Sorry to say i was optimistic at first, but you can plainly see the picture is a fake, just look at the bold black outline around all the skills on highscores, the sailboat does not have it. So its an obvious fake.

How are they to know it's a toy gun though? There has been incidents before when Police have thought people were wielding toy guns, instead they were live guns and a Police officer was killed. Guns are not something to [bleep] around with, replica guns shouldn't even be given to kids. Guns should only ever be used in matters of security and sport, I don't see why a 7 year old kid needs a BB gun. Obviously those parents didn't mention anything about gun safety to their child as it was allowed hold a BB gun in a moving car. If a child is taught gun safety and only used under the supervision of a adult that is ok, but letting a child [bleep] around with a BB gun in a moving car is idiotic. Toy guns are marked by the orange plastic tip on the gun and most of time are colored something like purple. I grew up fine playing war with my friends with those guns or nerf guns. A BB gun however is not a toy, it can be lethal and/or cause physical harm. I wasn't allowed to even hold my BB gun i got when i was 11 without my dad around (we used the BB gun for practice and learning to prepare me for hunting). I agree with you that the seven year old had no reason to have a BB gun, i doubt that dad even mentioned gun safety or rules to his son. And i just re-read what you said and your right, replicas shouldn't be given to kids either, they need to recognize the difference between play and dangerous things.

Sworddude is right, if the gun you buy does not have that plastic orange tip, get some orange electrical tape and wrap it around the end of the barrel. And he is also right in the fact do not EVER point it at a person and do not point it at buildings either. If by some chance the police are called on you drop the gun the second you see the officer(s) and the remain standing and do not move or try to touch the gun again. And yes i know what you mean about the 7 year old sworddude, it takes a special type to deal with guns at that age, this kid has been hunting with his dad for years (not carrying at first, just watching and learning). This kid has had years of practice and dicipline with guns, it helps growing up here in the Midwest, always something to hunt.

Ah, the news article i saw wasn't even 30 minutes old so i didn't think there would even be another thread about it. But i saw your opinion and i aplaud you on it. You are one of the few sane people in this world that actually understand what it means to have a gun and how to be safe with one.

Yes handguns are used for hunting, small animals such as rabbits. And have you seen how long a rifle is? Doorways in a home are two feet across, rifles and other guns are easily four feet. Not exactly the ideal weapon for home defense unelss your living in a loft. Not to mention the recoil from a rifle in that small of a space you have no chance to make a second shot. Handguns are small and have small recoils, making them perfect for home defense. And to be able carry a handgun in public you need a license to carry with a mandatory training class (its like a two week class i think). It some states you can not carry no matter what, other states you just need to take the class and in other states you need to take the class and prove to a judge why you need to carry.

That was just idiotic of the parents, what the hell are they doing giving BB guns to a 7 year old? All it takes his him to shoot it and he could easily blind someone or cause other injuries. Ok, that guy was an idiot in dealing with his kids with toy guns, they need to be taught properly. And don't say that load of BS about giving a toy gun to a seven year old, i know seven year olds that hunt, are responsible with guns and are even a better shot than me. Age doesn't mean a thing when it comes to gun safety, you need to be taught properly.

Finally something is being done about the infringement on our right to bear arms. I'm glad my rights are finally being protected. Its just the first step, but its about time this has happened.

Really i hate junk trades, just a way for the rich to become even richer. Sure yes the GE has its problems, some prices are wrong, but my god what do you expect when you change the ENTIRE ECONOMY And really the fact that Jagex hasn't fixed the prices yet i think really shows that they really don't think you need to be getting more money for those items. And the way people whine that you should be getting more money for the items, you sound like children. Here is a little know fact: runescape it based on real life, A fact about life: life ain't fair, long story short: get over it and sell it GE price.

I'm guessing the OP knows nothing of economics? I haven't even taken an econ class yet and i can tell you rwt would cause one major problem: inflation. When everybody has 500 million in gold, we aren't going to be selling full rune for 200k, its gonna be 200 million, and what happens to that f2p person that just started who couldn't make 200 million if they had a year? They would leave, and then one by one lower levels would cut out, and people would stop joining, and runescape would experience negative population growth until nothing is reamining. And at your remark of people having advantages irl? One of my friends is a classified genius and plays runescape. i would say he would have quite an advantage over the average 11 year old that decides to play. Well i didn't experience this directly, but its a reliabel source (my mom). Ok well i have 3 half sisters, the two youngest have the same father, their father's parents died years before he and my mother ever even met. But yet they went up to their dad and said things about their dead grandparent's that they couldn't have known unless someone told them, my mom and him went around and asked everyone, nobody had mentioned a thing to my sisters. When the girls were asked who told them that stuff they said that the grandparents themselves had told them this. Then one night my mother woke up to the sound of the older of the two crying, when my mom asked her what was wrong she replied this "I can't talk to them anymore". There are a lot of stories like that were small children can communicate with dead realitives, makes you wonder what you might of seen back then huh?

They are improving tiny bits of the game so it lessens the workload for the big update. We want a list of those updates compare them and see what the future is going to look like.

Lol, hey you never know who will over hear you talking about something and how far it will go. Thats why i decided to make this thread, some of these may be truely unique ideas and if just one got into the hands of someone who could make it happen imagine how much it could help the world if it was an idea like the one i had.

I'm not saying post ideas for laser weapons, and nano-machines are withing our technological grasp, i have no doubt it will be possible within 10 years. And the whole concept of this thread is to tell your ideas so somebody that does know how to build it or can figure out how to, can, we aren't posting blue prints, we are posting thoughts and ideas.
