  1. Really? I scan the summoning threads daily, can't believe i missed that.
  2. Thanks to that new thread about the new guthix robes i discovered this: [hide] [/hide] I would bet money that is a summoning obelisk. Also there is another one behind the spirit wolf and it looks kind of misty. Maybe that is what happens when you actually summon? For those of you who dont know what a summoning obelisk is:
  3. I think your right, and also take a look at the stone pillars beside him, i would bet money that is a summoning obelisk.
  4. Silly Mech! That is no brimhaven monster! That is the AFRO TROLL! Ahem. Sorry about that. *shakes head* i didnt realize how fast Anon spread
  5. they blocked tip.it at my school :wall: (vote 1052 lol), i am on here at least twice a day about an hour and a half total, i'm actually spend more time on here than i do on rs during the week lol
  6. sweet lol, just checked and i am accepted
  7. Awesome idea man, i would really like to see more spots for items in the costume room, such as a spot for villager clothes and maybe some expensive quest weapons like Keris and crystal shield and such.
  8. lol same here dude, i'm checking every morning and afternoon to see if it has been accepted or denied.
  9. Ah: misread the post: nvm.
  10. Its possible to get 50k ess a week, if you really no life it and go full bore you can get 10k ess a day.
  11. And would you like to enlighten us with those ways?
  12. Yes but just watch, Runescape is gonna stand solid and firm on its feet when WoW takes the plunge.
  13. I dont visit those types of sites (your the first one to say it but i think many more thought it). My material comes through non-internet sources and does not touch my computer. Also i'm not really saying its the actual Tip.it site that gave me the virus, i'm pretty sure it was one of the adds or banners that play on the tip.it site that infected me.
  14. So explain to us then, how do you use a P2P client "correctly"?... Downloading anything online, even through a P2P client you thought you could trust always carries the risk of catching a virus. You just don't realize that. Tip.it may try its best not to give you any malware, but unless those ads are theirs and theirs alone, you can't guarantee anything. They do a pretty good job of keeping their ads clean and in line, but since Google gives you the ads to display (and Google might not check for adware/malware in the people that give them ads), there's no implied guarantee that it's safe at all. For a P2P client you don't download things that are too good to be true. Like if you want a movie thats an hour long and it's only 5MBs big. I only use P2P for music only (.mp3 files, no other types), which usually can't contain viruses in them. Other file types can, like .wmv or .asf. The big thing is, don't use a client that is known to contain malware when you install them, such as Kazaa or Bearshare. Same thing here, i have only used the limewire i have to download about 20 songs and 1 movie (mp4) format. Also to move on the pop ups and viruses. You can get a virus just be clicking on a link to a website, it automatically starts a hidden file transfer. Some poeple lost there accounts on runescape because a "friend" sent them that kind of link on a messenger and it installed a keylogger. And many popups and ads automatically click links to their sites for you.
  15. I applied
  16. Ok the Pharoh's Sceptre from Pyramid Plunder mini-gam. Where is it gotten from, the urns, the chest, the sarcaphogous (bad spelling i know)? If you have gotten one, what did you get it from (chest, urn, s. thing), and how long did it take you and on what lvl?
  17. How long does the trial version last?
  18. Only problem with the masters thing is its from the early 90s. =S. Anyways, as I said before, I'm currently running a virus/spyware scan, I'll see what comes up. Also, could the fact I use SwiftSwitch when I play RS do anything about it? Thanks. Masters from the early 90's !!!! Unless he has had continous training he is basically taking a shot in the dark at this age. SwiftSwitch wouldnt do anything if it did it would just create more lag.
  19. I see in all those runescape videos people make and post on youtube they are using an unregisterd hypercam. Where can i download that software?
  20. I have one thats not free, but it is well worth your money. I about wanna bake the company that makes it a cake or something. It's call System Mechanic 7 Profesional Click Here for Site. It costs $50 to buy and $40 a year for it. But it is the best firewall and virus scanner i have seen (and i have seen and used over 2 dozen). Simple as ever to operate also. I very highly recomend it.
  21. Well he might be right. To be sure go to the "Tools" menu. Scroll down and click on "Interent Options" You should see a section labeled "Browsing History" right on the first tab. Click "Delete". You should then get another pop up with about 5 options of things to delete. I recomend deleting "Cookies", "Temporary Internet Files" (that one will take a while), and "Form Data". You can delete "History" if you want, but i think you might want to keep that. If that doesnt help your problem get a good virus scanner. Do NOT download any free scanners. If you have the yahoo toolbar the virus scanner on there is decent even though it is norton. (Full blown Norton version is absolutely horrible). Thats all i can think of right now.
  22. Opera FTW! I use it as well for most of my things :D. All the other things, I use Firefox. With Opera, you never get any pop-ups, not even the tip.it popups. Opera usually shows you in the right hand top corner that a pop up was blocked and you need to click on that to open it. Also, if antivirus software is Norton or Avast, change it, these are not good for anything at all. Also, this goes on the website discussion section on the index. Its not norton, my dad has that, omg bites sooooooooooo bad. The firewal i got is Sytem Mechanic Profesional 6, we originally bought the disc to fix an old computer that was corrupt, but it was tottally useless. Found it came with a firewall and virus scanner. Use that on this new computer.
  23. I dont use firefox, born and raised on IE, i find firefox too odd a look for me.
  24. I didnt download anything new. Havent even had limewire open in two weeks. Plus i run daily checks, i didnt have adware yesterday, today i did. It wasnt a well hidden virus, it was found within 10 seconds at the start of the scan. If you use limeware, honestly, you deserve to have at least 150 different viruses by now. If you use limwire then I would blame that, downloading things from there messed up an old computer of mine and I will not use it again. Many files on there are viruses. I never had problems with tip.it by the way. I havent had problems up till now either, but then again this is the first time i left an window to the main paige up for 10 hours. Also i know for sure i havent downloaded with limewire in a month so its not that.
  25. Thank you for reminding me. My internet provider SBC Global (now merged with AT&T) has built in firewalls to the modem that are super good. Had the computer 2 and half years, had five viruses. Also i have only used limewire to download like 20 songs and the TommyBoy movie (which was in mp4 format so the burnt disc wont play on anything >.<). And the last one was um at least before december, i know i havent been on it since i met my current gf.
