  1. 85% is almost FC? That's news to me. Now I know just how full of [cabbage] some posts here are. Not that I didn't know some already . . .
  2. Dude Potter Puppet Pals is amazing. Watch the later ones with real puppets. "Hagrid's Buttcrack!"
  3. Learn something new every day. I like that website. This article had me in stitches: http://www.snopes.com/lost/fraction.asp The comment from the senator about the Dewey Decimal System and Truman was hilarious. Oh lord.
  4. WT FCs #28 & 29 Yay.

^I don't think they ever said he was dead, just "not around anymore." But no, we don't know what happened to him. What? 1974 is 1974. It's not 2006 with a different label. Everything happening in the show now happened 30 years before season 1. I think I know what you're trying to say, but it doesn't change anything. Think of 2005 and 1974 as two separate cars on a train. Whether you put 1974 in front of, behind, above 2005, it still happened before 2005 and has an effect on what happens in 2005.
  6. The Allman Brothers Band - Jessica Now I'm all happy n' stuff.

I thought the same thing, but the present day Ben (actually younger but played by Emerson) was shown during the Purge, and with his father. It's definitely him. The obvious answer is that the wound didn't kill him. Sayid tried to change the future but wasn't around to hear Faraday say that the future couldn't be changed. Or else Faraday was wrong.

I rescind this statement. He went rogue, but in an awesome way. He also has the greatest insane laugh ever.
  9. Right click on the album in your library and select "get info", then double-click the box that says "artwork" and browse for the right pic, or else drag it there.
  10. Dream On was the first one I got but Kings and Queens is just too long and the only moderately difficult parts are at the very end. I do like the song though. I got Paranoid and Even Flow on the same day after pretty much giving up on them  That made sets 1, 2 and 4 with 4/5 songs FCed. RaRAN, Barracuda, and Kool Thing -.-
  11. gratz. I have 23 FCs on GH3 but not that one. Same. We've been owned. Seriously, that's a hell of a first.

I doubt she was thinking clearly enough to make that kind of judgment. Daphne isn't dead yet I thought . . . she's still in a coma? But the reason I didn't like it was because it was poorly executed. I mean, she wakes up with cards from people who think she's Gwen Stefani and I'm like "haha?" and then she runs out on Matt and I'm like "what?" Then Matt shows up in Paris saying he can fly and they start drifting around in the clouds and I'm thinking that the writers were totally stoned, THEN they decide to tell the viewers that none of it is real.

Matt and Daphne's . . . escapades . . . were just no. I had given up on making any sense out of what the hell was going on and then they go "O iz not rl silly!" Just . . . #-o And Tracy conveniently left everyone except the main characters in comas . . . wonderful. I suppose the rest was decent.
  14. Somehow I went from 5th to 4th on Wii for Weapon of Choice, but from like 26th to 33rd all systems. Wut.

I have to ask, what the hell are the Dragon Kidz? Well, I searched for a pic, but nothing could quite capture the essence of the guys who have their own little corner in the cafeteria and play Magic: The Gathering while having at least one laptop for God knows what (I saw one of them programming a Java applet once) and stick together like glue, taking pride in their label to the point of roping off a section of the gym lobby with a sign reading "Dragon Kidz Only" so they could play Halo in undisturbed bliss. I saw one of them playing chess with himself the other day. Rather odd. Most of them are seniors now so it's died down a bit. But that's a Dragon Kid.

The only distinctive social groups in my school are the Dragon Kidz and the [wagon]es. I belong to neither.
  17. He was acting pretty nonchalant about him, don't you think? He doesn't care about Count Draynor so much as about what Prysin might find out by investigating him.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Cns4yW4LRo&feature=channel_page Damn the chart for One is way different. The verse is actually interesting now lol.
  19. I was playing hide and go seek with the kids and I locked myself in a huge bird avery and couldn't get out :P So I guess I wasn't looking at what I was doing and sliced it off! looks normal now, they did a great job of sewing it back on. The only dodgy thing is the nail but you can still see the stitching under light. Can't complain, could have been left without my finger. Who was the lucky guy that got to go find the finger?
  20. I'm going to try and list them in order of occurrence: About five years old, my younger brother (about 2 or 3) was playing with a razor while my parents were doing wallpaper and I took it from him and ended up cutting myself. Sliced open my index, middle, and rings fingers near the tips, had to have them stitched and the doctor stitched them together for some reason. Eleven or 12 maybe, was skateboarding and hit a rock the size of my fingernail. Somehow that little pebble managed to completely stop the skateboard and send me flying off it. Broke my left arm. On a Scout trip and we were climbing over some fallen trees. I was sitting on one with my feet on another, and slipped off, falling forward and slamming into that lower one squarely on my stomach. Couldn't breath for about a minute, probably one of the scariest experiences of my life. Was canoeing in Minnesota last summer and on one of the last days I was washing up at camp, overbalanced on the rock I was kneeling on and nearly fell in the water. Flung a hand out to catch myself and jammed and sliced open one of my fingers on the rock. And just a few months ago I was helping set up for a fundraiser dinner by spreading out these rolls of cheap tablecloth. There was a gap between two tables and the plastic was stretched over it, so another guy went to cut it with a razor. He was having trouble so I held the thing taut for him. He takes another failed swipe or two, then goes "Oh I'm using the back of it" and makes a huge slash at the plastic, catching my finger which I didn't move in time without adequate warning. That one probably should have gotten stitches but I didn't want to make my parents pay for them so I took the huge scar it left me. Nothing really huge, I guess, but lots of painful incidents.

Besides marijuana's status as a gateway drug being dubious -- not everyone who smokes pot tries harder drugs or has any desire to -- it can pretty much be nullified by legalization. Who is going to peddle with street dealers and through them be introduced to other substances (even possibly through the pot itself if the dealer is careless enough) when they can grab a pack at the nearest BP? And why would anyone go out of their way to obtain cocaine or heroin -- which are and should remain illegal -- when they can legally use marijuana?

I still haven't found the dog with five red stripes on his tail, and no one's circled it. You could go for that one :P

Does anyone know if the trade and battle functions work on ROMs? The memory on all my old games died so I have ROMs of them now, but no flash cart so I play them on the computer.
  24. LOTR is broken into six books, commonly collected into three volumes. It was written as a single book though. What I've read out of the list: Huck Finn Beowulf LOTR The Little Foxes (Why is this in there? Srsly) Frederick Douglass Benjamin Franklin Wizard of Earthsea List need moar [bleep]ens. I haven't read Oliver Twist though :( I've read other works that aren't on the list from some of those authors, like [bleep]ens, Achebe, Irving, and Hemingway.

Jack = owned. Sawyer ripped him apart at the end there . . . first he's like "Wtf you and Juliet?!?" and then he gets schooled in leadership. Ha. I think it's funny how Locke, the one person who would actually care a LOT about learning about the history of the island and DHARMA, is one of those who stays in 2007. I suppose Ben meeting his younger self would have been a problem, but Frank and Sun don't really make sense staying in the present. Except to make Jin and Sun have an epic search for each other, THROUGH TIME. The only thing I don't like about the show right now is Sayid. I'm just not sure about where they're taking him . . . he has nothing at all worth living for at this point and even less reason to be on the island. He's going to go rogue or something. I dunno. EDIT: Oh, and Faraday =/= Radzinsky. The fans got owned.
