Slayer - Why do you like it?
Everywhere I go, I see people saying "slayer is pro", "train slayer", blah blah blah. And that's not only on these forums, in game too! So I wonder, why does everyone like slayer so much? To me, its very boring, and repetitive. Its just like any other skill, so when someone says "slayer is fun, has variety", I'm thinking "has that guy ever slayed before?" It's no better than skills such as mining/ agility/ thieving in terms of repetitive grinding. So I ask, why do you like slayer? Explain to me since I really want to know, maybe convince me to start training it again?

The shunned skill capes
Congrats on your first 99! Still working for my first ^^ Anyways, if you thouroughly enjoyed fletching, then thats wonderful. But what really gets on my nerves is when an idiot with an untrimmed cook/fletch cape with 1300 total decides to show it off. And they don't even like the skill. Every single bank I go to, I hear conversations like this: Player 1: Fletch levels? Player 2: 93 Player 3: 96 Player 1: 91 2: Damn, fletching is boring, but I gotta get 99 3: I know eh? Can't wait till I'm done with it. 1: Agreed. *Player 4 with fletch cape walks by and does emote* 1,2, and 3: I'm finally gonna get a cape soon. Thats what annoys me, why waste time on something that you find boring? It makes the whole untrimmed fletching cape bearers have a stereotype about them - 13 year olds who think they get e-spect for wearing a skillcape. Just as I am typing this, that same conversation happened again :wall: :wall: If you enjoy fletching, go ahead and train it, and I flame you. But if you are like ^ people, and start showing off to me, I will start flaming.

Power hunter
Doesn't barehanded require an agility level? Idk, but if you have the reqs then for sure go for it. If not, or starting from 60, red sallys are your best bet. With an arctic bear, I've also clocked over 100k exp/hr from 77-80 like mrpadre said. But if you find yourself not catching them often enough, you might consider going back to orange sallys. Generally sallys are the best exp (except black ones).

Cure for Tradable Rares
I think we've had enough inflation already, think of all those gps that would enter the game if this happened. And people will sell their partyhats, because most who own one are hoarders/merchers, so they have more than one at least, they'll just keep one and sell the rest.

D'eeing for pures
I've been wanting to get back on my age old pure for a while now, and these new gravite weapons from Dungeoneering seem pretty good to me. I'm just wondering, if I turn off shared exp, do I still get def and prayer exp? Because after the skill got released, I read in many places where people had their accounts ruined by getting def exp even with the shared exp turned OFF. So if that doesn't work, then I'm forced to solo, which is fine for a while, but won't be fast in the long run. That's the main thing which worries me. Also, what items does the gravite 2h protect over? I hear talk about rune scim > gravite 2h, and something about rune swords to be used. Any light on this would be great as well.

No money for expensive skills
Quoted for Truth! Construction does not REQUIRE money. You can theoretically DIY to 99, but it would take a long [wagon] time The only way it doesn't require money is if you camped armoured zombies or used limestone bricks you mined yourself or something. Using the sawmill/ plank make REQUIRES money. Another skill that REQUIRES money is summoning, because you have to BUY the shards. These two skills were designed to be money sinks, so its only natural they be expensive.

one-click pickpocketing
What's not as fun, homework? pickpocketing or pp?

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
highest score i've ever gotten :^_^:

one-click pickpocketing
because i can do homework / studying while using my left hand to pickpocket, and my right hand (and brain) to work with. I thus gain about 90k theiving exp more per hour, than by any other method :) good question though Wow, I never realized people multitasked like that  Why dont you just do you homework, finish it almost twice as fast w/o distractions, then use the extra hour to play pp/ blackjack, which is way over 200k/hr at 90 thieve, so you'd actually get more exp.

easyiest skill to lvl 99?
No, Summ. Get to 29 summ, get 51029 Blue charms, 4286436 shards, and 51029 pouches, 51029 chinchompas (they stack) and get 99 summ in one trip. Unfourtunately charms aren't buyable.

Castle Wars and Stealing Creation are BROKEN
Just because they're a higher level than you doesn't mean they didn't have fun. Somehow you keep managing to say more idiotic things each time I read your posts. GTFO. Exactly what I was thinking. This tbh- why I always wear karils top with torag/ veracs legs (or skirt <_< ) lets me block mage with ease, while ripping people to part with a cbow or whip  Of course, the fun starts with 10 people dark bows specing you (insta kill :ohnoes: ) You're joking, right? I don't have any, but I would think it would be smart not to waste barrows armour repair state in pvp minigames. Think about it, people use ANCIENTS in pvp minigames, which is easily way more expensive than barrows repair costs...

Best Combat Outfit For 15Mill
Don't use the dbaxe, it wastes the spec when you could use it for DDS. Also, get torag/dharok top + verac bottom. Good defence and prayer bonus.

3 Constructions questions
2) I don't know about maho tables, but I've always done oak doors. Cheap and efficient, esp when using the normal butler. The timing is perfect. 3) Yes Sc hammers are worth it, but if you don't like sc, then doing them w/o is fine too.

DCing/screen going black during dungeoneering
Maximize xp/floor, not xp/hour. What? That doesn't make any sense. Why would you not want to maximize xp/hr?

Favoritism?
Just leave the dungeon, have them fight a 5:5 boss with 4 people, that should give them some trouble and make them think again about being rude.

Is this a good house layout?
Well, I guess if you need it to be symmectrical, it looks good. Design your house to suit your needs always, and almost everyone's house is different. One suggestion on your dungeon, why do you have 2 chapels down there? You could remove them and make a 3x3 dungeon between the stairs and treasure room.
-
Is this a good house layout?
The design is indeed different, but it could be more practical if you moved the other portal room closer, and add a study closer too.

No money for expensive skills
The way the game is being played right now by some people, is all about efficiency. But to be efficient, you need to have a high income, which is mainly boss hunting. So as a result, some of the arguements like "time = money", "better spend more money on a skill and train it faster than slowly training it for a little profit" only apply to those people who make 2m+/hour. There aren't many ways to make that much that isn't combat related, or it is otherwise a big grindfest and will make you want to give up after an hour or two. Here is how high levels play the game: 1. GWD/ TDs for a week, get a bunch of awesome drops that are worth tens of millions. 2. Buy a skill level they want, (say 95 prayer) 3. Grind it out. 4. Repeat. To OP: just train however you want to, don't worry about efficiency at your levels. Hell, don't worry about efficiency ever, b/c once you get to a bad stretch of drops, it gets pretty bad.

Herblore Help
Ahh, ok. I would still rather pay 1gp/exp more for a useful pot. Just something to consider :) Spec restores are plenty useful I heard.
