What's the point of that? You could just lend it out for cash. Maybe you can just keep your onyx, or try to accumulate junk through trades. Say you need a set of battle robes, then buy them for cash and keep the junk. Eventually you can get rid of all the junk with ur onyx.

I think merging the three Graveyard forums into one would benifit. The reason is there is little activity there, but if you did combine the 3, people who only go into one forum (ex. Graveyard help & advice) could still see a topic they might be interested in but would originally be in one of the other forums. This might make the Graveyard forums more active! Just a thought.

I haven't got any effigy yet, but I just have a question. When you get one, theres two skills required right? Can you use either one? Or must you have both? For example, I think construction and thieving go together, can I use my construction skill to get it to the next level? Or would I need thieving levels too.

If going by the above post with crowns worth 40m, I don't think your chances are good. I think battle sets are worth around 15m, and the bottom is worth 8m give or take.

Ok first of all, I'd like to say thanks to everyone who tried to help. I did not expect to get so many replies although most of them were debating the 2.7m/hr. So right now, since I don't have the scroll of life, I'm planting 4 avantoes and 1 snap every run. I plan on keeping the avantoes for training herblore, and I don't care about what you guys say about planting all snaps then selling and buying the pots/ seconds. I understand the whole oppertunity cost thing, but in the end, I just don't care enough. Plus, avantoe seeds are cheap, and my startup cash isn't that much. In the end, I might change my mind and buy some levels, but that's another issue. So I have one more question, how does the scroll of life work? I read about it being bugged a while back, is it still?

I want to train my herblore, preferably to 85 +, but since I just used most of my money on my house, I decided to farm my own herbs since I'm in no hurry. My question is, which herb would be the best to farm for this? I'm using all 5 patches but planting snaps on My Arm's patch. That leaves 4 patches to train herblore with.

I only made it to 80 by the end of last summer, so for the whole time from then till now, I've been making money/ playing sc and training! And check out my stats compared to 2 years ago, when I first got members! I think I've bought a total of 1 year 2 months of membership during that time :smile:

Why don't you just use turm/ovl with ss then? Surly that's better than turm/ovl with rapier?

P2p if you have good gear like claws/ice barrage/ void, since it kills faster. F2p if you don't have them b/c you can basically guarantee a 100% win rate in f2p.

Yes use the SoL, even if not for rune saving, that 15% extra bonus is a lot. Battle robes are worth around 15m street for the set, although you can try to snipe some in the GE, although I wouldn't use them for bursts, but if you already have em, for sure use it. Ahrim's bottom is very expensive, so you might want to replace with mystic, and spend the extra money on runes. For your inv, bring prayer potions, prossy top and bottom, runes, some blood bursts would be good too. Look up guides on youtube know how to get there and lure, its kinda hard to explain w/o photos/videos.

I thought you were talking about edgeville pking in that first paragraph haha. To OP: Put melee protect on your quick prayer list, so you dont have to switch screens to activate it. Leave mage pray on before you see them, and when they start rushing at you, click the prayer icon to turn on protect from melee. Hope it helps.

I agree skilling still has its place, but it is by no way a get rick quick thing. On the other hand, with monster hunting, one drop could give you enough money to spend for a month or more. A con about monster hunting is it is very luck-dependent, which means some people have great luck while others have terrible luck. I know there is no way to make it not based on luck, but it still has put me off monster hunting, and makes me stick with farming/MTK/flipping for profit.
