 times of webbing stuff with the darn spider, very boring and annoying. The lag just adds to the problem, and thats why i gave up these events.

Don't stay at the base, run away, get a familiar and make a scroll. Cast clay deposit, problem solved!

Each task for a normal butler is 10 seconds i believe. Just do the noted logs to logs, then send him to the sawmill. It's ALOT cheaper but still won't be very slow.
